like, having hatred in your heart for someone or.. extreme anger..
I only noticed this now.. that whenever i feel hate, i get sick. badly.
i also get sick if i lie, have sinful thoughts about men, or get vain about my looks. but not as much as when i hate others..

i am very sinful already so why is this happening to me?
especially now?

i am human so i CANT stop committing sins, its against my sinful nature. How could God punish me for something like this?

Every time christian who is sealed with Holy Spirit is sinning , Holy Spirit inside you is griefed thats why you feel sick. I felt like that today for example after sinning .

Yes, hate is the energy that drives murder. This is why it makes you sick, because when you think in that way, you are not thinking in a way that makes you a temple for The Holy Spirit. In order for you to think that way, you need to reject The Holy Spirit's ideas to forgive that person. Because you are rejecting The Holy Spirit, you are giving power to an unholy spirit in your thoughts instead.

Jesus said that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. When you give power to the thief, he will destroy you. If you give power to The Holy Spirit, He will heal you. You need to turn your mind away from all those things that make you think in a hateful way. Maybe that means spending less time with those people that provoke you, or if you find that some of your music or TV shows are encouraging you to think hatefully, you would be better to not listen to them and to read the bible instead, because the bible teaches us how to love. The world's media teaches us how to hate because it does not belong to God and it does not know Him (1 John 4:8).

Cumulative effects, perhaps? How long have you been subjecting yourself to these unholy ways?

Yes, actually you can stop sinning, and Jesus can help you with that. It takes time to grow in strength against sin, but it begins with a decision to do it. With constant effort and the help of God who teaches us (John 15:1-4, 1 Corinthians 3:6) you can eventually succeed (just like when a person wants to quit smoking). But you really need to make your mind up to do it and to stick to it because there is no going back to the old ways (Ezekiel 18:23-24, Hebrews 10:26-31, Hebrews 6:4-6).

You must know which sins that you don't want to let go of. These are the ones that are preventing you from following Jesus on the path to being holy. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to The Father but by me". If you choose to walk in sin instead of repentance, it does not lead you to The Father, but to destruction (Matthew 7:13).

its been years but i never used to get sick if i sinned. i remember that i was not such a bad sinner til my teenage years.
Now, i am an adult, my sins have become few as compared to those teenage years but this time even these fewer sins are making me sick.. all those years i rarely even felt guilt or shame now i feel physically hurt.

Jesus loves us so much that His whole purpose of giving up His life was so that He would be awarded the legal right to be resurrected and live forever in heaven as our Great High Priest (Hebrews 7:23-25).

His role as High Priest in heaven, is to plead our case before The Father, who makes judgement when our adversary (the accuser) brings charges against us (1 John 2:1). He is the one who has become human to face human temptation and be tested in all respects, so that He is able to sympathise with our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:15).

Because He understands both the laws for God's justice and the weaknesses of the human, He is able to plead for mercy on our behalf, and orchestrate heaven to bring us to a knowledge of how to live in a way that the accuser cannot bring charges against us. For example, He will say "But Father, our sister knows no other way to respond than with hate. Grant her mercy while I teach her, and then let us examine her again". (Consider Luke 13:6-9).

Younger people generally have not been well taught to understand what sin is, and the wrong things they do are done before they have learned that it is bad and why. In fact, young people are taught by the world to become sinners when in actual fact they were not born as sinners in the first place. This is why Jesus said The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as them.

As we grow in knowledge and experience, and He teaches us to understand what is good and bad and the consequences of our sin, we become more culpable for our sins and we become more liable for judgement, less entitled to mercy on account of ignorance. Eventually we are brought to understand the reality that the wages of sin is death and that we need to repent or face destruction.

It seems to me that maybe this is a new awareness for you that you are coming to have in your course of life.

thank you
Awww, Heavenly Father, look at our sister here, look how perfectly committed to the truth she is, that she received a hard truth without grumbling.. Lord, please support her in this time. I know it isn't easy, although to the onlooker it might not be so obvious, but we know that the decisions she is facing right now can be daunting and challenging, and there is a strong temptation to think that it wouldn't be worth doing. So we ask for your grace and mercy to our sister here, we ask please will you relieve her burdens and show her that the decision to truly follow you will bring no regret. I ask that you will really open her mind to envisage the perfect plan you have for her, as she has so much life ahead.. and while it might seem to her right now like she has to choose a life that doesn't seem appealing, we ask that you'll shatter that deception with a real reassurance that the life of a holy saint is wholly opposite: it is full of joy, compassion, hope and trust, free from worrying about doom and gloom, and full of daily victories in your name as we talk with you every day and everywhere we go, carrying your light into the darkness of the world, igniting hearts with your Word of truth and speaking words that bring your power into the world. So Father, I ask in Jesus' name that you will grant relief from the ills that have befallen our sister and give her good health instead, and recognise her contrition, bringing her to a place where she can trust fully upon your goodness to commit once and for all time to daily keep becoming the image of Christ that you call us to be. Thank you Father for our sister, she is so inspiring to have amongst us and we ask that you will polish her as that treasure she is so that she will sparkle like a precious gem in this place. Amen.

Sister, I do admire your response here and I will keep you prayerfully in my heart while you become the conqueror.

I heard something interesting from my pastor one time and he said this: "If you have a sin such as inappropriate contentography, alcohol or an addiction to something, continue to do it."
I don't agree with this at all. So if I'm having an adulterous affair I should continue in it until God stops it? If I'm a thief I should keep stealing from people until God stop it? NO! God has already told us to stop such things. It's up to us, along with the Holy Spirit, to "work out your own salvation" (Php. 2:12).

Rooting sin out of our lives takes effort. You should be trying to rid yourself of it, not continue to indulge it. Actually, I think the OP is fortunate to get sick as a result of sin. That might actually make the process easier.

Pray, be in the Word, avoid all opportunities to sin, transform your mind so that you think on godly things instead of worldly things. Over time, the urge to sin will become less intense and the desire to remain close to God will grow. It's a lifelong process.

Okay, so answer this. What do you say to a person who has been addicted to something for years, has tried through God to stop it, has prayed over and over, and has gotten nowhere? And this I mean would be a person who is of God and filled with the Holy Spirit and very mature in the faith. What that tells me is God isn't allowing you to stop yet and you must surrender yourself to Him. You took what I said out of context, read what I said directly after what you quoted of me.

Also, He has never said to try to stop anything yourself. But rather through God, it has to be supernatural.
