Nothing will get you nothing. If a man gets a gift of $1,000 and does nothing to receive it, he gets nothing.

Let's say I have a gift of $100 just for you. You hear about, believe it, but do nothing afterwards, when will you receive the $100?

I guess I will ask, how does one deserve hell? Isn't it by their evil works and wickedness? Can a man abstain from, flee from, and cast away all his sins, iniquities, and transgressions and still deserve hell? Just asking.

We all DESERVE hell. Every single one of us. That's why God sent His only begotten Son to do such a horrendously and inexplicably thing as to DIE on a cursed cross, for "us", who DESERVED hell.

It must've been pretty DIRE for God to do such a DIRE thing.

The same reason you don't realize you need good deeds to enter the kingdom. Don't analyze it too much, or you will get confused.

When the sheep obey their Shepherd, they know it's all Him. They do nothing for themselves. They don't think of themselves when doing good deeds, but do them as of themselves, but know it is Jesus who does them.

So if a man does not do good deeds, then Jesus isn't working in them. If Jesus isn't working in a man, who do you think is working in him?

It brings to mind the two thieves hanging on crosses beside Jesus.

One was saved. The other wasn't and continued mocking Jesus.

The TRUTH shone for both of them.
