But we aren’t discussing being fair or unfair, we are discussing whether innocent until proven guilty applies in elections. It does not.
Yes, we were discussing the matter of fairness because that is the origin of the legal principle you are referring to. It always applies.

Heck, that was just, like, when I was a teen that girls went through puberty later. Just since the 90s, schools have had to start installing sanitary napkin dispensers in the girls restrooms in elementary schools.

It's not artificial light. I'm convinced there has been a chemical change in food and water--because there are lots of other negative things that have happened in the American physique since the 70s.
I also think it might have to do with more girls being overweight and obese. You have to reach a certain amount of body fat to menstruate. But I am not sure we know the whole story about what causes weight gain either.

The subject here is Roy Moore, not Donald Trump or someone else. But "nice try" to you, I suppose.

As previously stated, Judge Roy Moore had also been a member, in good standing, of the "birther" movement , which has a direct bearing on Abion's "Thou shalt bit bear false witness " comment!

Do we really want to reward a Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court who, for the last 8 years, has bore "false witness" against the nation's first "black" President - in an attempt to undermine his constitutional authority to hold that office?

How fair was that?

Then saying THAT would have been relevant. But that's not what was posted and not what prompted my comment.

Actually the principal “innocent until proven guilty” comes from an ancient Roman Legal Maxim, “proof lies on him who asserts, not him who denies.” It is a rule of evidence in criminal law. Fairness has nothing to do with it, nor does it apply to elections.

Of course fairness does play a part, and that's for the obvious reason that the legal concept that you refer to became accepted, in our culture, as a fundamental ethical principle. And that was before it was reasserted and enshrined in the legal system of the new republic (USA).

Wrong. Fairness was not a concern in the Roman Legal System. Feel free to offer proof to back you claim.

Very few fat kids and teens back in the 70s. If you take a look at photographs through the years, you see that something changed in the 80s. Not just the level of activity, either, because there were inactive folk in the 70s, too.

The military has noticed this. Prior to the 90s, the military didn't have any concerns about the weight of incoming recruits. The basic training regimen could whittle the "fluff" off any 18-year-old male.

The military is facing a different kind of fat these days--it doesn't respond to exercise and diet management, not even in 18-year-old males. So now the military has started restricting the weight of incoming recruits, something it never had to do before.
