The book speaks not only on platform but also the importance for the need of dialogue between various females of Orthodox churches. The platform is concillar in nature. For more info kindly read the book.

I am just wondering what the platform is and what dialogue between females?

but we are united, those in Schism and heresy are not members of the Orthodox Church. there is no such thing as a divided Orthodox Church.
There are lot of things to be taken care. The book will explain my perspective. its up to you whether to accept it or not.

yeah, but I would like the gist before I buy a book, so what needs to be taken care of? just a little taste of what you think, because I didn't see anything in those book reviews.

even if they are free, I would not want to take something from someone and only have it collect dust on my bookshelf
There are PDF copies available on request, apparently.

I know what you mean, though.

Based on the reviews, George Alexander's book seems worth a read. For example, one reviewer points out that this book mentions that the EO & OO have spent more time talking to the WCC than to each other. That is sad.

one review also said that EO and OO have the same faith, which is not true.

but I do agree with your point. the OO we should keep talking to since there is hope for understanding and union.

hence, just a snippet of the book.

The book talks on the need for resuming dialogue between EO and OO. The last proper consultation was held in 2014. It also speaks about theological comparisons in a minor manner. The books calls for the needs of dialogue between all Orthodox Churches, EO, OO, Old believers, Old Calendar, and others. It has seven chapters and the are personal reflections of the author. There are epilogues contributed by several authors as well. The book also include few photos and several analysis of historical events and contemporary Pan-Orthodox unity issues.

It's good for someone in my position to read. I've downloaded the pdf this morning. A month ago I had no idea that Coptic were separated from the eastern church. There's a lot to learn yet. I'll read just about anything right now.
