How would animals judge us men?

Are we humans relatively like angels or demons from the point of view of animals?

I got back a reply over in another discussion that is so insightful that I asked permission to quote it into a new post over here.

Could our domestic animals and pets ultimately play a role in the judgment of us humans?

Isaiah11:9

"They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

Isaiah 65:25

"The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall bethe serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

Former Atheist and near death experiencer Howard Storm was shown that by the year 2185 God wanted to make the earth
utopian / millennial...... and animals were going to greatly benefit from the changes in us humans.

Should Christians fight against fallen angels.... not each other?

Should Christians fight against fallen angels.... not each other?

The last will be first and the first will be last.

Think, for a minute, if that principle really applies to all souls. Thus you have man standing in judgment of the angels.

Whether there should be mercy or hope for the fallen angels or Satan is an interesting speculation.

But let's move down a rung. Man will judge the angels. That has been revealed. Suppose what has also been revealed but not understood is that sheep will judge men.

Jesus is, after all, the Lamb of God, and in John's Revelation, at the height of the revelation in Heaven, he did not see Jesus standing there before the sealed scroll: he saw a lamb.

Suppose Jesus is not simply a god-man, but also a god-sheep. He will judge the angels as a man, and man as a man, but suppose for a moment that he will also judge man as a lamb - as a sheep.

How would the sheep judge men?

"You take our babies and eat them. You take the milk we make for our babies. You eat our flesh. You skin us. You slit our throats for your bizarre religious rituals."

Are we not demons to the sheep? Smarter than they are. Immensely stronger. More cunning. We lead them easily. They follow peacefully. And we slaughter them all. We take their babies and kill them and eat them. All of them. Are we ever kind to any sheep?

Suppose the Lamb of God judges us as a Lamb, for the sheep.

Would the only possible atonement be for us to realize that we stand, in relation to the sheep, as the demons do in relationship to us, and choose, of our own volition, to reduce the pleasure of our lives by ceasing to eat the offspring of our subject species?

Would we not say that the demons would have to do the same, to have any "hope" of being forgiven?

Or do we believe that we've just gotta eat the babies of the weakest, and the demons, too, just gotta eat our souls and bodies, because for us to do without their flesh, or for the demons to do without ours, would be just too inconvenient and take the savor out of life?

Can the demons be saved if they keep eating us?
Can the humans be saved if we keep eating the lambs?

Here is the quotation from former Atheist and near death experiencer Howard Storm where he specifically mentions that a different relationship between humans and animals is a major part of what G-d wants to happen in the Era of Moshiach / the Millennium.

near-death.com/experiences/notable/howard-storm.html#a04

Howard Storm, My Descent Into Death:
"The image of the future that they gave me then, and it was their image, not one that I created, surprised me. My image had previously been sort of like Star Wars, where everything was space age, plastics, and technology.

The future that they showed me was almost no technology at all. What everybody, absolutely everybody, in this euphoric future spent most of their time doing was raising children. The chief concern of people was children, and everybody considered children to be the most precious commodity in the world.

And when a person became an adult, there was no sense of anxiety, nor hatred, nor competition.

There was this enormous sense of trust and mutual respect. If a person, in this view of the future, became disturbed, then the community of people all cared about the disturbed person falling away from the harmony of the group. Spiritually, through prayer and love, the others would elevate the afflicted person.

What people did with the rest of their time was that they gardened, with almost no physical effort. They showed me that plants, with prayer, would produce huge fruits and vegetables.

People, in unison, could control the climate of the planet through prayer. Everybody would work with mutual trust and the people would call the rain, when needed, and the sun to shine.

Animals lived with people, in harmony.

People, in this best of all worlds, weren't interested in knowledge; they were interested in wisdom. This was because they were in a position where anything they needed to know, in the knowledge category, they could receive simply through prayer. Everything, to them, was solvable. They could do anything they wanted to do."

An interesting question. In the Hebrew of the Bible animals are given the same "Nephesh" as humans. Nephesh is often translated as "Soul" when it refers to humans but the word is lost in translation in respect of animals.

Animals, most of them, would regard humans as evil. We destroy their habitats, hunt them, farm them, kill them with pesticides and traps. Only a blessed few, our pets, would think of us as benign. And even some of these are prone to beatings from time to time.

How we, as a species, treat animals is appalling.

Yes..... roughly one near death experience in six involves a meeting with a deceased pet.

This is especially true in the case of children...... Little Mr. Colton Burpo for example in his book "Heaven is for Real" reports meeting lots of animals and pets in heaven.

Yes..... a Ms. Jan Price had a fascinating near death experience in which she met with her deceased Springer named Maggie.

I read that one..... and about fifty other near death experiences to my then ten year old daughter one summer when I was off from work. My gambit worked.... my daughter has accepted Yeshua - Jesus as her Messiah this summer...... she was 14 then..... and was baptized by immersion...... and she is listening to many youtube videos by a Mr. Todd White........ who wasted 22 years as a drug addict but now he is so on fire for God that he is setting many other people on fire.

I wanted my daughter to be introduced to a God who is good to animals.... and has a good plan for them as well........ so that she would have this much in common with her Creator.

Yes..... and I am reminded of an ancient book that
goes into details on the relationship that our first grandparents may have had
with the fallen angel who tempted Eve and Adam.

Forgotten Books of Eden: First Book of Adam and Eve

Chapter XVII - The Chapter of the Serpent.

1 The Adam and Eve came out at the mouth of the cave, and went towards the garden. 2 But as they went near it, before the western gate, from which Satan came when he deceived Adam and Eve, they found the serpent that became Satan coming at the gate, and sorrowfully licking the dust, and wiggling on its breast on the ground, by reason of the curse that fell on it from God. 3 And whereas before the serpent was the most exalted of all beasts, now it was changed and become slippery, and the meanest of them all, and it crept on its breast and went on its belly. 4 And whereas it was the fairest of all beasts, it had been changed, and was become the ugliest of them all. Instead of feeding on the best food, now it turned to eat the dust. Instead of living, as before, in the best places, now it lived in the dust. 5 And, whereas it had been the most beautiful of all beasts, all of which stood dumb at its beauty, it was now abhorred of them. 6 And, again, whereas it lived in one beautiful home, to which all other animals came from elsewhere; and where it drank, they drank also of the same; now, after it had become venomous, by reason of God's curse, all beasts fled from its home, and would not drink of the water it drank; but fled from it.

Chapter XVIII - The mortal combat with the serpent.

1 When the accursed serpent saw Adam and Eve, it swelled its head, stood on its tail, and with eyes blood- red, acted like it would kill them. 2 It made straight for Eve, and ran after her; while Adam standing by, cried because he had no stick in his hand with which to hit the serpent, and did not know how to put it to death. 3 But with a heart burning for Eve, Adam approached the serpent, and held it by the tail; when it turned towards him and said to him: -- 4 "O Adam, because of you and of Eve, I am slippery, and go on my belly." Then with its great strength, it threw down Adam and Eve and squeezed them, and tried to kill them. 5 But God sent an angel who threw the serpent away from them, and raised them up. 6 Then the Word of God came to the serpent, and said to it, "The first time I made you slick, and made you to go on your belly; but I did not deprive you of speech. 7 This time, however, you will be mute, and you and your race will speak no more; because, the first time My creatures were ruined because of you, and this time you tried to kill them." 8 Then the serpent was struck mute, and was no longer able to speak. 9 And a wind blew down from heaven by the command of God and carried away the serpent from Adam and Eve, and threw it on the seashore where it landed in India.

Chapter XIX - Beasts made subject to Adam.

No. That's God's job.

I think animals view men as gods. But they are like Adam and Eve before the fall, they are innocent, and can't distinguish good from evil. Perhaps except for those who disobey God, and shed the blood of man.

We see figurative language going back over a 1000 years before Isaiah was written. No need to read in animals or plants or minerals for that matter containing God's knowledge.

Historically angels have recoded human activity for the purpose or reward and punishment.

No,
except men might be judged guilty for what the men do to the animals, and if (as is the case) men start serving the creation (the created animals) instead of serving the CREATOR and instead of doing what the CREATOR says to do.

I am reminded of an article I read (National Geographic) that dogs only have a specific memory of about 2 minutes. One of the comments somebody made was that this was why his dog loves him, and that his ex-wife certainly does not.

Not to be demeaning, but really? I mean, really? No, absolutely not. Laughably no.

I don't blame you for thinking that but if you got the chance to ask him.... Pastor Todd Burpo might admit that those animals who met his three year old son during his brush with death....... helped him to not be fearful in a really strange place!

Aha.... you like elephants!!!!!!!
