Nearly 4000 years ago, God met with Abraham and made an irrevocable Covenant with him: that his descendants would inherit all that area from the Nile to the Euphrates. Genesis 15:6-20
Later, after the incident at Mt Moriah, Genesis 22:15-18, God promised to make his descendants as numerous as the sands of the sea and they would possess the cities of their enemies.

Immediately, we see the problem with those who say that the Jewish people are all of Israel, because the Jews, who are only 2 of the 12 tribes of the sons of Jacob, have never been really numerous, or have been conquerors. We see this difference again in the blessings given to the tribes by Jacob: Genesis 48 & 49 and Moses: Deuteronomy 33. Note particularly in Genesis 48:3-4….I shall make you fruitful and increase your descendants until they become a host of nations.
This truth completely removes any idea of the Jewish State of Israel being the sole inheritors of the holy Land. In fact they only occupy a small portion of it and Bible prophecy is clear: because of their apostasy and sins, they will be thrown out. Jeremiah 10:18, Isaiah 22:14, Ezekiel 21:1-7 Amos 2:4-5, +

There can be no argument as to who it will be that does inherit all of the holy Land: it is those whom Jesus came to save: the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Matthew 15:24 They are the people descended from the 10 tribes that were taken into exile by the Assyrians and have lost the knowledge of their ancestry. Paul talks about this secret of God in Ephesians 3:1-6, where he refers to them as Gentiles. i.e. non Jews.

The Apostles and Josephus knew where they were. Of course the Jews knew about their kin, as we see in John 7:35 and their Rabbis still speculate as to when the tribes will rejoin.

The remnant of Judah, the Messianic Jews, will rejoin with their Christian brothers at the great spiritual regeneration described in Ezekiel 37, Ephesians 2:11-18

Galatians 3:14 God’s purpose in all of this, is so that the Blessings of Abraham should be extended to the Gentiles, so that we can all receive the Spirit through faith.

Ezekiel 11:15-20 The whole people of Israel [the 10 tribes] to whom Judah [the Jews] have said: The Land is now ours to possess. The Lord says: When I sent Israel far away around the world, for a while I was their protector and blessed them wherever they lived. I shall gather My people from their dispersion and give the Land of Israel to them. I will remove their hearts of stone and put a new spirit in them. They will be My people and I will be their God.
This prophecy says how the Jews believe the holy Land is their possession. But the Lord will give it to His righteous Christian people, the peoples who have been blessed with prosperity and strength. They will be joined by born again Christians from every race, nation and language. Isaiah 56:1-8, Revelation 5:9-10

This will happen soon after the forthcoming Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath:
Ezekiel 20:34 By My outpoured wrath, I shall bring you out from the nations and gather you from wherever you are dispersed.
Isaiah 41:8-10 Have no fear, My people - the descendants of My friend, Abraham. I have not rejected you, now I summon you from the four corners of the earth; I am with you and will give you strength.

But not all of those whom God knows are actual Israelites, Amos 9:9, will be allowed to enter the holy Land:
Ezekiel 20:35-38 I shall bring you out of the nations and I shall state My case against you. I shall make you pass under the Rod of Judgement. Just as I did in the wilderness of Egypt, so I shall indict you. I will count you as you enter, but those who revolt and rebel, I shall take them from the lands where they now live, but they will not set foot in the holy Land. Thus you will know I am the Lord.

These are plainly stated prophesies, not yet fulfilled, but surely will be.

I fully agree with this thread as to whom the promises were made and who shall inherit the kingdom.
According to scripture , who has control of the kingdom before it is given to the saints?

Thank you, its always nice to agree with what scripture plainly says.

There is no actual Kingdom until the King arrives. See in Revelation 14:1-5 the 144,000 are selected, then an allegory is given of an angel proclaiming the Gospel of the coming Kingdom. But Isaiah 66:19 makes it clear, it is those 144.000 missionaries that will go out in pairs, Luke 10:1-12, who will proclaim the soon to happen; Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign.
The current inhabitants of all the holy Land, will soon be thrown out. Jeremiah 12:14

I also agree about the 144,000 and about the children of the kingdom cast out of the kingdom.
The point I'm trying to get you to see is who is governing the kingdom before the saints inherit that kingdom(promised land).

Do you understand who makes the laws in Israel that lead to the saints being put in prison,or even killed?

Matthew 10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Christians will occupy the holy Land"
Does this mean you advocate re-thinking the whole Zionist, Israeli/Palestinian relationship?
Yes.
God has the ultimate way of solving all the problems of the Middle East. Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 1:6-8, Ezekiel 25:15-17, Zephaniah 2:4-7, and many more prophesies that make it clear how the entire area from the Nile to the Euphrates will be virtually depopulated on the great and terrible Day of the Lord's vengeance and wrath, by fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis. Caused by an massive explosion on the suns surface, Isaiah 30:26, that will literally fulfil all the graphic descriptions about that Day.

This truth answers your questions, Shilohsfoal, the holy Land will be empty; apart from a small remnant hiding in bunkers in Jerusalem. Isaiah 29:4
The new Citizens of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, will elect their own leaders, Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11 and their Laws will be Bible based.

One of the problems in all of this is that many of all the tribes joined with the southern kingdom in 2 Chronicles 11 because Jeroboam had gone goofy with idol worship and stopped the Levites from performing their duties. The Levites took off and headed south and all those that remained faithful to God of the other northern tribes went with them.

In 2 Chronicles 15, yet again another large group of "defectors" from the northern kingdom joined up with the Judah and Benjamin in the south. Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon.

In 2 Chronicles 30, Hezekiah called for all Judah and Israel to keep the Passover in Jerusalem. Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun are specifically mentioned.

Under Josiah, 2 Chronicles 34:8-9, remnants of all the tribes returned to Jerusalem to invest is repairing the Temple and money was gathered from all the tribes of both Judah and Israel. This was after the fall of the northern kingdom to Assyria roughly 100 years earlier.

Upon the return from the Babylonian captivity, Ezra mentions Jews 8 times and alll Israel 40 times. Nehemiah mentions Jews 11 times and Israel 22 times. That shows that there were members of all the tribes that returned. Either that or these two guys were smoking some strange cactus herb and didn't know what they were talking about.

4 members of the tribes were mentioned in the NT, so no way that there were ever "10 lost tribes".

And even after the events of 70 AD and 135 AD, there remained members of all the tribes in the Land. Enough so that several significant Jewish communities were built up. And enough so that some of the Crusaders could have contests to see how many Jewish babies they could get on a sword, and take it upon themselves to cook 20,000 Jews in the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem by burning it down with those folks in it, all the while marching around the fire and singing praises to Jesus.

When the modern state of Israel came in to being, 80% of the Jews in the land were Sabras, or Jews that already lived there and had physical ties to the land for many generations.

While I will concede that those of all the tribes that didn't return from the Babylonian captivity eventually were scattered from Babylon and primarily migrated north into Eastern Europe and beyond, there has always been a major representation of all the tribes in the land of Israel. God always has a remnant that is faithful. Just ask Elijah when you bump into him in the future.

Let's see if you understand this question. It is written, that on the day of the Lord when our Lord and the saints enter jerusalem, the Israeli women are being raped.Do you understand who it is that are raping the women of Israel?
I did answer your first question: the problems of the Middle East will be solved by the Lord. Does that not suit You?

Re Zechariah 14:1-2; that prophecy happens at the mid point of the last 7 years before the Return, when the Anti-Christ breaks the peace treaty with new Israel. Daniel 9:27
Verses 3 onward are about Jesus' Return , 1260 days later.

I'm trying to get you to see what is in Jerusalem today as you seem to turn a blind eye to it.You seem to understand much but you don't seem,to understand what is already in Jerusalem.

Jos 21:43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
Jos 21:44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
Jos 21:45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Heb 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
Heb 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

He built us a New House out of two pieces of wood and a handful of nails.

Peter was looking for it to appear on the "day of the Lord" when He "comes as a thief", in 2 Peter 3:10-13.

I am looking for the same thing.

Christ told the woman at the well that earthly Jerusalem is not now the place where we are to worship.

Based on 2 Thessalonians chapter 1, Christ returns in "flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not know God.
This rotten, sin-cursed world is going to burn up.

The Heirs of the Holy Land:
Ephesians 1:11-14 In Christ, indeed, we have been given the heritage, as was decreed in God’s purpose. For it was His will that we who set our hopes in Jesus, should be the ones to make His glory known and praised.
We Christians have the Seal of the Holy Spirit, which is the pledge of the inheritance that will be ours when God has redeemed His own.

Romans 8:16-18 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God…..it is the Spirit of adoption, so we can call Him ‘Father’. This affirms that we are God’s children and if children, then heirs, heirs of God’s promises through Christ.
But we must share His suffering, if we are also to share His glory.

Ephesians 3:6 Through the Gospel, Gentiles are joint heirs with the Jews, part of the same body, sharers together in the promises of God through Jesus.

Galatians 3:29 So if you belong to Christ, then you are the issue of Abraham and heirs of God’s promises. [to the Patriarchs]

Colossians 1:12 We give thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the heritage of God’s people in the Kingdom of light.

It is quite evident that the vast multitude seen in Jerusalem, Revelation 7:9, is far more that the remnant of the Jewish people. Romans 9:27
Many prophesies make it plain that in the end times there will be a people in God’s holy Land, who will be His people, those who seek the Lord and who know what is right. Isaiah 51:1 Every faithful Christian person.

Well,as of now the promised land is being occupied by the beast and the saints don't inherit that kingdom till after the beast is slain.
Daniel 7:11 "Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.
Daniel 7:12 (The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.)
Daniel 7:13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
Daniel 7:14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Daniel 7:15 "I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me.
Daniel 7:16 I approached one of those standing there and asked him the meaning of all this. "So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things:
Daniel 7:17 The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth.
Daniel 7:18 But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever--yes, for ever and ever.'

As of now,the little horn,is in Jerusalem.
He will soon receive a host from the king of the north, his great ally.
I would say he will receive the host within three years.Lets see what their next meeting is about shall we.

The 'beast' of Revelation 13:1-18, is not on the scene yet. What is prophesied there is still future.
Who is it that you think is the 'little horn'?
