Dear UnderPar:

You can also have a relationship with GOD now.
A person does not need to wait until they die to experience GOD and His good ways.
You do not have to experience the stress of life like the world does.
You will have a peace like you have never known before.
A love that you have never known before.
Jesus died for you so as to give you new life in Him. That is why He died. He died so as to take away your sins. He loves so very much and wants to spend life with you after you die, but He wants to spend life with you in the here and now, too.

Ask Jesus to forgive of your sins today. Ask Jesus to come into your life.
Walk with the Lord and see the amazing good that Christ can bring for you.

May God bless you.

With loving kindness to you in Christ,

Sincerely,

~ Jason.

I don't, I don't even believe in never-ending torture in hell.

I agree. Neither do I. There are many Christians (like us) who think Eternal Torture in hell is not only highly immoral but they believe it is extremely unbiblical, as well.

Your unbelief on the topic doesn't negate it. FYI

I used to believe in ECT (Eternal Concious Torment) for a long time; In time, I realized that the majority of Bible believing churches are not always correct when it comes to every doctrine or belief. I remember defending ECT on another Christian forum, but God showed me my error. There are only like 4-6 verses that supposedly support ECT. Yet, there are tons of verses that support Conditional Immortality. It's not only stronger biblically, but it is more in line with God's love, justice, and good character.

Why do Christians use death as a way to trap people into accepting their beliefs. Using the unknown to scare people to think their way.

It's very underhanded.

There is a fear of being close to someone who is evil and a fear of being separated from someone who is good, and when the Bible talks about the fear of God, it is speaking about the latter. God is good, so the fear of being separated from His goodness should lead us to do things that will draw us close to Him and avoid doing things that would separate us from Him, and hell is separation from God, so it was never meant to scare anyone into accepting our beliefs. If you saw someone heading into danger that they were oblivious to, wouldn't the loving thing be to warn them to turn around?

It is an interesting view no doubt, but regardless if it is eternal conscienceness in hell or annihilation the truth of the matter is we need Jesus.

So back to the OP:

Judgement will come after death, will you be justified by faith in Jesus or condemned by unbelief?

Yes, we need to be forgiven by Jesus because we sinned against God.
If not, we are trying to be our own gods and we are desiring the pleasure of our sin instead of allowing God and His goodness to take control of our life.
The Judgment exists because we as mankind have messed up and sinned against God.
God is not just looking to condemn for some mindless reason.
We actually chose our own path of sin; And God loved us so much that He paid the price for our sin, so He can have a relationship with us (if we accept His free love gift).
God is desiring to draw us to Him.
If one does not want God, then one will perish.
If one desires God, then one will have everlasting life.
It's a choice.
If one desires to do the right thing, then choose God.
If one desires to do the wrong thing, then they will not choose God but they will choose their sin instead.

Hi Jason,
If a person waits until they die to meet God, well it's simply to late.

Well no, not if I have to believe in it.
You said knowing, I doubt you know you're going to heaven (As fact)

I know I am going to heaven when I die. That is a fact :)

Greetings,
I have some startling news for you.
It really does not matter what either of you believe .
All that matters is what is Written in the Most Holy Written Word Of God and it is written there is.

This belief of yours.... (Christians like us) is actually a doctrine of demons. It's deception and you may want to wake up.
Blessings

That's not a wise thing.
Again any one who believes anything other then what is written in God's Word is Wrong.

Death wasnt on my mind when i converted to Christianity.

Its not dishonest or deceptive, you just have to look at the Word of God and what it says. Being set free from your sins is not a "trap" ;)

Im learning to golf, the form was awkward at first but im hooked i think :)
