Srry, but the Bible we have was written in Majorscule so your little "g" does not appear in the Bible. They have been translated from all capitals and not lower case. The word is GOD and is in all caps, only the translators decided to make it a lower case.

But why are the only instances in which G is lower case is when an "idol god" or satan or something outside of God is being addressed?


Like if the G was lowercase in instances where it should be capitalized clearly and evidently just by reading the text I would understand where you're coming from.

But the one instance in which it's at least somewhat of a controversy only becuase God is in the same verse as "god" (corinthians 4:4) it still fits just fine and even commentaries and translations and etc. mostly agree with the placement of "god" in corinthians 4:4 addressing satan. There is some dispute there for corinthians 4:4 but barely any...and everywhere else "god" is placed people agree it's supposed to be there because it references a false or idol god or some other force.

I only asked questions, never did I state my opinion on the subject, or say you were wrong about anything... nor did you care to ask. I can see that you know all you are willing to know now....and I see nothing wrong with it.... So there is no need to further communication on the subject. I am young but age doesn't play a factor when it comes to knowing the Word. It does when it comes to experience though.


Also the way you asked your questions favors a anti-satan view. It's kind of like if you've ever seen a presidential debate, the people on the panel ask questions specifically that favor an agenda and you came across that way.

IF that isn't the case I guess i'm mistaken but just something to help you out in the future when playing Socrates...ask both people in the discussion questions and make them as neutral as possible... cause if you just focus on one person with questions that favor the other person if they aren't addressed correctly...it's one sided.

It also doesn't help if you randomly start asking me questions on another discussion board...makes it seem like you have an agenda against that person.

That sounds like someone who doesn't believe in the existence of the Devil or demons, that's not superstition, that's the New Testament witness. Calling it idolatry is rude, to put it mildly.

see Satan isn't scared of religious Christians who just fellowship to themselves and learn the Bible.

He's scared of people who go on the offense and cast out demons, bring people out of drugs, and oppose the enemy... to not believe in him or the impact of sin is only helping him out. He's scared of Christians who actually realize the the word is a sword...that is sharper than any other weapon, and a discerner of thoughts and all intents of the heart.

People were deceived by a similar message with slavery "if you support slavery then don't own a slave" (ironically this same message is used to support abortion) but my point is by not addressing something you just let it continue.


All i'm trying to do is to encourage you to believe in the enemy and really seek a new revelation and new power you can have with God.

I feel led to end it with those words...you can say whatever else you have to say but I encourage and pray that you at least consider the possibility of an opposing force. That you consider that "wicked" in the verse you just utilized goes beyond just a mental state of mind.

Thanks, I respect you for wanting to be correct but the way thereof leads to destruction. There are no forces which God allows to challange Him. No fallen angels as Rev 1:1 proves that all things must be to the future of John. So where did your creature come from? There is no fear with God only faith to believe in Him and to continue to defend the truth. May God send you a message to think about and mull over the words I have spoken from His truth.

Additionally, i'm apostolic... trust me we emphasis the One God concept probably more so then anyone else does... i'm not promoting multiple omnipresent beings. I'm speaking of "gods" little g or in other words beings who don't deserve such a title yet in the bible were/are worshipped/uplifted as if they are the equal of the mighty God.

And some of these beings such as Satan exist.

And when they tell you to seek spirits should not a people consult their God?

Demons and Satan are just lying spirits
And since there is only One Testimony, if these voices whisper anything but the testimony of God they are made manifest who they are: Satan and his demons

I think it important to pause to consider exactly what 'a lie' is. My understanding is that a lie is an untruth that is told in the full knowledge that it is an untruth. It is very difficult in an impersonal forum like an internet chat room to know another person's understandings or motivations. I think that sometimes a person will state an opinion not knowing that it is not factually true or even in the firm conviction that it is true. In such a situation the person is not a liar even though they might be totally misinformed. A lie is a very different thing than an untruth.

Can you please explain where this post came from and for what reason?

Or were they referring to the father of lies as being Satan and not some form of physical or mental illness
