This protest is bringing good discussion and debate to the issue. Hollywood takes a knee:

The case has been tried. It was self defense. Martin attacked the wrong man.
Yes cause no court has ever been ever wrong before :doh:Just cause there is a lack of evidence to convict someone does not mean that person's story is true or false. You said it was "indisputable" as I have shown that is far from the truth. The police has already said that this was very preventable if Martin would of handled things differently. Also as I have already proven by a previous post Martin has made many racist remarks before. Was this self defense or murder? We will never know as the evidence was not preserved and not handled correctly. It very well could of been self defense but you and I do not know as I can show evidence that can go both ways.

The truth is Martin handled things wrong that day as a responsible gun owner can tell you you don't go looking for trouble and you keep distance between the one in question. But ignoring police advice to stay in his car and not follow him is what led to this shooting.

Trayvon Martin Case Shadowed by Series of Police Missteps

Trayvon Martin was followed by 'creepy' man, witness tells murder trial

Police had this to say about the incident:

"The encounter between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was ultimately avoidable by Zimmerman, if Zimmerman had remained in his vehicle and awaited the arrival of law enforcement, or conversely if he had identified himself to Martin as a concerned citizen and initiated dialog (sic) in an effort to dispel each party's concern" the request said. "There is no indication that Trayvon Martin was involved in any criminal activity."

1. CNN is not a credible news source.
2. Felonious assault is a criminal activity.
3. Anyone attacked by any thug of any race has the right to use force to protect himself.
4. If Zimmerman had been black he would never have even been arrested.

4. If Zimmerman had been black he would never have even been arrested.

1. Yes of course anything that disagrees with you is not credible.
2. Since there was not enough evidence to say who started the fight that is just your opinion. If you want me to go through all the details I can. But of course you will say it's all fake news such as CNN, PBS, New York Times, and Fox News. As you have done repeatedly on this thread.
3. Another opinion as there is not enough evidence to say who was attacked first. All we know is what Zimmerman said. But the evidence does not back up his claims. But then again the lack of evidence does not mean it didn't happen as why they could not convict him nor say without a shadow of a doubt it happened the way Zimmerman said it did.
4. That's the 3rd opinion you gave without anything backing up your claims. Usually it's the blacks that are targeted and arrested for nothing as you can see sources on the first post on this page. Anytime you take someone's life you have a good chance of ending up in court just common sense.

1. Yes of course anything that disagrees with you is not credible.
When the corrupt media decided to give the Clintons a pass on every crime they chose to commit and fabricated stories about George W. Bush, they ceased to be news organizations and became a liberal propaganda machine. They have no credibility whatever.
2. Since there was not enough evidence to say who started the fight that is just your opinion.
You weren't on the jury. Your opinion doesn't matter.

Since you weren't on the planet at the time, I'll help you with the facts. From the beginning it was obviously a case of self-defense. The corrupt media deliberately altered the 911 call to make it sound like Zimmerman was NOT specifically asked the race of the suspicious person he was watching. The liars in the media tried to make it sound like a white guy killed a young boy because he was black. Zimmerman is Hispanic and was defending himself.

The liars in the media tried to make it sound like a white guy killed a young boy because he was black. Zimmerman is Hispanic and was defending himself.

You were not on the jury either. So let's deal with the facts from the people who were there.

1. DNA was not on the gun. The reason why they searched the gun was cause Zimmerman said they were fighting over the gun but no DNA was found. According to Zimmerman, Martin grabbed his gun. Yet no DNA. Link below:

Martin's DNA Not on Zimmerman's Gun

2. No DNA under Zimmerman's fingernails. This is important in any fight or struggle that ends in a life as it can show a lot. Plus it is useful in rape cases as well. But there was no DNA under Zimmerman's fingernails either.

No Zimmerman DNA under Martin's fingernails: Expert witness

3. The vehicle Zimmerman was driving was not held for evidence as is standard for an investigation. Also the body and the evidence was not secured which according to professionals say that valuable evidence was washed away with the rain. When a possible murder happens you want to protect the body from rain or natural elements to protect evidence. This did not happen.

Trayvon Martin Case Shadowed by Series of Police Missteps

4. A witness who claims to been on the phone with Martin said he was being hunted down by a "creepy man".

Trayvon Martin was followed by 'creepy' man, witness tells murder trial

5. Police claimed this about Zimmerman: "His actions are inconsistent with those of a person who has stated he was in fear of another subject,” an investigator wrote in an early report on the Feb. 26 shooting. “Investigative findings show that George Michael Zimmerman had at least two opportunities to speak with Trayvon Benjamin Martin in order to defuse the circumstances,” and Zimmerman twice “failed to identify himself as a concerned resident or a neighborhood watch member.”

Latest Evidence Reveals Police Doubting George Zimmerman's Claims

Now let's see what about his character as that is huge in any honest case.

1. His own wife has doubts of his innocence. As she admits she does not know the man she was married to.

George Zimmerman's wife has doubts about his innocence - CNN

2. He was kicked out of a bar for making racist remarks and told the bar waitress " I didn't think you were (N word) lover.

George Zimmerman kicked out of bar after using racial slurs

3. After Zimmerman was kicked out of a bar after using racist remarks the police arrived and he told the police that he was was attacked by a black man. Sound familiar?

As for the possible battery, cops say George claimed a man had hit him on the shoulder multiple times, but surveillance video showed it was just a friendly pat. The bar manager said they've had repeated issues with Zimmerman and banned him from returning.

Funny how when there is a surveillance video it does not back him up. I wonder what it would of showed moments before he took someone's life don't you?

George Zimmerman kicked out of bar after using racial slur, claiming black man hit him: deputies

4. Days after retweeting an image of Trayvon Martin's corpse, Zimmerman went on a depraved Twitter tirade Monday afternoon, spewing racist rants and boasting about "mocking all you trolls."

Why would he post a picture of a dead person he shot? Cause he is proud of it. Just like Zimmerman also auctioned off the gun he used to kill with. Pride at its finest.

George Zimmerman rants after retweeting Trayvon death pic

George Zimmerman auction for gun that killed Trayvon Martin ends - CNN

5. 2015 after he posted semi-nude photographs of his ex-girlfriend. In the captions, he included her personal email address and telephone number and accused her of having sex with a "dirty Muslim."

What is he doing now? He teamed up with Florida Gun Supply — a gun store that had publicly declared itself a "Muslim-free zone"

George Zimmerman’s many, many controversies since the Trayvon Martin case

Last two questions that many have about the case besides the facts do not go in Zimmerman's favor are:

1. He is instructed not to get out of his SUV or approach the person. Zimmerman disregards the instructions. Why?

Trayvon Martin Shooting Fast Facts - CNN

2. Why all the inconsistencies with his story of events?

In Closing, Zimmerman Prosecutor Focuses on Inconsistencies

The truth is we will never know. But the evidence do not back up Zimmerman's story but they also do not convict him. Cause a lack of evidence does not mean that the accounts of Zimmerman is true or not. So it is far from "indisputable" as you claimed.

In light of the NFL protest and some who say that there is no racism in our police force here is from a officer:

So in 1994, I joined the St. Louis Police Department. I quickly realized how naive I’d been. I was floored by the dysfunctional culture I encountered.

I won’t say all, but many of my peers were deeply racist.

One example: A couple of officers ran a Web site called St. Louis Coptalk, where officers could post about their experience and opinions. At some point during my career, it became so full of racist rants that the site administrator temporarily shut it down. Cops routinely called anyone of color a “thug,” whether they were the victim or just a bystander.

For the full story please click on the link below :

Being a cop showed me just how racist and violent the police are. There’s only one fix.

This is a very real trend in our police department's. Here is about racism in the SF police department:

The messages were discovered during a recent internal affairs investigation and add to a growing list of racist emails and texts traded among department officers. Already, the racist communications have resulted in the dismissal of 13 pending criminal cases.

More racist text messages uncovered among San Francisco police officers

Here’s a new one: Papa John’s declining pizza sales apparently aren’t the result of Americans looking to eat healthier, or the rise of on-demand food competition like Uber Eats, or too many options for eating out, or just simple dissatisfaction with the pies that Papa John’s itself puts out. No, if you believe the pizza chain’s founder John Schnatter, the reason for Papa John’s declining sales is … the NFLprotests and commissioner Roger Goodell‘s leadership.

“The NFL has hurt us by not resolving the current debacle to the players’ and owners’ satisfaction,” Schnatter said on a conference call announcing third-quarter earnings. “NFL leadership has hurt Papa John’s shareholders.”

Papa John's blames NFL protests for declining pizza sales

So what does Pizza Hut have to say:

Pizza Hut said Wednesday that the NFL kneeling protests are not affecting sales, the day after competitor Papa John's claimed that its low sales are a result of declining league viewership.

"It’s never been about the military. It’s never been about the flag,” Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, who has raised a fist during the playing of the anthem since last season, told USA TODAY Sports when asked about the ongoing protests. “Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can continue to protest and draw awareness to social injustices while still honoring those who have served for us.”

Jenkins, who often shakes hands with service members and first responders following the anthem on game days and acknowledged the “sensitive timing” around Veterans Day, added: “Most of the guys, including myself, who have protested and demonstrated either have family members or know people who are in the service, do a lot for those people and honor those people. Our demonstrations don’t change that.”

Fact - a black man while at his job, during the playing of the National Anthem, took a knee in solidarity with his black race.

Fact - other men while at their job, also took a knee at their job, during the playing of the National Anthem.

Fact - Taking a knee, is for worship of our Lord.

Pss 95
[6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Rom 14
[11] For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Fact - People pay money to go see a man perform his job, playing ball.
Fact - People do not pay money to see a football player, display his race solidarity.
Fact - People who are citizens of America, display their allegiance to this country, by standing during the National Anthem of America and attention on the Flag of America.

Fact - men taking a knee, was NOT for worship of the Lord, but in fact was for a personal protest.

Conclusion - people are ignorant and mimic ignorance.

Conclusion - Even Taking a knee for the Worship OF the Lord, is being corrupted, and changed into a lie.

Your post is both wrong biblically and on the events at hand. Here are some scriptures where bowing was not a sign of worship Gen 42:6, 1 Samuel 25:23, Gen 37:7, Exodus 18:7 and Ruth 2:10. As we can see in Exodus 18:7 and in Ruth 2:10 bowing is a sign of respect not always a sign of worship. Second they are not required to stand or pledge allegiance as American citizens we have rights not to stand. Players used to stay in the locker rooms during the national anthem prior to 2009 but because of paid patriotism players are now on the field to show how patriotic they are. The NFL is paid by the government to look patriotic as that's why they started displaying the Anthem on the fields but do not require players to stand.

You are correct. Why should a man honor or respect a country that has afforded such opportunities as he has been given.

Better there, then to have them display their disrespect.

I was not saying they are kneeling to show respect. I was making a point that your original statement that bowing was only for worship was not biblical as it's not only meant for worship as I showed in my last message.

To your next statement on why respect a country that has given them such wonderful opportunities. As I said on page one they are making a statement to this country about what's been going on in a peaceful manner. For black Americans who feel the injustice that has been going on from slavery in the 1800s to racial segregation of the 1950s to police brutality of today they feel they do not have much to stand for when it comes to the anthem. They are not required to stand and if they choose not to that is their freedom to quietly sit or kneel. As this is not North Korea where they have to stand. Baseball Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson said that he would not stand for the pledge for the same reasons players in the NFL are not standing today. This has been apart of sports since the 70s and we act like this is new.

To your third remark is this 97 year old World War 2 veteran disrespecting the flag? Link below. Of course not he fought so they would have the right to peacefully protest and to have different opinions. Different ideas and opinions is what have made this country great.

You were not on the jury either. So let's deal with the facts from the people who were there.

So you disregard all the links and evidence that showed that the evidence do not back up the story that Zimmerman gave to police just to try to prove a point? Just cause a man is new to the area does not mean he should of been shot and the police even doubt his story of events that ended this young man's life. Not to mention even his own then wife has doubts of his innocence.

Aside from abductees ~ No one living has been a slave in the US for over 150 years ~ except those who actually submit application for the Government to be their Master and provide their housing, food, money, etc. and raise their children.

As this is not North Korea where they have to stand.

And? Why the need to emphasize, to something already agreed on?

It is not "required". Everyone can think and do as they please. And everyone can be observed, and their behavior accepted or rejected.

Just as ball-players can choose their behavior, so also, can fans of football, decline to attend games where they disapprove of the players behavior.

Baseball Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson

A Hall-of-Famer, on his STATS, not his behavior.

Yes, as you mention, that IS part of Robinson's legacy of disrespect.

This has been apart of sports since the 70s and we act like this is new.

It IS new to children, who look to many sports players as role-models.

A 97 yr old vet kneeling in his yard, with no flag present? Why would you be wondering if that is disrespecting the flag?

Who is complaining about peaceful protests?

Do you seriously think people pay the exorbitant prices for a ticket, arrange transportation, arrange for child and pet sitters, rearrange their work schedule, pay for food and lodging to attend a PROTEST or watch a ball-player do his JOB?

First the scriptures I provided were not about the NFL players but on what you said was bowing was for worship only. Which I have shown was not true biblically.

But some people who are living still remember how it felt being racially segregated. Today black Americans are being racially profiled and police brutality against blacks is well studied as you can read 1st post on this page. That's what this is about.

Yes people can decline to come or in my whole family case attend the next home game the 49ers do.

The 97 year old veteran said he would take a knee in support for the NFL protest who are kneeling in front of a flag. He fought so they would have that right to protest. Is he disrespecting the US?

You are complaining against a peaceful protest.

I am next year, so yes. Besides my wife and her family are 49ers fans. So in support of the protest and to bring her to her first game I am paying for her and her whole family. If you didn't know my wife is black so this protest means something as it does to many black Americans who have been targeted or their families have been targeted by the police cause of skin color.

Now on you Difference=devide statement. So did Rosia Parks devide the country or did it bring it together? Did Martin Luther King jr speech that was different message then the US public was use to did it bring devision or unity? The answer is simple these differences in opinions brought us all closer together.
