A saved person says, "I am as righteous as Jesus."

Truth or blasphemy?
Truth.

"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21

Blasphemy.
If it refers to one's natural state, indeed it's hugely wrong and blasphemous.

One of the blessings of justification is that God sees His people as being in Christ. Romans 5, etc.

"In the Cross of Christ we see
How God can save, and righteous be." :)

Truth.

"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21

Key part is...".. so that in Him...", meaning we ourselves are not righteous. We are made righteous because of Jesus, Jesus is righteous because He is the son of God.

Worded like this it would be blasphemy. The proper Biblical statement would be "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me." (Galatians 2:20)

We will never be truly righteous in ourselves. Our only "hope of righteousness" is for Christ to increasingly dwell within us.

Correct! In my spirit i am just as righteous and Holy as Jesus is.

I'm not sure how, Theadorus, but I think you went a bridge too far there, lol.

Not that I wanna debate it. I just sense there's a little something eschew in that statement. :)

It's not even a becoming righteous (though sanctification does indeed involve this); justification is a judicial reckoning that we are counted righteous in God's sight because of the perfect work of Christ at the Cross. :)

Clothed in the rightousness of Christ as part of the armor.

Truth for some-blasphemy for others.
Read Matthew 5-7, then check yourself.
He said "be ye perfect as my father in heaven is perfect".

Bless up!

So it's blasphemy for some who are saved? Why?

And therem s a verse that speaks on us being imputed with Christ's righteousness i was thinking of as well.

That's cool, bro. The verse you quoted in Ephesians is actually addressed to the congregation as a whole putting on Christ, which there refers in particular to clothing themselves in His presence through corporate prayer and worship, and by putting on greater functioning in the gifts of the Spirit.

But your statement does hold some truth to it. We are commanded to become sanctified in spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). My only issue was that to claim we are as righteous/sanctified as Christ Himself is would be to put us on His exact same level in Heaven and in eternity, which goes a little bit passed where I think even you were intending to go.

No problems, though. I was only picking at you a little.

Since we are made righteous, are we then righteous? or not?

Righteous means of right standing. So are we always in right standing wth God? Can we ever earn it by ourselves? No, for naturally we all come short of the glory of God. But we are made righteous, meaning that through Jesus, we are presented faultless, not that we are going to be without fault (Jude 1:24). Its only through Jesus, we can be shown in right standing with God.

Being made righteous is an ongoing santification process and a walk with God til the day you die. It's not just some title you just earn by doing things perfectly.
