I don't understand what you're asking.
The poll should help. I just added it.

Essentially... In my opinion... Western Christianity has fashioned an idol that throws out Jesus’ teachings in favor of propeganda based nationalism and anti-sinner movements... that throw out compassion, mercy and Love, while mimicing the Pharisees...

Judge not lest ye be judged is one of the highest casualties... (In my opinion)

Judge not lest ye be judged... said “American Conservative Republican Jesus” Never!

Why is biblical Jesus thrown to the side and why does judge not get trampled so frequently?
You may want to add the actual Biblical meaning to your list of responses.

I think it depends on what we consider judgment. Back in the day, you were judged of sin and that would often require heavy punishment. Like when they gathered to throw stones at the sinner woman. Passing judgment is saying she deserves to die for her sins. What ISN'T judgement is when Jesus told the woman at the well that she had five husbands.

Today, people throw around "don't judge me!" if we're not doing something like we should.

In the same chapter (Matthew 7) as the "judge not" verse are:
-Don't cast your pearls before swine
-You will know them by their fruits
-Wide is the gate that leads to destruction

That all speaks of how we are to react around others who are sinful. But the chapter also talks about how we are to deal with ourselves. Jesus said to remove the plank from our own eyes first, THEN you can deal with the splinter in your brother's eye.

What does the “Plank” you symbolically say can be “Removed” symbolize to you?

1 John 1:8 and John 8:7 have always seemed pretty concrete.

You mean like the Jesus of Matthew 23?

Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 23 - New American Standard Bible

The judge not has to do with judging others according to a self righteousness. It does not mean we as fellow fallen man cannot warn others of God's Holy Standards.

Jesus said in Matthew 5 we should be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. So we do justice by pointing out none of us are perfect and the only One Who walked the Earth perfectly created the way to the Father through the Cross and Empty Tomb.

If we say to our neighbor God will overlook their sin then we lie to them and their blood is on our hands.

Jesus said "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:19)

The law reveals our sin.

Exactly...

Matthew 23 is Jesus judging those that throw aside Judge not...

The Pharisees are the picture of those who claim to be without sin and condemn others.

John 8:7 and 1 John 1:8 make this abundantly clear.

What is your understanding of James 2:10?

John 7:24 says, "Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly."

24 Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

And Judge not lest ye be judged.

Did Jesus contradict Himself, or is humanity ignoring...

John 8:7 “He without sin”

And 1 John 1:8 “If you say you have no sin you call Him a liar”

Again, what is your point? I don't understand what you're trying to get at.

You said if you remove the beam... you can then remove others specs...

What is the beam you have removed?

You said, sin in your life.

Are you saying you have no sin?

No I never said I had no sin. I'm simply not understanding the point that you're making.

Jesus said Judge not lest ye be judged.

If one judges by the Law, they will be condemned by the Law.

You said if a person removes the Plank “Sin in their life”... they can assist with the “specs” in others lives.

I asked if you had no sin.

You honestly answered... “No” (As You honestly admit you have sin in your life)... I have Sin too... for the record.

How can anyone righteously Judge if they have sin in their life? It’s either sin or Sinless.

James 2:10

Is Judge not lest ye be judged really this confusing to so many?

It's only confusing when someone ascribes a meaning to the context of that verse that isn't what it was meant for. You're never going to remove sin from your life, but you can address it and work on it and try your hardest. That's completely different from people who just say "thou shalt not judge!" and never address the sin in their lives. That's what the other verse means by judging righteously. It doesn't say NOT to judge...it says if you judge, you will be judged by the same measure, so you better be working on your own stuff before you accuse others.

What you have written is well written and honest.

Jesus indeed says, “Judge Not” but allows us to judge by reminding us that if we judge... per the law... we will fall from grace and be judged by the law... as well.

Galatians says this over and over.

Consider Ephesians 2:8 and Romans 4:4, in light of what I emboldened.
