Impeachment is a pipe dream at this point. It will not happen,
and those trying to push it forward are only going to make fools
of themselves in front of everyone. I look forward to hearing calls
for them to resign in disgrace before this ends.

And who wants to bet on whether or not the courts try to step
in and block Trump from moving our embassy or acknowledging
Jerusalem as capital of Israel?

All I can say is, Trump had better follow through on this. Not only am I sick and tired of waiting for the US to do this, but it's about time for Trump to accomplish something positive.

I don't think they will resign in disgrace. They are Democrats, and Democrats elected them. But what they are doing is wasting time. This will not happen with Republican majorities in the House and Senate. It's like they borrowed a page from the House Republicans, who voted over and over to repeal Obama care while Obama was still President and they knew he would veto it.

The idea of moving the embassy has apparently already been shelved, and it would be a dangerous move for our personnel. As for declaring Jerusalem the capitol, I have a hunch that that was a trial balloon and it wont actually happen.

Yes, it will make a difference and even the MSM knows it.
Right now, the UN thinks it can tell Israel what to do within
its own borders, and nobody has checked them on it. Israel
won't raise a big stink because every country around it is
ready to attack them for any perceived reason.

For the moment, east to Jordan would be good. There is no
legal reason for Israel to give away the 'disputed' territories.
The Arabs never owned it, and no sane nation gives land to
terrorists and enemies who want to kill them.
