No, the God of the bible has actually slayed children (Among other things)
We have to claim this as a right moral action, since God is good.

Like I said, the picture doesn't add up.

there has never been a time when the true God caused evil to any person, but the wicked one has been the one among the gods that caused evil, as the Lord Jesus says in John 8:

John 8:44 "the devil... He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

1 John 1:5 "This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all."

Blessings

I would think because he loves me. It's what every Christian says. Think about it, if your child fell sick and you had the power to heal them. Would you?
Well, seek thru Scripture and see who God does not love,
who God does not heal,
who is not God's child,
and who Jesus did not heal or do a miracle for and why.
This will help , perhaps, rule out some of the reasons why anyone might not be healed.
It is all in His Word, and takes time, like a poem or a garden.

Not at all. Maybe you should re-read my last post - especially the third paragraph. It doesn't talk about a God who stays uninvolved.
Explain to me how your God is involved, without human intervention.

The bible says that God breaks and he mends, but I don't want to follow a God who would break anything. The term "Even though he slays me" is not a picture I'd like to look at.

If God is truly good then how do we reconcile the harmful actions he's comited?

Christian reality dictates that we are all born sinful (Sick) then commanded to be well. Wellness can only be sought through faith in your God, but he then refuses treatment.

What is going on here?

Why must God avoid using humans to effect His help of His children?
Then anyone can help anyone then claim it as an act of God, reducing people's efforts down to nothing. God should act independently of his own people to be distinguished, that's why.

People help one another quite a lot without ever claiming their help is an "act of God." My younger brother prayed once for a car. He had just got a job but had no way to get to it. Walking or cycling would take too long, and no bus service traveled to the job site. So, he figured if God had provided the job, He would also provide the means to get to it. My brother prayed about his need but told no one else of it. His first day of work, early in the morning, a man drove up to our place, walked up to the front door of our house, and handed my brother the keys to the car he had arrived in. He said, "God told me you needed this car." Then, he left (in a second car that had followed him to our place). I asked my brother who the guy was and my brother said, "He goes to my church." A short time later, my brother drove off to his new job.

God used this man to help my brother. But it was clearly God at work through this man. Not every answer of God to our prayers has to defy the laws of nature or occur independently of human involvement.

Yes a handful of people, and this keeps the rest believing? I don't want to put my hope in the unplausble.

What hope do you have .. Lashing out and bitter at what you don't even believe ^_^ .. God owes you nothing except promise to be true to his Word and he is .. God has placed a Cherub with a flashing sword preventing entrance by anyone or by anyway to the tree of life except one Way .. I've been where you are friend . I've seen many healed even myself . I had a preacher once whose house burned and they couldn't find his 3 yr old grandson until it was too late and they found the child crawled behind the couch dead, total tragic . But my question is how he could have ever dealt with it with out the grace of God and hopes of seeing the child again in heaven .. I've also been given grace from God, it is real and good . Peace Bro :amen: .

You are describing a false doctrine that the antichrist has introduced. Ecclesiastes 7:29 shows The Teacher's observation that mankind is straight by nature, and James 1:14-16 shows that it is mankind's conscious decision to go after his desires against his original state, that produces sin.

The world around us tempts us and trains us to become sinners, when our natural state is to be holy. Children are much more angelic than grown ups, because the process of corruption has not destroyed them quite as exceedingly.

Therefore, the younger we can receive the message of repentance and choose to pursue righteousness turning away from sin, the more glorious we will be into old age (Lamentations 3:27).

Yes it does say that, but it also says the opposite to that. I don't trust the bible because it has too many transmission problems.

Anyway, if your going to argue points using the bible, expect other folk to argue counter clockwise to your argument.

Yes right, your God owes me nothing. Not even a explanation of why.

This is not a relationship as Christians say, it's slave ownership.

It would be more amazing if a complete stranger did that.

LOL! It was quite amazing enough for my brother! And me!

Your response here makes me wonder if your bias against God would allow you to admit that He did anything extraordinary or good whatever incredible stories you heard.

That is a pretty cool story though, I have had many things line up like that. But it happened no matter if I believed in Jesus or not. Who or whatever reached out to me, doesn't give a rats about our beliefs. They most likely are a obstruction to our progress of truly knowing the creator. Oh yes, I do believe there is a creator, but there's no spirit to catch and no prayers to pray, and no service to attend. It seems this creator is waiting for us to move on from our infant beliefs.

It isn't the bible that told you this, it is I who has told you this. You have attempted to discredit my message by discrediting the source of examples I have given of Christianity's recognised scholars expressing that their understanding is consistent with my message to you, and that is to commit a logical fallacy: Your logical fallacy is genetic.
