Are there any Christians that don't believe in Creationism out there?

But, everything that will happen has already happened. Time helps us to experience moments independently. It is for our convenience.

You would really like the book Slaughterhouse Five, if you haven't already read it before.

Good afternoon sisters and brothers, gentlemen and gentler women (to borrow from Sparrow),

I have a question, and before I waste all my time browsing for answers, I'll just put it in the room:

Are there any Christians out there, other than those living in Europe, that do not believe in Creationism or ID? Because I'm beginning to feel a little lost.

Thanks.

A LOT of them. They think evolution and Gospel is able to coexist.

They are. It's evolution and a literal interpretation of Genesis which are not able to coexist.

Not according to your interpretation, you should say, since God's Truth in Genesis agrees in every way with EVERY discovery of mankind IF you have the proper interpretation. Perhaps your confusion is caused by the twisting of the meanings of words which Darwhinists routinely practice. ie. calling descent with modifications within kinds over time within a population "evolution" in a vain attempt to eliminate God from His Own Creation. Amen?

Yes, my question was posted wrong. My apologies. As mentioned earlier, I'm looking for legitimate Christian teachers or teaching ministries that do not get involved with this pseudo-science of Creationism or ID.
Southern Baptists are not fooled by the lie of evolution.

I'm just a bit baffled at why it seems so terribly important to some Christians to constantly attack (and misrepresent) the sciences.
Evolution is not science. Intelligent people do not use the words interchangeably. Evolution is a theory of origins that biologists and others use to better help them understand the world we live in. It follows natural law. Creation follows God's law. Christ told us that the words of Moses were true and accurate, and that we should live by every word that comes from the mouth of God. We know from Genesis that God created the world in six days in its mature form, teeming with life; not from any single cell. We know that by one man sin and death come into the world, by one family life on earth was replenished, and by one savior mankind can find salvation. This is what is important to many of us.

So why is it a lie--an intentional falsehood--and not just wrong?

The word "lie" is frequently used because it attacks not only the idea but the person that holds that idea. It is a clever form of ad hominem attack that is frequently employed by people who do not really understand what they are attacking.

It's an intentional falsehood created by the great deceiver who blinds the eyes of man and confuses his intellect until he only believes what can be seen, touched, heard, felt or smelled. We live in a a physical world where principalities vie for the souls of man. Our finite minds have difficulty grasping the greater truth of our eternal existence and so we simply say "We don't believe it." We close our eyes to the things that disturb and scare us; to the presence of evil and of goodness. We look for answers in the rocks and not in the Creator of the rocks; in the biology of what is and not in the greater wonder of why it is... and why we are.

As opposed to what he is told?

We live in a a physical world where principalities vie for the souls of man. Our finite minds have difficulty grasping the greater truth of our eternal existence and so we simply say "We don't believe it."

If this is so, then (and no offense intended) your own finite mind seems to be grasping it quite nicely. Clearly there's more to it than that.

We close our eyes to the things that disturb and scare us; to the presence of evil and of goodness.

And to the truths behind the myths.

We look for answers in the rocks and not in the Creator of the rocks; in the biology of what is and not in the greater wonder of why it is... and why we are.

That's the thing about "wonder" -- it invariably leads to curiosity. We see the great mystery, and we eel the need to try and solve it.

And why not try?

Long, long before men wrote the Bible the story of how our world came to be was written in the stones and the bones and in the stars. This is the first and most reliable "word of God". It is also known as reality and we ignore it at our peril.

1. "Men" did not write the Bible. According to Christ, it is the breathed word of God, and man is to live by EVERY WORD of it. You might note that Christ rebuked the devil by quoting Scripture, not by discussing geophysics.
2. Stones, bones and stars have no ability to compose documents. The only thing written on stones was written by humans.
3. What WAS written in stone was the Fourth Commandment, which was carved in stone by God on Mt, Sinai. It states: "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. "
4. Reality is the sum total of all existence; natural and supernatural. Denying the supernatural is denying reality. Denying God's Authority over His creation does not in any way praise the glory of the Lord. Teaching contrary to the word of God is not promoting the word of God.
5. What we do at our peril is to commit sin. Sin separates us from God. Christ can take away sin and bring us closer to God.

I accept ANY interpretation that AGREES with Scripture, Science and History. Is that too high a standard for you? Anything less is a half truth subject to change. ie. ToE

Is there ANY such interpretation that you yourself did not come up with?

Unless you are far older than you seem to be, you might note that it is only through "men" that you have any idea whatsoever regarding what Christ may or may not have said or did.

The original version of the ten commandments is found in Exodus 34. In it the fourth commandment reads:

19 “The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, including all the firstborn males of your livestock, whether from herd or flock. 20 Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck.

Interestingly enough this version is the only one of the three versions to self identify as "the ten commandments".

So what is the goal of this great deceiver? Is it so important to deceive a Protestant minority that it requires a vast, worldwide conspiracy which leaves the rest of Christendom secure in their salvation in Christ? What good is a conspiracy to steal souls which only targets Southern Baptists (and other biblical literalists)?

And Ex 20:11 isn't even part of the "written in stone" version KW is referring to. It is clearly a parenthetical insertion by the transcriber.

The original version of the ten commandments is found in Exodus 34. In it the fourth commandment reads:
Not true.
"The Lord said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

I can't think of any reason you would call them the original version. It's quite obviously not the truth.
