If asserting that he is is a racist makes him one, then yes. He's racist regardless of the specific terminology he may or may not use.
You think making USA look like even more of a racist country is going to help you? I think you are very mistaken.
What silly pretension. No wonder Trump won....
Such persons are more correctly characterized as bigots and / or xenophobes.
About Islam not being a race: quite correct, it would not be proper to assume that someone with an unsubstantiated distrust of Muslims is a racist (although to the extent that being Muslim is perceived as connected to skin color, race could still be an issue).

Who said anything about race?
Security is so much more preferable to freedom. Good thing we don't call ourselves "brave" or anything. Boy, would that be embarrassing...Even before this ruling, you were calling America racist. Clearly, the opinions of some will never be changed no matter what happens. May as well do what we can to keep our country secure without worrying about what everyone's opinion is about it--especially of those who can't be pleased no matter what.

1) The word doesn't have any meaning if it can be used to apply to anything we disagree with.Dear Trump Voter,
1.) That's why I used the word "bigoted".
2.) Despite whatever you may perceive to be its effect, your quibbling over terminology doesn't distract anybody from the substance of the discussion, which is anti-Muslim bigotry.

Lol. Then, what's the point? It's not a ban on Muslims
I kind of felt that he would win this battle in the end.
It's more than a "handful of people." How many suicide bombings are carried out by "bad actors" in other religious groups? We're not applying it to "anything we disagree with". We're applying it to the negative labeling of a people group based on the actions of a handful of people within that group, and without consideration of the rate of bad actors within that group to the rate of bad actors within other groups. You can't honestly, accurately, or intelligently claim that Muslims are more dangerous than other groups without comparing the rate of crime/terrorism within that community to the rate of crime/terrorism within other communities.

I agree Islam is a horrible ideology and should be purged from the Earth along with any other oppressive, ancient Middle Eastern belief system we find incompatible with our free and secular society. I never thought Christians would support such a thing but, here we are.
