Being part of the Word of Faith movement,I enjoy our Preachers.
I have noticed that there are other good Ministries, who are not part of the movement by name,
But their teaching is virtually the same.
The one difference between us is they are not bashed constantly by the hero's of YouTube.

If anyone has some names to put up ,let's explore the difference between the two.
Hopefully without a flaming mess the moderators have to clean up.

A word of Faith Preacher made a statement saying,this teaching is catching on ,and in the future a lot of people will see the Blessing of the truth in it.

He's been gone for 44 years, but Gordon Lindsay who founded Christ for the Nations Bible Institute in Dallas was a good friend of Kenneth Hagin and was very much WoF. You never heard about him or CFN in any of the anti-WoF stuff. Actually, I believe that they don't want to discuss him because it ruins their "WoF came from Kenyon who took it from New Thought" narrative. Lindsay learned faith and healing from the community at Zion, Illinois that was founded by the healing evangelist John Alexander Dowie, and Dowie was a part of the Faith Cure movement in the 19th century just like E. W. Kenyon was.

I was listening to a non WOF preacher a week ago,and he said
Something that caught my attention.

He said prosperity is a good thing,not the prosperity you hear about but you need to prosper so that you can blessing to others.
I wonder how close to our teaching, he is?
Have you heard of Robert Morris?

Robert Morris pastors Gateway Church in the upscale Dallas suburb of Southlake. He was on staff at my church Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo prior to that. While they're not WoF like Rhema or Crenshaw, they clearly have WoF theology in their messages. And although I don't agree with Robert Morris (or anybody else) on everything, I do consider him a good pastor and teacher.

You're right that many non-WoF teachers do believe in prosperity until they start talking about prosperity doctrine. I remember Jerry Falwell put down "these prosperity preachers" in a sermon once, and then at the end of his broadcast he made a pitch for donations for his university to help them to prosper. In fact, if you listen to guys like John MacArthur long enough, you'll hear them talk about how we all want to see our kids get a good education to "get ahead in life", or words to that effect. That's prosperity, but it's okay I guess because they're not teaching "prosperity doctrine". Pretty hypocritical if you ask me.

I am of the same opinion, as to agreeing to everything a Preacher has to say.
Simon you and I know the true message of WOF teaching,and it irritates me when people critics blast us about money.
The critics sell books and promote themselves as much as they can,lol Falwell used to spend a lot of time pitching his stuff on television.
As far as MacArthur, forget it.
He has taught against the Blood being revelant.
His last Heracy was the belief a person could take the mark of the Beast and still find Christ in Heaven.
He is one of our most vicious critics, yet teaches such outlandish doctrines.

James Robison and wife (Betty) are very well known in the (Body of Christ) and they consider Robert Morris their pastor. Morris is WOF friendly. He is a frequent guest on "Life For Today" James Robison's program aired on TBN/Daystar/CBN and others. He is a Baptist and I have heard him talking about being (spirit filled) with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in his services. Morris/Robison are not exactly on my list of top favorites... though, I do listen to them from time to time. (My favorite's list is a little too long) It's a little hard to keep up sometimes.

R. W. Schambach (April 3, 1926 – January 17, 2012) Was an American televangelist, pastor, faith healer and author. His television program, Power Today, was seen on the DayStar Christian TV network as well as over the internet in streaming podcasts. He became a born-again Christian as a youth on a street corner when the evangelist C. M. Ward (remember him?)... had given an altar call to receive Jesus Christ... and later (Schambach) was ordained as a pastor by (Ward). Schambach, who was also a protégé (student) of the evangelist/faith healer T. L. Osborn... received his formal training at Central Bible Institute in Springfield, Missouri. In the mid-1940s He then began an apprenticeship with A. A. Allen and worked with him for five years. Schambach began travelling extensively with (Allen) on his "Miracle Crusades."

This guy was a powerful faith teacher comparable to Dr. Lester Sumrall. If (Schambach) wasn't WOF... his teaching would definitely surprise you. He was (wall-to-wall) holy ghost as was (Sumrall). (Schambach) came to our church each year till he passed on to glory in (2012). We got to see him one final time a couple weeks before God called him home. In his prayer line, he was famous for having bowl of oil large enough to put his (large hand) in, and then... slap it on your head while praying. It was mentioned years ago he would use a small tub that held much more oil.

His daughter (Donna) operates the ministry now. His favorite quote... "You don't have any trouble, all you need is faith in God."

I assumed He was nondenominational, got to Baptacostal.... lol

This is why I wanted to explore similar ministries to Word of Faith.
I have noticed that our teaching is sound doctrine, and not as liberal as some think.
Jessie Duplantis ,is King James and will not condone drinking among the Church.
He is a funny man , but his message has a sharp point.
We have a Baptist Church that gives their blessing on wine, so who's out of their environment?
He has talked about the notion of drinking but not getting drunk.
He said there was never a time when he would drink, that he knew he was drunk.
