Vote to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem?

I know that deficits no longer matter and we have at least three more years, maybe seven more, to spend as much money as we can before they once again become a priority. If they can do it for a reasonable amount, no problem. If it is going to be bigger than the US Embassy in Bagdad and cost billions, I don’t think it is necessary.

Iran has called on countries around the world to take a stand against Israel.
Iran has long been the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. They bank rolled the first and second infada and even paid the families of suicide bombers. Israel intersected a freighter loader with weapons and ammo, the Iranians even sued to get it back. I don't think they are the people we should be basing our foriegn policy on.

I might have heard that President Trump and others are also interested in making Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

But in case he is interested in this, since when do foreigners decide if an independent and sovereign country may change capitals?

Or, are they still subject to some international legally binding arrangement which was started by Great Britain at the end of World War 2?

I think they look to Genesis 12 et al, and signal their support.
