Exactly. So if someone is perfectly righteous then the declaration does not need to be made. They are justified by nature.

We sure need Jesus to be declared righteous. If God does not recognize Jesus as righteous then we are in trouble!

Would you agree that there is a difference between recognition and declaration? I suppose one could say that the human nature of the Christ was declared righteous by God before the foundations of the world. And it was so. Though that is not the same sort of justification that we (as believers) have.

Jesus didn't have a human nature before the foundation of the world. His resurrection was God's justification of Jesus (Romans 4:25, 1 Timothy 3:16). He most certainly was justified (and for our sake). But how was he justified?

His baptism?

There's lots of times we can see Jesus being declared righteous in the Gospels.

Jesus did not have to have a human nature before the foundations of the world. God knew His elect before the foundations of the world without them actually existing materially (Ephesians 1:4). So the human nature did not need to exist before the foundations of the world for God to decree for it to be righteous.

Jesus was declared righteous....
The human nature was declared righteous before the foundations of the world. God decreed that the human nature would be perfectly righteous. And, you are right, it was righteous.

So didn't the Father HAVE to declare Him righteous?
Yes, the Father would have decreed that the human nature be righteous. After that initial decree, the human nature was, by necessity, righteous.

I would say he was declared such in:

Matt 3:18 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Rom 1:4 declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

And he was justified BY the Spirit (1Tim. 3:16)

Perhaps,
yet YESHUA is and always was righteous, perfectly,
regardless
if YHWH ABBA ALMIGHTY called Him Righteous or not, right ? :)

Yes, well that's what i'm trying to wrap my brain around...

Ok, this is getting complicated....
:)

That's because of the forum you're visiting - nothing is necessarily true nor necessarily in line with YHWH'S WORD, so....

just like Athens in ACTS, a lot of ungodly confusion and opposition to YHWH and rejecting of Y'SHUA MESSIAH !
