I am confused by what seems to be a contradiction within Scripture and within prophecies

Romans 11:25-26
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.

John 5:43
I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.

the verse from Romans is normally interpreted as saying that near the end of times a large number of the Jews will convert to Christianity
but the words of our Lord in the Gospel according to St. John are normally seen as saying that a large number of Jews will accept the anti-Christ near the end of times

just having a hard time seeing how these two jive
has anyone heard an explanation that takes both of these verses into account?

The Church is both Catholic, meaning universal, and thus a large part of the world's population, and yet, at the same time, opposed to the world, and thus hated and persecuted by the world and is a sign of contradiction.

I think the same thing is going on here, in the end times, many Jews will accept the AntiChrist as their Messiah, yet at the same time, many Jews will embrace the True Messiah and join the One True Church of the God of Israel.

I see it as prophesying that a large number of Jews will accept the Antichrist and then later a large number of Jews will convert to Jesus Christ the true Messiah. I think there will be the sign of the cross in the sky (Mt 24:30). That sign will inspire a mass conversion of Jews, and immediately after that is when Jesus himself returns (Mt 23:39). That's how I interpret it.

Yeah, the Traditional Catholic view of the End Times is that, first the Jews will accept the Antichrist as their Messiah, then something happens -Traditionally, it is believed to be the preaching of the Two Witnesses- that causes the Jews to convert and accept Jesus as the True Messiah.

True Israel are those who confess Christ, not just the faithful of Jewish ancestry. So in Romans, "all Israel" is that true Israel, and not today's orthodox Jews or Zionists. Zionists believe in the State, not in God, and the forebears of orthodox Jews crucified their Messiah - they still reject Christ. The Apostle John alludes to these two groups of Jews as being the ones who receive another - not necessarily a Messiah, but those who each lead "in his own name."

The author of Romans doesn't want his "brothers," the Jews, to be ignorant of "this mystery," the gospel, so that they do not remain "conceited" (in their genealogy). Unfortunately, Zionist Christians encourage Jewish conceit in genealogy. So much so, believing in God is tantamount to believing in the state of Israel, and nobody can come to the Father but by Zionism.

The quote from John simply means what it states. They would accept someone who was not from God, but not the one who was from God.
Concerning rom 11:26. There are huge swathes of OT prophecies regarding the Jews returning to their homeland. God would bring them back. As Zechariah prophecies in zech ch12, a time is coming when they will look on him whom they pierced and mourn, and they will accept Christ as their saviour. All the clans.
And, in 1948 Israel became a nation again in their biblical homeland. What God promises through his prophets allways comes to pass

Get real, God didn't bring the Jewish people back, Turkey, Hitler, and later the Brits did. The Zionazis established a wicked, national socialist republic on the necks of native Jews, Christians, and Muslims, who had lived in the Levant for millennia. God will bring true Israel to New Jerusalem, and He sent his Son to do so. Zionism is blasphemy against God's Christ.

You mean, get real with natural eyes, rather than spiritual eyes.
No thanks!

Some of us believe the bible:

I will bring back
my exiled people israel
They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them
They will plant vineyards and drink their wine
They will make gardens and eat their fruit
I will plant Israel in their own land
Never again to be uprooted
From the land i have given them
Amos9:14&15

This is what the Lord Almighty says:
In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say:let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you
Zech8:23

It appears the OT prophets were also encouraging conceit

@stuart lawrence I believe in the bible

Mark 12:1-12
the parable of the tenets tells the fate of Christ hating Jews

and Luke 10:16
"Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me."

the Church is Israel, it is made up of all Jews and Gentiles who follow God

I also believe the Bible. And that includes believing what the OT prophets wrote concerning future blessings for the nation of israel, who, at a time still to come will look on him whom they pierced and each and every clan will accept him as their Lord and Saviour
Zech ch12

Revelation 3:9
Behold, I will bring of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie. Behold, I will make them to come and adore before thy feet. And they shall know that I have loved thee.

Israel is made up of those who have Christ as King
the Secular State with the same name is of no concern for Christians
