Most crimes do, the main exception being murder.

Wikipedia said:
The purpose and effect of statutes of limitations are to protect defendants. There are three reasons for their enactment:

  • A plaintiff with a valid cause of action should pursue it with reasonable diligence.
  • By the time a stale claim is litigated, a defendant might have lost evidence necessary to disprove the claim.
  • Litigation of a long-dormant claim may result in more cruelty than justice.
In Classical Athens, a five-year statute of limitations was established for all cases except homicide and the prosecution of non-constitutional laws (which had no limitation). Demosthenes wrote that these statutes of limitations were adopted to control "sycophants" (professional accusers).

All of those reasons are also reasons to doubt the accusations against Moore...

That may be true legally, but she still my have consented. That in no way means it's ok. I certainly don't support it.

You apparently don’t understand the concept of age of consent. At 14 she couldn’t consent to anything.

Moore however has been accused of it. He has not been found guilty. To call him a rapist or a molester is judging him on something he has not been found guilty of yet.

This is a political campaign, not a trial. He doesn’t have to be found guilty of anything. A number of years ago Gary Hart, a Democratic candidate for president, was accused of having an affair. He was never tried, never found guilty of anything. But it ended his campaign.

Nope. Just expecting you to read what's already in front of you. If you can't be bothered with that I see no reason to bother repeating myself once more.

IF it were right in front of me, I wouldn't have to sift through 200 posts to find it, while trying to keep my lunch in my stomach.

But not problem - that is a usual tactic for accusers to make accusations, then spend time writing umpteen words of excuses for why they are deflecting from answering a question.

Many, many, many blessing to you, especially in communication. :)

Let's not forget that the (alleged) serial rapist Bill Clinton is still a rock star in the Democratic Party. Anyone who supports him doesn't have the moral authority to comment on a man of Roy Moore's character. Roy Moore is accused of touching a girl through her underwear. Bill Clinton (allegedly) violently raped Anita Broderick and sexually assaulted a string of others. The corrupt media covered for him for years.
Funny - - I was listening to NPR when the Monica Lewinsky story first came up. Bill said, "No, that didn't happen," so I thought, "Oh. Okay,". but that wasn't the approach the reporter had. That person questioned him over and over, and although Clinton continued to deny it, the seed of doubt was definitely planted in my mind, because I thought the reporter knew more than he or she was saying. Can't get much more MSM than NPR.

That's the real problem - you want to be spoon-fed. Nope, you're too old for that.

It's not hard to find the answer, all you have to do is look at my post history.

How many posts now have you made, deflecting from answering a simple question to your posted claim......a dozen?....lol totally expected...and funnier as you continue to deflect.

Trump: Vote For an Alleged Sexual Predator Because He’s Tough On Crime

tulc(is surprised by some of "The Party of Family Values" peoples response to this situation) :sorry:
Trump's idea of law and order is to fire, Preet Bharara and 46 US Attorneys of the New York Southern District. Dana Boente U.S. attorney for Eastern District of Virginia. The FBI director James Comey. Then pardons Joe Arpaio a jail sentence after he was convicted of criminal contempt. Supporting an alleged sexual predator sounds pretty consistent with how the Trump administration rolls over law and order as a matter of policy.

Key word, U.S. attorney.

(c)
Each United States attorney is subject to removal by the President.
(Added Pub. L. 89–554, § 4(c), Sept. 6, 1966, 80 Stat. 617.)

Sheriff Joe Arpaio was charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt and convicted by US Dist Judge Bolton, after US Dist Judge Murray Snow, in a bench trial (no jury), had charged Arpaio.

Missing information; "misdemeanor".
Missing information; "pardoned by Trump"

Missing information; Trump has Constitutional authority to Pardon.
Missing information; The Judge's U.S. District Judge's Susan Bolton, Murray Snow.
Missing information; US Judges are Presidential appointees.

Feb 2017 already in the works were orders from the President for Local authorities to detain illegals, for the Feds.

July 2017 US District Judge sentences Arpaio for refusing to stop detaining illegals.

Aug 2017 Trump pardoned Arpaio.

Oct 2017 Charges dropped.

Trump's idea of law and order

is to use the LAW, to effect order.

Arpaio was pardoned so he escaped punishment, the missing information here is why the conviction was thrown out:

But in the end, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton determined Wednesday that she had no choice but to validate Arpaio’s Aug. 25 pardon by President Donald Trump and throw out the finding of guilt in his criminal contempt case because he had not yet been sentenced and was not afforded an opportunity to appeal the verdict. (Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio's presidential pardon accepted by federal judge)
Preet Bharara explains how he was fired and what he thinks were the reasons. Bharara agrees to stay on as long as he could independently, apolitically and aggressively perform his duties, as the law requires. December 12 makes a highly inappropriate call to Bharara that he returns after raising concerns with DOJ. January 18 he makes another inappropriate call, neither were significant discussions. March 9 President Trump’s secretary leaves a message on Bharara’s voice mail asking him to call the President. At this point he reviews the relavant laws and calls Jeff Sessions to ask if he should refuse to return the call, Sessions agrees he should not. He calls President Trump’s secretary and politely refuses to make the call. Twenty hours latter he was asked to resign. Dana Boente (who as recently fired by Trump) calls Bharara and tells him he has been told to ask for the resignation of Bharara and all his US Attorneys.

Trump talks to Comey about the Mike Flynn, he talks to Sessions about Sheriff Joe Arpaio all of which are highly inappropriate and against DOJ guidelines. Trump also made the statement on national news that firing Comey was connected to the whole Russia thing being fake. Sure he can fire anyone in the executive branch for any reason other then the obstruction of justice. There is a reason US Attorneys and the DOJ are independent, they don't want their offices used politically which is exactly what Trump was trying to do. Our self proclaimed law and order President has major issues with law enforcement and US Attorneys but he is perfectly fine with Roy Moore seducing underage girls. He is at least consistent.

Correction:
July 2017 US District Judge CONVICTS Arpaio for refusing to stop detaining persons.

Already covered Pardon, in August 2017
Appeal opportunity irrelevant, case dismissed.

President Trump has the authority to ask for resignations, fire and appoint whom he desires, talk to people, just like any other President.

President's do not have to get your personal input on who they decide will be under the direction of their Cabinet.

but he is perfectly fine with Roy Moore seducing underage girls

You carry on as if you are an authority on the law, and who can and can not do what, then make such a outlandish false statement about the President, and apparently think yourself a judicial judge who has bench decreed Moore guilty.

:(

I don't have to be a judge to see obvious ulterior motives. Our law and order President likes firing prosecutors and law enforcement while pardoning someone found guilty of a crime. You don't have to be an authority just honestly assets the obvious.

Obviously you have honesty confused with a President's lawful powers, and a biased judgement of Trump without knowledge of a long list of Presidents who also used their lawful powers to hire and fire appointees from their own and previous administrations and pardon persons found guilty.

But no problem; slander is American's acceptable pastime.

It's not slander, unlike you I base my conclusions on actual fact, something that eludes you arguments.
