But, given what is shaping up on the foreign front and also what is before us on the domestic front - and considering his abilities, which out weigh his liabilities IMO, and considering his take charge and forthright manner - there is great potential for him to go down as one of the best.

Even during the Republican debates, he spoke on issues no other Republican candidate DARED speak of. Each one of them would've been chewed up and spit out by Hillary and her political machine.

Would be more believable except for the fact he made, can make, could make more money not being a president. Personally I find the robbery accusations offensive to my mental faculties, to sound reason, to the good ol' American "innocent until proven guilty" philosophy in the criminal justice system. Where oh where is the motivation for Donald Trump to rob our country? This is just a basic principal in the criminal justice system, establish a motive. The man has zero need for money, he is and has been one of the wealthiest people in the country for a long long long time. I can understand not liking him, I can understand envy, and all that, but let's not bear false witness. I voted for him, but I wasn't thrilled about it, but I had to consider the alternative and the choice was clear as a mountain stream.

I don't know about greatest, but one of if not the best in my lifetime. He is certainly a breath of fresh air to the "business as usual" lifetime politicians that have dominated political institutions in the United States.

Donald Trump hasn’t kept several of his promises, at least so far. For one, he said he would build a wall along the US-Mexican border. He even won the GOP nomination because he advocated this. But the wall has yet to be built. In my opinion, I don’t foresee Trump ever acting on this promise. (For the record, I don’t agree with the idea of building a wall along the southern border.)

I voted for Trump because I’m a conservative. Failing to vote for your party’s nominee, no matter how much you may disagree with some of their ideas, is basically a vote for the other party, especially if you live in a swing state. Despite voting for him, I think he wasn’t the ideal choice. He seems like showman who wanted to be president for his own ego (and no doubt his ego is the size of Jupiter). I would have preferred a constitutional conservative who is more genuine and into politics because he truly believes in conservative principles. Ted Cruz was the better choice.

Will he be remembered as a great Republican president like Ronald Reagan? I don’t think so. He’ll probably be remembered as an egotistical showman who campaigned on the promise to build a great wall but never accomplished it.

Well he wouldn't be the first, but coming from a construction background, having experienced to an extent the real life consequences of illegals in our country, I thought and still do, maybe a wall is not such a bad idea. It seems clear, to me at least, in many areas along the border (some areas across this great distance are already walled) improvement could be made to make them more secure, safer for everyone. As we know though, the building of such a wall, requires a great deal more than a presidential stamp of approval. Contracts, hundreds if not thousands of people working for years on such a daunting project. Costly? Yes, but it is a matter of financial management and negotiations. For example, rather than throw x amount of dollars into...say NASA and or specific special interest groups, the same dollars can be put to more practical use for the here and now of the American people as a whole.

I am really not into the whole sho-boating gig either, it is not a great characteristic in my honest opinion, but it is not uncommon in leaders. There were other candidates I would have preferred as well, I think Ted Cruz was one of them, but cannot remember for sure. However, it's done and over and people (have others in mind here) should learn to deal with what is and accept or at least tolerate what is.

Thinking about this more, two criticisms come to mind, first abortion clinics need to go be gone, only the slightest compromise may be necessary. Second, for the sake of the poor compromising of more and more people as the middle shrinks, increase the minimum wage already!! Good grief we're not living in 1993 people! There's this thing called "inflation" yo.
