Everything is clean to someone who is strong in faith. But I think celebrating Halloween is just causing a stumbling block for everyone who isn't strong in faith. It could be very dangerous.
I think I'm strong enough in faith in many things, but Halloween wouldn't be one of them. I used to be afraid of so much, and it did affect me in bad ways, so I've learnt how it affects someone with weak faith.Yep that's true. I have a friend who is a super strong Christian, I've known him for about 4 years now, and he goes out and dresses up for Halloween and goes to all the parties and stuff. At first I kind of thought he was being a little hypocritical but now I realize he is strong enough in faith to where it doesn't affect him. To the pure all things are pure.
Your source says he's a pastor - what church does he pastor?
I completely agree with this. Celebrating Halloween could open doors that you absolutely want to remain closed.
1 Corinthians 10:20-21
"No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons."

who is a super strong Christian
Why should anyone celebrate a feast they don't believe in? The scriptures says:
-My people are being killed, because of the lack of knowledge-.
Sometimes we are just going along with the fashion or celebrations, which we don't even know the meaning of. At times we are being deceived, because we don't know better. What is this halloween all about? It has been introduced in the US by the catholics, I've learned. But I don't really know what's is all about. So if you know please explain me. Thanks in advance for your time of explanation.
Now that puzzles me. If he is a strong Christian, he certainly wouldn't have anything to do with this festival of darkness. There is something wrong there surely?
We are children of light, life, through Jesus. I am sure Halloween is at best misguided, at worst opening up channels to the darkest spirits.
There is no such thing as a "super strong Christian".
Halloween was started by the Druid family, jack-o'-lanterns were originally designed to be human heads carved out and a candle put inside, the heads of people that they sacrificed to satan. I don't really want to talk about what else they do, the history of Halloween and how it started is really gross and disturbing. If you really want to know more than Google "history of Halloween Druids"
In my experience no that is not true. I have slowly grown in my repentance, knowledge, and faith. I feel that some are stronger in their walk than others
Brinny, no offense, but you seem confused. No one is talking about super Christians, Bo only said super strong Christians.Re: "super Christians", a word of caution. Here is a bottom line of being in unity with God, and that is what we are striving for, amen? We are not to quench the Holy Spirit:
"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." ~Pr 3:7

A strong Christian is one who is strong in Christ. One who is strong in faith, relying not on the strength of the flesh, but is relying on Christ through everything. Someone who has had their faith strengthened through the trials in life, and who knows the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, who walks in faith not in sight, in the Spirit not in the flesh. Those who have overcome the world, by trusting in the World and having had their eyes opened by the Lord.
Someone who has learned how to walk in love, not in fear, and who is constantly seeking the Lord's will and His Kingdom. Someone who shows humility and the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
What is a Christian? Someone who believes in Christ Jesus come in the flesh, being the Son of God, and who has made Him their Lord and Savior. What then is a strong Christian? Someone who has stronger faith in Him than others, because the Lord has given them stronger faith.
Philippians 4:13
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
1 Corinthians 12:9-10
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
And Romans 14
No one is talking about the ones Paul defined as super apostles, who were only seeking their own pride, and to look strong in the eyes of others, preaching the Gospel for their own sake, and not to bring the knowledge of Christ to the world.
A strong Christian is one who has accepted their own weaknesses, like Paul, and when you look at them, you see Christ, because they are very, very close to Him. They are good at carrying others instead of seeking themselves, because they have learned from Christ, and they rely on Him in everything. And they aren't moved by trials and hardship, but through Christ they keep pressing on, because they live for eternity and not for today.
I hope that clear things up for you.
You are very, very wrong. There is nothing confusing about this:
Only GOD is strong.
Not us.
This is a very subtle deception and it takes our focus off of God and puts it on "us".
That is the enemy's intention from the gitgo. Always has been.
Your opinion is noted.
