Hi MM,

Read the last half of the first chapter of Romans and you'll see.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Hi Ted
You might want to listen to the teaching above it's pretty good.
But, you are also right I know the Bible holds all of the answers.
The man in the teaching above is a Christian scholar, one that we listen to often on the program Renewing Your Mind.

I don't think Paul is giving a prophecy. He is stating that is the way it was in the beginning and has been down through time.

Hi hank,

Ok, I'm good with that. That's how society has become and down through time will be.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Hi MM,

Yes, I agree with his opening premise. We are watching a culture shift that is predicated on the rejection of man being made in God's image. However, only in degree. There has always been a part of society that rejected God's claim as to how things came to be. Today we are reaping the consequences of that ideology that has been born from the seeds of such ideas from ages past into the general acceptance of that idea worldwide.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Yes, as said before and I often say, nothing new Under the Sun.

Well...except for this:
Lamentations 3:22-24 said:
22-24 God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.
How great your faithfulness!
I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).
He’s all I’ve got left.

tulc(is always glad for this Scripture)

Well that was very interesting, R.C. Sproul has always been good for bringing out the philosophical issues. However, honesty, industry, family, and religion summed up in the word virtue, maybe in sociology but in Christian thinking virtue is a personal character issue. I thought it was interesting that the Murry quote called for a great awakening, we had two of those when this country was being formed. One before the Revolution and one after, both were Christian revivals.

This should have been more of a call for the church to return to the core doctrines of the faith, I heard very little of it. Because unless we do our ability to be a city on the hill diminishes by the day.

i wasnt able to see the link on my phone but it makes me happy to see people talking about this - of course we can all agree that in the end God will win. i'm Catholic and our interpretation of the end times is somewhat different than what i hear lots of Christians say it is. i'm very interested in what's going to happen to us. i guess throughout history like you read in the bible- people go from obeying to rebelling to either repenting or being chastised.

In the beginning ... God
My post was in response to another post that contains the context for my response.

What context are you responding to? Please explain? God certainly wasn't a sinner in the beginning.

In respect to an end referenced by this thread ... and as Jesus had said (which relates to Adam as much as it does to Cain), if he had not said, they would have had no sin.

OK
My response was referring to Cain refusing to acknowledge God and becoming the first murderer.

I understand what you are reffering to, but if God had not chose what would have happened?
