Hi and help please

Hello my name is Sarah and new to this forum/ thread. Or really any forum/ thread/ blog in general. I've never done this before. I need help a) How do I start a topic of my own, b) how do i start a blog of own ( do i need to pay a membership to do either of these?) and c) what is the 200 blessing thing that shows up under the heart icon?

Hello Serina1995, welcome to CF .

a) Be yourself sis . Write what's on your heart. Click on the "Forums" tab on the task bar just below the "Christian Forums" banner. That'll lead you to several forums like "non-denominational", "theology", etc. Pick one that you feel comfortable with and click on the "create a new thread" tab. The purpose of each forum and it's rules will be posted on the forum's home page.

b) The task (menu) bar at the top of this page has a "blogs" tab. You should be able to see the current blogs and rules for creating your own blog. You don't have to be a "supporter" to create your own threads or blogs. Supporters don't see the pesky ads in their logins. I think that's the only difference.

c) You were probably assigned blessings for signing up .

To start a new topic, you would go to the forum page that is appropriate for the topic yo wish to discuss, and click on the red Post New Thread button near the top right. Then you can make your post.

To start a new blog, you do basically the same under the Blogs tab and click on the red Create Blog button at top right.

You do not need to pay a membership fee for this site, but many people have donated and become "Supporters", which gives you an ad free view of the site.

"Blessings" can be used to upgrade your account to the supporter level, but can also be given to others alas a token of gratitude or friendship.

Follow the awesome guidance above to learn how to post a new thread, plus check out each forums statement of purpose to make sure you are in the right forum for your thread as well as following the rules for each specific forum and sub forum.

These are called the SOP of the forums and are found at the top of the page with a "pin" or a "sticky."
