Chinese authorities have granted preliminary approval for dozens of Trump-branded businesses, expanding his commercial empire and raising further conflicts of interest, say lawyers.

The 38 trademarks include new hotels, spas, escort and concierge services, massage parlors, personal security services and insurance, according to public documents.

The President’s lawyers applied for the trademarks in April last year, at the same time the then Presidential candidate Trump was accusing China of "ripping off" the US and deliberately manipulating its currency to its own advantage.

Hi tulc,

You know, he made a statement about his trip saying something akin to his visit to the middle east where he claimed to have secured billions of dollars in contracts. I don't remember the exact quote but it was something along the lines that he had made some great deals for America while he was in Asia. I wondered at the time what he might be referring to and no one seemed to pick up on it. Now I see what he was talking about.

ISIS were amateurs. Only thing they needed to do to get US to withdraw from Middle East would have been to arrange a terror campaign against Trump financial empire.

I get it. Look, there may be a few things he's done that are good, but better...? I get it that you are enamored by the man's imposing figure and tough talk and take no prisoner nature, but so far, I don't see that such a method has really done anything better for the American people. We'll see.

I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to derail Trump for supporting “happy ending” massage parlors.

I’m 28 years old, but I’ve never had a girlfriend or been in a real relationship with a woman. For this reason, I always go to those Asian massage places at least once a month. They provide an invaluable service to guys like me. In fact, there’s one right across the street from where I live.

Elliot Rodger, a socially awkward weirdo, went on a shooting spree in 2014 because he was mad at the world, namely due to the fact that he was too inept to acquire a girlfriend. Had prostitution been legal in California, six people’s lives could have been spared because there wouldn’t be any lonely men who get homicidal due to their inability to be intimate with a woman.

Do you really want such a tragedy to happen time and again? Then don’t make critical remarks against businessmen who support legal transactions between consenting adults.
