Another thing besides the ten virgins which is often left out of the 'end times' equations, is our change to eternal bodies.

The nature of the eternal bodies is no mystery, for those who have sought and done their homework: this is shown in the transfiguration. Jesus, like we saw with Moses and Elijah (types of the "two witnesses" as Jesus used them in the Gospel of John), all had these types of bodies. And John saw the Angel of Jesus in Revelation as looking so much like Jesus transfigured, he started to bow down to worship. So, there, in Revelation, we have a very good description -- though we can note we won't all have his attributes.

(For instance, Jesus alone has the keys to death and hell, and walks among the seven spirits of God. Zechariah.)

(And, for instance, Jesus alone would have the voices of many from many nations possible. It should be noted that each of those speak as one, and each show they have become one with Christ as what happens in marriage. For they speak saying they are the alpha and omega. A difficult to realize point, but one of the few matters which can be entirely proven right now in Revelation.)

It is possible we might transfigure - another word for changing in the twinkle of an eye - more accurately, the process of transfiguration starts in the soul and is seen in the eye... it is possible we might all transfigure and stay transfigured. Though, then, where are the cover of clouds?

It is also possible that we might transfigure but have disguises of flesh, as angels have similar bodies, and disguise themselves as regular human beings. (A lot. FYI.)

So, my question to you is as the title, where do you have the change in your own map, or theoretical framework?

(Sorry for calling your theoretical framework "theoretical", as you may believe you know everything. And, it is possible you do! But, I am undecided, though always open minded.)

Tolworth John said in post #2:

We are born with earthly bodies, when we die we will be given spiritual bodies.

Regarding spiritual bodies, note that when obedient Christians' bodies will be raised/resurrected into spiritual/heavenly bodies (1 Corinthians 15:44-49), they will still be fleshly bodies, but no longer "natural" (that is, no longer mortal) fleshly bodies (1 Corinthians 15:44,53). Instead, they will be immortal fleshly bodies like Jesus Christ was raised/resurrected into on the 3rd day after His death (Luke 24:39,46; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4,21-23,51-53, Philippians 3:21, Romans 8:23-25), by the spiritual/heavenly power of God's Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11,23-25, Romans 1:4; 1 Corinthians 15:44).

--

Also, Christians need to be careful not to be deceived by the Gnostic/antichrist lie that Christ isn't in the flesh (2 John 1:7) and that Christians won't forever be in the flesh. For the Bible shows on the 3rd day after His death (Luke 24:46; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4), Jesus Christ wasn't resurrected as a disembodied spirit, but in his human, flesh and bones body (Luke 24:39, Hebrews 2:17). That's why His tomb is empty (Matthew 28:6) and He still has the wounds of the crucifixion on His resurrection body (John 20:25-29). And Luke 24:39 didn't stop being true once Jesus ascended into heaven. For He will remain forever the human mediator/high priest of Christians (1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 7:24-26), in human flesh, just like they're in human flesh (Hebrews 2:17). And when He returns, He will still have the wounds of the crucifixion on His resurrection body (Zechariah 13:6, Zechariah 12:10-14).

Gnosticism mistakenly thinks flesh is evil in itself, and only pure spirit can be good. But Jesus proves flesh isn't evil in itself, for He has been made flesh (John 1:1,14, Romans 1:3, Luke 24:39), and remains without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Genesis also proves flesh isn't evil in itself, but was created by God as something very good (Genesis 1:31). Adam and Eve were flesh, for they were the progenitors of the human race alive today. And they were immortal before they fell into sin, for it was only their falling into sin which made them become mortal (Genesis 2:17). So Adam and Eve started out as immortal flesh. And so the future resurrection (if dead) or changing (if alive) of Christians into immortal flesh bodies like Jesus has (1 Corinthians 15:21-23,51-53, Philippians 3:21, Luke 24:39, Romans 8:23-25) will be God allowing them to partake of the original, immortal-flesh condition of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before their fall into sin.

Also, beware the more-general Gnostic lie that even the entire physical universe is evil in itself, and only a purely-spiritual heaven can be good. For this lie is employed by Gnosticism to wrongly revile the Creator God YHWH as an evil, tyrant, lesser god, whom Gnosticism says created the physical universe to be the foul prison house of human spirits, whom Gnosticism says by mistake fell from bliss in a purely-spiritual heaven down into the physical universe, to become trapped in suffering, fleshly bodies. No doubt the future Antichrist will employ this lie as part of his utter reviling of YHWH (Revelation 13:6, Daniel 11:36). But Genesis shows our physical world was created by YHWH as something very good (Genesis 1:31).

And the Bible shows the whole plan of Creation wasn't that humans, who are both flesh and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Luke 24:39), would become purely-spiritual ghosts and float forever on clouds in a purely-spiritual heaven with God, but that God would become both flesh and spirit like man (John 1:1,14), and that God would ultimately come down from heaven to live with man on a future, New Earth (Revelation 21:1-4), just as God had walked on the earth in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8). Also, on the New Earth, Christians will be allowed to eat from the literal tree of life (Revelation 2:7, Revelation 22:2,14), just as Adam and Eve hadn't been forbidden to eat from it in their unfallen state (Genesis 2:9,16-17). So, with regard to Christians, God will completely undo the effect of the fall of Adam and Eve. Christians will be able to live in an earthly, physical paradise forever with God (Revelation 2:7), just as Adam and Eve and their descendants might have done had not Adam and Eve fallen into sin.

So beware the Gnostic lie. Beware the Antichrist.

Tolworth John said in post #2:

Regarding "when we die we will be given spiritual bodies", are you full-preterist?

For full preterism sometimes claims that Christians are each individually resurrected and caught up into heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) when they die. But this isn't the case. For 1 Thessalonians 4:17 will include "we which are alive and remain", as well as "them", meaning as well as all dead Christians of all times, who will all be physically resurrected at the same time, at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 1 Corinthians 15:21-23, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6), at the single moment that the last trumpet will sound (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Matthew 24:31), which won't be until immediately after the future Tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24 (Matthew 24:29-31, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6).

So just as even Jesus Christ Himself wasn't resurrected at the moment that He died, but was resurrected on the 3rd day after He died (1 Corinthians 15:4), so Christians aren't resurrected the moment that they die, but must wait to be resurrected until Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming (1 Corinthians 15:21-23; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6), which could occur near the start of the 3rd, 1,000-year period (or "day": 2 Peter 3:8) after Jesus' 1st coming: the 1st 1,000-year period being the years 1 to 1000 AD, the 2nd 1,000-year period being the years 1001 to 2000 AD, and the 3rd 1,000-year period being the years 2001 to 3000 AD.

Your eschatology is a "Fairy Tale"!

As you believe you know everything!

Take a more neutral position in whatever it is you are teaching, cause its certainly not found in my bible!

I somewhat agree, however there will be no future millennium kingdom on this earth.
At the second coming/advent this earth will be dissolved by the Lords fire in judgment.

Read what Paul wrote about earthly and spiritual bodies.
We are born with earthly bodies, when we die we will be given spiritual bodies.

'Sown perishable, risen imperishable. But not all will die.'

'We will all be changed, in a twinkle of the eye.'

'Not all will sleep...'

Many call this the rapture, and it is a rapture. Just then is when we change, seeing Jesus as He really is in His imperishable form.

That form is as Jesus showed in the transfiguration.

Maybe you mean Elijah and Moses did not have that body inside themselves until they died, though Elijah was taken up to Heaven like Enoch.

We have our spiritual bodies inside.

I have no idea what I said which you are taking issue with, as everything is in Scripture.

'We will all be changed to imperishable bodies in a twinkle of the eye. We will become perfect as the Lord is perfect.' The transfiguration account goes well into this exact manner of change.

Your verses do not say we will have flesh "like Jesus had when he rose from the grave".

But, this is the popular belief which is taught. That does not make it right.

We will have bodies as James, John, and Peter saw at the transfiguration, where they saw Elijah, Moses, and Jesus transfigured.

Note that there are at least eight Biblical reasons to read the 1,000 years (the Millennium) of Revelation 20:2-6 as not beginning until after Jesus Christ's (still unfulfilled) Second Coming in Revelation 19:7-21.

First, this is in accord with how the rest of Revelation chapters 6 to 22 are in chronological order, insofar as the future Tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 will begin with the events of the 2nd through 6th seals, occurring in the order shown in Revelation 6:3-14. After the events of the 6th seal, Revelation 7 will occur. Then the 7th seal will be unsealed and out of it will come the Tribulation's 7 trumpets (Revelation 8:1-6). Then the events of the first 6 trumpets in Revelation 8:7 to Revelation 9:21 will occur in the order shown there. Then Revelation 10 will occur. Then the literal 3.5 years of the Antichrist's worldwide reign will occur, which time period is shown from 4 different angles in Revelation chapters 11 to 14 (Revelation 11:2b-3, Revelation 12:6,14, Revelation 13:5,7, Revelation 14:9-13).

Then the 7th trumpet will sound, announcing the legal end of the Antichrist's reign (Revelation 11:15). Out of the 7th trumpet's heavenly-temple opening will come the 7 plagues of the 7 vials (Revelation 11:19, Revelation 15:5 to 16:1), the Tribulation's final stage. Then the events of the 7 vials will occur in the order shown in Revelation 16. Jesus Christ's Second Coming will occur right after the 7th-and-last vial (Revelation 16:17,19, Revelation 19:2-21), and He will rapture and marry the Church at that time (Revelation 19:7). Then He will completely defeat the world's armies (Revelation 19:11 to 20:3), and reign on the earth with the physically resurrected Church for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Then the events of Revelation 20:7 to Revelation 22:5 will occur in the order shown there.

-

Second, the 1,000 years in Revelation 20:2-6 are when Satan will be literally bound with a chain, and cast into and locked within the literal Bottomless Pit, whereas currently he is walking about freely on the earth seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). So the 1,000 years can't have started yet. But their beginning after Jesus' Second Coming makes perfect sense (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6).

Third, during the 1,000 years, Satan won't be able to deceive the world (Revelation 20:3), whereas currently he is able to deceive the world (2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Corinthians 11:3,14-15; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10, Revelation 12:9, Revelation 13:14, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:10). So the 1,000 years can't have started yet.

Fourth, the defeat of Satan in Revelation 20:1-3 is in chronological accord with the immediately preceding defeat of the future Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of Revelation's "beast"), and his False Prophet, and the unsaved armies of the world, at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming (Revelation 19:19-21). Indeed, there is no chapter break between Revelation 19 and Revelation 20 in the original Greek manuscripts, so Revelation 19:19 to 20:3 can be taken together as a unit, showing how every power of evil will be defeated at Jesus' Second Coming.

Fifth, reading Revelation 20:4-6 as Jesus Christ and the bodily resurrected Church reigning first on the present earth (not the New Earth) after His future, Second Coming (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6) matches Jesus reigning first on the present earth (not the New Earth) after His Second Coming in Zechariah 14:3-21. For Zechariah 14:8-21 can't be referring to the New Earth (of Revelation 21:1-3), because Zechariah 14:8-21 refers to a temple building in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:20-21), whereas there will be no temple building in New Jerusalem on the New Earth (Revelation 21:22). Also, Zechariah 14:8-21 can't be referring to the New Earth, because it refers to surviving non-Christians from the present earth being forced to come up to worship the returned Jesus in Jerusalem during the Millennium (Zechariah 14:16-19), whereas by the time of the New Earth, all non-Christians from the present earth will have been cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15 to 21:8).

Sixth, reading the 1st resurrection in Revelation 20:4-6 as the physical resurrection of the Church at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6) matches other verses which show that the physical resurrection of the Church will occur at the Second Coming (1 Corinthians 15:21-23,51-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16).

Seventh, reading the 1st resurrection in Revelation 20:4-6 as the physical resurrection of the Church at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming is in line with Revelation 20:5, which must refer in its entirety only to physical resurrection. For not every dead person is going to be figuratively resurrected in the sense of becoming saved (Revelation 20:15). And Revelation 20:5 means that the rest of the dead (that is, all the non-Church dead of all times) will be resurrected in the same manner that the Church will be resurrected in Revelation 20:4-6, but the rest of the dead won't be resurrected until sometime after the 1,000 years.

Eighth, reading the 1st resurrection in Revelation 20:4-6 as the physical resurrection of the Church at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming is in line with Revelation 20:4, which shows that the people in the 1st resurrection will include those in the Church who will have been beheaded by the Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of Revelation's "beast") for not worshipping him or his image, or receiving his mark on their hand or forehead. This refers back to the details of Revelation 13:4-18, which have never been fulfilled. So the 1st resurrection can't have happened yet. But its occurring at Jesus' Second Coming, when He will defeat the Antichrist, makes perfect sense (Revelation 19:20 to 20:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-9).

Truth7t7 said in post #5:

At the second coming/advent this earth will be dissolved by the Lords fire in judgment.

2 Peter 3:10-13 . . .

Regarding 2 Peter 3:10-13, in the Day of the Lord will occur the destruction of heaven (the 1st heaven: the sky/atmosphere) and the earth (its surface) at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11, Revelation 21:1). And this will be followed by the creation of a new atmosphere and surface for the earth (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1) onto which the literal city of New Jerusalem, God the Father's house (John 14:2, Revelation 21:2-3), will descend from the 3rd heaven (Revelation 21:2-3).

But the Day of the Lord won't immediately bring the destruction of the earth's atmosphere and surface. For the Day of the Lord will begin at Jesus' Christ's future, Second Coming (1 Corinthians 1:7-8) as a thief (2 Peter 3:10a, Revelation 16:15). And after His Second Coming, He will establish His Kingdom physically on the earth with the physically resurrected Church for 1,000 years (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29, Psalms 66:3-4, Psalms 72:8-11, Zechariah 14:3-21).

And after the 1,000 years, the Gog/Magog rebellion will occur (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39). And after its defeat, at least 7 years will occur (Ezekiel 39:9b) before the earth's atmosphere and surface are destroyed at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11). All these events, from Jesus' Second Coming to the Great White Throne Judgment, will be part of the Day of the Lord. For it's not a 24-hour day, but to God is like a 1,000-year "day" (2 Peter 3:8).

Truth7t7 said in post #5:

. . . 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 . . .

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 refers to Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming, which will occur before the future Millennium (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6, Zechariah 14:3-21). Note 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 doesn't say "all" non-Christians will be killed by Jesus at His Second Coming, for some will be left alive (Matthew 24:39b-40) and they will enter the Millennium (Zechariah 14:16-19). Also, the "vengeance" and "everlasting destruction" at the Second Coming (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9) won't be the lake of fire for everyone killed, just as "the vengeance of eternal fire" which came upon Sodom and Gomorrah (Jude 1:7) wasn't the lake of fire for those killed. For only the future Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of Revelation's "beast") and his False Prophet will be cast into the lake of fire at Jesus' Second Coming (Revelation 19:20). Other non-Christians won't be cast into the lake of fire until after they've been physically resurrected and judged at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). Between the Second Coming (Revelation 19:7 to 20:3) and the Great White Throne Judgment will occur the Millennium (Revelation 20:4-6) and the subsequent Gog/Magog rebellion (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39).

. . . Luke 17:29-30 . . .

Luke 17:27,29 and Matthew 24:39 don't mean all non-Christians will be killed by Jesus Christ at His future, Second Coming. For Luke 17:34-36 and Matthew 24:40-41 go on to show some non-Christians will be left alive at that time (Zechariah 14:16-19). So in Luke 17:26-30 and Matthew 24:37-39 the point of the comparison isn't that all non-Christians will be killed by Jesus at His Second Coming, but that none of them will be expecting to be killed, but will be eating and drinking without worry right up to the day of the Second Coming.

Those "left" where they are at Jesus' Second Coming (Luke 17:34-36, Matthew 24:40-41) will include non-Christians who will be forced to come up annually to worship the returned Jesus in Jerusalem during the future Millennium (Zechariah 14:16-19). These non-Christians will have to be ruled with a rod of iron by Jesus and the physically resurrected Church during the Millennium (Revelation 2:26-29, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 20:4-6, Psalms 2, Psalms 66:3, Psalms 72:8-11). And their descendants will be deceived by Satan after the Millennium into committing the Gog/Magog rebellion (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39).

Jesus' Second Coming will be like "the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37) and "the days of Lot" (Luke 17:28,30) in that just as Noah went into the ark before the temporal (not the eternal) judgment of the Flood, and Lot went out from Sodom before its temporal (not its eternal) judgment (cf. Ezekiel 16:53-56), so the Church will be raptured into the sky at the Second Coming (Matthew 24:30-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelation 19:7) before Jesus Himself begins the Second-Coming, temporal (not the eternal) judgment of non-Christians alive at that time (Revelation 19:11 to 20:3, Luke 17:26-30, Matthew 24:37-39).

Regarding the final judgment of non-Christians, at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming, only the Church will be physically resurrected and finally-judged (1 Corinthians 15:21-23, Revelation 20:5; Psalms 50:3-5, cf. Mark 13:27; Matthew 25:19-30; 2 Corinthians 5:10, Luke 12:45-48). The obedient part of the Church, including those in the Church who had been beheaded by the future Antichrist, will then reign on the earth with Jesus for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29, Psalms 66:3-4, Psalms 72:8-11, Zechariah 14:3-21). Only sometime after the 1,000 years and the subsequent Gog/Magog rebellion (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39) will the rest of the dead (of all times) be physically resurrected (Revelation 20:5) and finally-judged at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15).

. . . Malachi 3:2 . . .

This means no one will be left standing on the earth at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming, in the sense everyone will probably fall on their knees or faces in overwhelming awe at the glory of His appearance in the sky (Matthew 24:30). But some non-Christians will be left alive on the earth at that time (Matthew 24:39b-40, Zechariah 14:16-19). Also, Malachi 3:3-4 refers to all the non-Christian, elect genetic Jews who will become Christians (Romans 11:25-32) when they see the returned Jesus Christ in person and believe in Him (Zechariah 12:10-14). And so they will all become part of the Church at that time, just as when genetic Jews believe in Jesus now they become part of the Church (1 Corinthians 12:13), for there are no Christians outside of the Church (Ephesians 4:4-5). Also, all the genetic Jews and Gentiles who became Christians before Jesus' Second Coming will endure it. For the rapture and marriage of the Church of all times will occur at the Second Coming (Matthew 24:30-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6).

. . . Isaiah 24:20 . . .

Isaiah 24 could happen at Jesus Christ's future, Second Coming. For the events of "that day" in Isaiah 24:21-22 match the Second Coming events of Revelation 19:19 to 20:3. And the events of Isaiah 24:23 match the post-tribulation, Second Coming events of Matthew 24:29-30, and the subsequent Millennial reign of Jesus on the earth in Revelation 20:4-6 and Micah 4:1-4.

Truth7t7 said in post #5:

. . . 1 Corinthians 3:13 . . .

See the last paragraph of the comments regarding Luke 17:29 above.

Also, regarding "the day" part of 1 Corinthians 3:13, compare John 6:39-40 and John 12:48, where, as in 1 Corinthians 3:13, the original Greek word (G2250) translated as the last "day" doesn't have to mean the last 24-hour day, but can refer figuratively to a much longer period of time (e.g. see the Greek of 2 Corinthians 6:2; 2 Peter 3:8 and John 8:56). John 6:39-48 and John 12:48 will occur in the last period of time of this present earth, but they won't occur on the same 24-hour day (Revelation 20:5).

The "last days" began in the 1st century AD with Jesus Christ's 1st coming (Hebrews 1:2) and the Holy Spirit's pouring out at the Pentecost in Acts 2 (Acts 2:16-17). The last days can be the last 3, roughly 1,000-year "days" (2 Peter 3:8) of the 7, roughly 1,000-year "days" from the creation of Adam in roughly 4,000 BC to the future end of the present earth and the creation of the New Earth (Revelation 21:1) in roughly 3,000 AD. So the last "days" can be the roughly 3,000 years from Jesus' 1st coming to sometime after the future Millennium (of Revelation 20:4-6), which Millennium will be part of the last, roughly 1,000-year "day" (2 Peter 3:8), which could begin at Jesus' future, Second Coming (1 Corinthians 1:7-8).

Your verses do not say we will have flesh "like Jesus had when he rose from the grave".

That's what 1 Corinthians 15:21-23,51-53, Philippians 3:21, Luke 24:39, and Romans 8:23-25 mean. For Jesus was not resurrected into a mortal body.

DreamerOfTheHeart said in post #8:

We will have bodies as James, John, and Peter saw at the transfiguration, where they saw Elijah, Moses, and Jesus transfigured.

Note that nothing about transfiguration requires non-physicality.

Also, Elijah never died, but was taken physically into heaven (2 Kings 2:11b). And the archangel Michael retrieved Moses' dead body from Satan (Jude 1:9). Michael could have then taken Moses' recently-dead body into heaven, where it could have been resuscitated by God back to mortal life, like how, for example, Lazarus' recently-dead body was resuscitated by God back to mortal life (John 12:1). This would explain how both Moses and Elijah could be alive at the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:3).

Also, in the never-fulfilled Revelation 11:3-12, the Two Witnesses could be literally Moses and Elijah. For the 2 men seen "standing before the God of the earth" (Revelation 11:4) at the Transfiguration were Moses and Elijah (Matthew 17:3). And in Revelation 11:4 the 2 "olive trees" refer back to the 2 men who were already standing by the Lord by the time of the prophet Zechariah (Zechariah 4:11,14), which was subsequent to the times of Moses and Elijah.

Moses and Elijah could come down from heaven in their mortal bodies at the midpoint of the future Tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24, just as they came down at the Transfiguration. Also, the plagues that the Two Witnesses will cause (Revelation 11:6,5) will match plagues which Moses and Elijah caused in Old Testament times (James 5:17, Exodus 7:20; 2 Kings 1:10-14).

The Two Witnesses will prophesy and bring plagues on the world during the literal 3.5 years (Revelation 11:2b-3,6) of the future Antichrist's worldwide reign (Revelation 13:5,7, Revelation 12:6,14), which will be in the latter half of the future Tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24. That's why the Antichrist's reign will legally end (Revelation 11:15) right after the time of the Two Witnesses on the earth will end (Revelation 11:12-15). The plagues they will bring (Revelation 11:6) will be part of the Tribulation's 2nd woe/6th trumpet (Revelation 11:14, Revelation 9:12-13). The Two Witnesses will be taken physically up to heaven before the Tribulation's 7th trumpet sounds (Revelation 11:12,15).

They may not be witnesses in the sense of evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8). For the original Greek word (martus: G3144) translated as "witnesses" (Revelation 11:3) can also refer to those who witness against people and bring punishment against them (Acts 7:58). The reason there will be 2 witnesses (Revelation 11:3) who will bring plagues to torment the unrepentant world (Revelation 11:6,10b) would be because 2 witnesses are required to bring judgment against people (1 Timothy 5:19). At the same time, the 2 "witnesses" could be called that because both of them will be martyred (Revelation 11:7-9). For the same original Greek word translated as "witnesses" (Revelation 11:3) can refer to "martyrs" (Revelation 17:6).

There will be a future glorified, tangible, eternal physical body of flesh and bone, exactly as Jesus had.

Then the literal 3.5 years of the Antichrist's worldwide reign will occur, which time period is shown from 4 diffrent angles in Revelation chapters 11 to 14 (Revelation 11:2b-3, Revelation 12:6,14, Revelation 13:5,7, Revelation 14:9-13).

See the comments regarding 2 Peter 3:10-13 above.

And the events of Isaiah 24:23 match the post-tribulation, Second Coming events of Matthew 24:29-30, and the subsequent Millennial reign of Jesus on the earth in Revelation 20:4-6 and Micah 4:1-4.

At the return of Jesus Christ this existing earth will be dissolved by the Lords fire in Judgment, then the New Heaven and Earth are revealed for eternity, in the twinklig of an eye.
