Just? It has been reported for nearly a year that Republicans, Democrats and the FBI all funded this research. No idea how finding out a few extra details means much of anything - and given how many of my questions have gone unanswered, I'm not sure the people making a big deal of it do either.

Yes $9 million to be exact.

However, given the content of the dossier, such was never to come back and 'stick' to the DNC nor Clinton campaigns. The whole purpose of campaign research is to snooker some pol or journalist into reporting what you found but from a detached source.

Now knowing the DNC and HRC campaigns funded the dossier changes the dynamics of a political party and presidential campaign using campaign monies to fabricate information which was used to open FBI investigations. It stinks and now has blown up in their faces.
