I completely agree with this. Celebrating Halloween could open doors that you absolutely want to remain closed.

Everything is clean to someone who is strong in faith. But I think celebrating Halloween is just causing a stumbling block for everyone who isn't strong in faith. It could be very dangerous.

Yep that's true. I have a friend who is a super strong Christian, I've known him for about 4 years now, and he goes out and dresses up for Halloween and goes to all the parties and stuff. At first I kind of thought he was being a little hypocritical but now I realize he is strong enough in faith to where it doesn't affect him. To the pure all things are pure.

I think I'm strong enough in faith in many things, but Halloween wouldn't be one of them. I used to be afraid of so much, and it did affect me in bad ways, so I've learnt how it affects someone with weak faith.

It's all a matter of being led by God, and if someone with strong faith can go to parties without stumbling, then I think it's okay, as long as it doesn't become a stumbling block to someone else, who ends up thinking it's harmless to celebrate darkness, instead of being a light in it. I think we should absolutely set boundaries, so we don't mix the traditions and let paganism into the Church.

I don't believe that the veil is thinner or whatever during Halloween, but I think that with everyone celebrating the devil, that opens doors that he can use.

I have never really considered Halloween but I hate it. It seems all utterly wrong to me. All about darkness, death and unwholesome things. I have nothing to do with it. It's like most people just accept it and go along with it like sleepwalkers! Yet it is about evil.

Yeah I don't know, even the church that I I am interested in celebrates Halloween. It is a satanic holiday, there's no question about it, however what can you do about the entire country celebrating it? I know most people won't listen to me, but somebody has to stand up for the truth

Someone who has had their faith strengthened through the trials in life, and who knows the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, who walks in faith not in sight, in the Spirit not in the flesh. Those who have overcome the world, by trusting in the World and having had their eyes opened by the Lord.
Someone who has learned how to walk in love, not in fear, and who is constantly seeking the Lord's will and His Kingdom. Someone who shows humility and the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

What is a Christian? Someone who believes in Christ Jesus come in the flesh, being the Son of God, and who has made Him their Lord and Savior. What then is a strong Christian? Someone who has stronger faith in Him than others, because the Lord has given them stronger faith.

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. And Romans 14

No one is talking about the ones Paul defined as super apostles, who were only seeking their own pride, and to look strong in the eyes of others, preaching the Gospel for their own sake, and not to bring the knowledge of Christ to the world.
A strong Christian is one who has accepted their own weaknesses, like Paul, and when you look at them, you see Christ, because they are very, very close to Him. They are good at carrying others instead of seeking themselves, because they have learned from Christ, and they rely on Him in everything. And they aren't moved by trials and hardship, but through Christ they keep pressing on, because they live for eternity and not for today.

You are very, very wrong.

"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." Ephesians 6:10

"The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,

The Bible is clear. The LORD makes us stronger, when we surrender to Him, but it's not by might or by power, but by His Spirit.

Do you know what Luke 10:18-20 means? Have you asked God to reveal that to you?

And "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12

Now, if you have scripture to support your statement, I would love to see them. Both to support the statement that there are no strong Christians, and where it says that only God is strong, and that we aren't strong even with Him in us. Because inside us the Spirit of the LORD, the same Spirit that He used to form Creation, and to perform all of the miracles in the Old Testament, both by Himself and through His people. And He has given us His Spirit, so we will overcome the world through Christ, and this is not a minor thing.
