That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Ph 2;11

24
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

1Cor 15:25
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Father Son Holy Spirit = Lord Jesus Christ.

Father = Lord
Son = Jesus
Holy Spirit = Christ

How about John 1:1

In the beginning was the word

The word was with God
The word was God
The word became flesh

Word = Spirit
Word= Jesus
Word = God

Or

1 John 5:7 reads: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Father= God
Son= God
Holy Ghost =God

"Yahweh Elohim Yahweh echad"
The Lord our God, The lord is One!
Deuteronomy 6:4

This verse is the clearest example we have that proves the Trinity. Note that the first half is Yahweh Elohim (Plural) The lord God (plural) Yahweh Echad (singular). The Lord is ONE!

In other words. Jesus and God are one and the same.

By the way, Jesus did claim to be God. John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

Pretty clear really.

Praying to Jesus is exactly the same as praying to the Father.

God bless.
Simon
Good morning. The God head, the trinity. The three are three separate entities. They are the same because the goal is the same. Their motives are the same. God the father is the God above all. Jesus also known as the word of God is the son. And we have the holy spirit which when you obey the gospel dwell's within us. Check out if you will 2 Corinthians 13:14 and 1 Corinthians 8:6, Luke 1:35. When Jesus says i and my father are one he means of one accord because if they were the same person all together then Jesus would know the time he returns. Mark 13:32

It says in the 10 commandments that we shouldn't put any other GOD before me.

When we worship JESUS and pray to JESUS are we worshiping other GODS?

We put JESUS on the same playing field as GOD is that wrong?, are we worshiping JESUS wrong?

Hi "hfbroady"! Jesus Christ is not other god. Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the One God. So we can worship Jesus!

Matthew 28:19
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".

Say "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".

Say "name". No "names".

So, the God of Old Testament is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who say don't worship other gods.

We worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Holy Trinity, the one God. Holy Trinity is three divine persons who share one essence. It is paradoxical to believe thus, but that is how God has revealed himself. All three persons are consubstantial with each other, that is, they are of one essence and coeternal. There never was a time when any of the persons of the Trinity did not exist. God is beyond and before time and yet acts within time, moving and speaking within history.

God bless you!

As many muslims asks to me this way "did Jesus himself claims that He is God and worship me?". So, I am trying to quote more from Lord Jesus Christ words.

Lord Jesus Christ says in
John 5:23
"....all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father".
Me: Lord Jesus Christ himself says to honor Him "just as" they do for the Father. So, honor the Father and the Son equally by worshipping, which is the best honor.

Lord Jesus Christ claims in John 14:9 as
"..He who has seen Me has seen the Father".
Me: It's a unique saying that He is the image of the Father.

Jesus says in John 10:30
"I and the Father are one."
Me: It shows that He is equal in divine nature with Father.

In Luke 24:50-52
"...He(Jesus) lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
Me: They all worshipped Jesus Christ, when He was taken up".

Jesus Christ says in Revelation 1:17-18
Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last, and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever..."
...If you continue to read in Revelation 21:6-7, Jesus Christ says,
"It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end....
"He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son
."
Me: Lord Jesus Christ himself says that He has beginning, He is God, and He will call us as his Son/daughter.

Isaiah 25:8
"He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.
Me: Lord Jesus Christ swallowed death for all time, the prophesy did happen as we believe to say- "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us".

Lord Jesus Christ says in John 17:10
"All things that are mine are yours(Father's), and yours are mine".
Me: Jesus means it saying -all that "The Holy Father" possess belongs to the Son of God. Its great and He alone is worthy.

Jesus was not created like Adam, He was born as The Father's word. Adam was created, but Jesus was not created, He was there even before Abraham. At the right time He took flesh to break the law, which no man can follow it as perfect wether in mind or in deeds. Because, Sin has shut everyone in its darkness.

John 1:1-3
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made".

God's word is also God, that why Jesus Christ -"His name is called The Word of God".(Revelation 19:13).

The Word of God as Son of God took flesh and was called Son of Man. He was there even before Abraham, because He is the beginning. Without The Holy Father, the Word was not born. Without the Word nothing has been created. Jesus Christ, the Word of God came from the Holy Father and dwelt among us. God's word is also God, and so we say God himself dwelt among us as Son of Man(in the likeness of human flesh).

Since, The Word comes from the Holy Father. Jesus says John 14:28
"....for the Father is greater than I(Jesus)".

1Corinthians 11:3
"the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God".

The Holy Father Judges no one, He gave all the Judgement power to His Son Jesus Christ, to show all should honor the Son just as the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him. Reference:John 5:22-23

John 5:26
"For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself".
Me: The Lord Jesus Christ gives us eternal life through His Holy blood, so we have to worship Him.

John 10:17-18
"I lay down My life so that I may take it again.
"No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.
"
Me: Holy is the lamp of God, Let us worship the Holy Father and His Word, Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 5:12-14
"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing."
And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever."
And the four living creatures kept saying, "Amen." And the elders fell down and worshiped.

God bless you all.

God bless you Brother Daniel!

Jesus is God who became Man.

He is God and Man together.

In John 1:1 say "Word was God" and in John 1:14 say "Word became flesh".

John 1:1 & John 1:14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Scripture is clear that Jesus is God (John 20:28; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8), and it is equally clear that He is truly human (Romans 1:2–4; 1 John 4:2–3). Jesus claimed the divine name (John 8:58) and did things that only God can do (Mark 2:1–12; Luke 7:48–50). But Jesus also displayed the weaknesses and vulnerabilities common to humanity (Luke 19:41; John 19:28).

The belief that Jesus is both God and man is of fundamental importance. The apostle Paul wrote that an affirmation of the divinity of Jesus is required to be saved (Romans 10:9), and the apostle John provided a sober warning that those who deny Christ’s true humanity are promoting the doctrine of antichrist (2 John 1:7).

At no time did Jesus ever cease to be God. Although He was made fully human, there was never a point when He abrogated His divine nature (see Luke 6:5, 8).

Thank you and may the God of heaven bless you as well. I think you miss understand me. I am not saying that Jesus is not God I'm just saying he is not God the father because if so who was he praying to in the garden. And who is he taking second in command to when he says John 13:15-16 and john 15:20-23. If God the father and Jesus were singular. He would say I came not I was sent it would be his will not the father in heaven

  1. Jesus is equal with God
  2. Jesus is the Almighty
  3. Jesus name is called the Everlasting Father
  4. Jesus is God with us
  5. The Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus
  6. The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit
  7. God appeared in the Pillar of Fire
  8. Jesus appeared in the Pillar of Fire
  9. The Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost is the Lord Jesus Christ.
  10. Jesus was before Abraham
  11. Melchisedec was before Abraham
  12. Jesus allowed Himself to be worshiped
  13. Jesus could not be his own Father
  14. God was not limited to that body
  15. We were with God before the foundation of the world
  16. Jesus is the Word
  17. God is the Word
  18. The Word is the Truth
With which of these statements don't you agree.

Absolutely not! Jesus is God. Whether you pray to God or Jesus, your prayers will be heard and I don't have to be a Doctor of Theology to know I am not a heretic.

Thank you emiril!!!!
No, Jesus is God. We should worship Him, and worship the Father through Him. They are one and the same. When He was here in the flesh, the Father was in Him, and He in the Father. Jesus told the apostles that since they had seen Him, they had seen the Father also. I hope that cleared things up for you. :)

Why do you think that I'm saying Jesus is not god. I'm not saying that Jesus is not God. I'm saying that Jesus who is the son is not God the father John 23:9 clearly Jesus was teaching on earth so if he being on earth in the flesh who is the father in heaven, that also sent Jesus and loved the world that he gave his only son. Jesus can't be the father and the son especially in heaven at the same time. Ephesians 1:16-22
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17 That the God of our LordJesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church

Jesus Christ, or God, the Son, was all and "any manifestation" of God...

Including like, a voice, or a ball of light, or a body or form of any kind, or anything that would require matter or substance, Christ "is that" "manifestation" of God the Father with and in him (and the H.S.)

Christ is the part of God that manifests itself... This is why "no one has seen or heard from God (the Father) at any time", except Christ... And, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father..."

Christ is all and any manifestation of God,

God Bless!

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We hear Jesus say all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth he wouldn't say given unto me if it is of him self who gave it. It was given him of the Father in heaven the same father he spoke to on the cross. Matt 28:18-20

I'm just echoing what the bible says all the scriptures I've given, Jesus who is the word of God is telling us what to do. Yes people worshiped him but he told us to worship his father and to pray to his father and to do his father's will because that is who sent him that's what the bible says that's what Jesus commanded so that's what I'll do. I rest
