Fear of being exposed naked spiritually/personally speaking when you do not even know who you are for sure yet, yeah, I get that, and share it, but have chosen to risk and brave it anyway...
I have similar questions about God's sovereignty and Satan as well, that I have yet to fully resolve of come to conclusion for sure on...
I do know that when Satan or a demon does do anything to you or around you, it is a test, and you'll either succeed or fail, or succeed sometimes, and fail at other times... Every test is an opportunity, therefore, to take a "step up" the staircase going to heaven or to God himself, and Satan knows this as well, but only God alone already knows the outcome, and Satan does not, but chooses to take the risk of us being able to possibly, go up a step or higher anyway...
So, this must mean God actually, places some measure of faith in us, also, if he is allowing it, but restricting him and limiting him (Satan)...
God Bless!
Just an observation ~
Seems you do not recognize or comprehend how to utilize the power within you.
Worry, fear, being anxious, etc. all stem from; we are creatures WHO are NOT "all knowing".
However "IF", you ARE a person "WITH" the Holy Spirit within you - do you know what that means?
It means you have the surrendered your life to be "IN the CARE of thee Supreme Power"; thee Lord God Almighty.
IF you have surrendered your life to thee Lord God Almighty ~ thee ALL Knowing God ~
Ask Him and TRUST HIM to lead you in the path He desires For You. Because IF you continue to lead yourself; you will continue to get the same results; of worry, anxious, etc.
Good to hear, you have apparently found yourself without Pride. Although you seemed to say that as if it were not so good. Actually it is excellent. What do we have to be Proud of, or Boast of ourselves? We are born in sin. We can not save ourselves. We have to make decisions based on limited (and often times wrong) information. We are naturally stingy, greedy, sneaky beings. And IF and when a person decides TO subject themselves to the Lord; It is He that carries our burdens, not us. It is He that Keeps us, blesses us, guides us, teaches us, directs us, not us. Glory and exalting is unto God, not us.
You also mentioned; seemingly the arrogance of one who laughs at wickedness.
Wickedness IS knowing what is right, but choosing to do what is wrong.
The "arrogance" IS a wicked person "hoping to", "believing they have", fooled another with their trickery and cunningness.
The laughing is at their own ignorance, in believing they actually HAVE fooled a believer.
Personally, I have no issue with laughing at someone desperately trying to convince another that two opposites are one in the same thing. Even the Lord gets a chuckle at such nonsense.
Pss.2
- [4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
I have similar questions about God's sovereignty and Satan as well, that I have yet to fully resolve of come to conclusion for sure on...
This is disturbing!
Either you have chosen to trust and believe God is supremely Sovereign or you haven't.
And THAT my friend is something you should have assuredly decided BEFORE you submitted your life to Him.
2Pet.1
- [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Satan IS not a sovereign. He does not have Supreme Power over men. Satan has a bag of tricks, in hopes men will submit to his power. But remember, what power Satan has, comes from God, WHO is Sovereign, first and above and before ALL things.
So, this must mean God actually, places some measure of faith in us, also, if he is allowing it, but restricting him and limiting him (Satan)...
If you mean "God has faith IN US"...no.
If you mean "God Himself gives us faith"....yes.
Rom 12:
[
3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as
God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Now IF a man chooses to develop and strengthen and increase "the measure of faith" given us.
We seek out the perfecter/finisher of our faith.
Heb 12
[
2]
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
And when we seek, we find our faith is increased; By Gods Power; not of our own, and not by other men.
2 Cor 10
[
15] Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when
your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
I do know that when Satan or a demon does do anything to you or around you, it is a test, and you'll either succeed or fail, or succeed sometimes, and
Never, IF you have the POWER of God in you, and utilize it.
A test is not for Gods benefit, but yours.
A test is for you to know where you stand, and increase the truth of God, or be satisfied with wondering what to do.
The truth will set you free - BECAUSE armed with the TRUTH, lies and trickery can not enchant you, or fool you, or make you wonder and doubt and fall for the trickery.
Eve - was fooled, enticed, and began focusing and engaging with Satan.
Jesus - gave us a perfect example of how to handle a trickster.
When Satan "attempted" to entice Jesus - Jesus gave Satan a double message -
For Satan to get "behind" Jesus.
Meaning -
1) To depart from Jesus' sight, rendering Satan's ploy ineffective.(no attention give him)
2) To walk in "following" Jesus, not in leading. ie according TO Jesus, NOT according to Satan.
THAT is the power we are given within us to deal with evil that attempts to entice us; which effectively renders EVIL moot in affecting and infecting us.
Bottom line: the Supreme Power of God is in you and will not fail you, IF you utilize it.
Bottom line: God changes our heart, our truth, and we have to daily remember it is our job to trust the thoughts, the power, the truth in our hearts that God is giving us; and stop allowing our carnal mind to lead us. It is our job to allow our hearts thoughts to supersede our minds thoughts.
Rom 12
- [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
God Bless,
