So you would leave a dying person to die in their sins just so you don't feel like you guilted them into something? Interesting.
Romans 10:14-17
The gospel does not teach 'death bed salvation'. Was this man already a Christian or not? If not, depending on this man's mental/physical condition, it may be too late for him.

The whole point of "repentance" is you change, turn away from wicked ways.
It's very easy for people to obey and be a saint when death is staring them at the face. Are those the kind of people that God wants to save?
Remember Jesus on the Cross, He did not even bother/waste time to try saving the other thief.....
The whole world is mourning in Matthew 24 because they know what's coming! Judgement! And it's far too late for them!

The thief on the cross would beg to differ.Yes, and that one gospel does not teach death bed salvation.
The disobedient man will not receive God's grace.I am not sure what you mean by this, but nobody is excluded from God's grace.

He is not an example of NT salvation (Hebrews 9:16-7) as has been dmostrated on this forum numerous times. The thief on the cross would beg to differ.
The thief on the cross died under the Old Covenant, not the NewThe thief on the cross would beg to differ.
If you claim the NT gospel teaches death bed salvation, then you prove your own assertion by showing where it does.May we all have a look at that teaching? Chapter and verse?
I would trust in God's mercy for them as for myself.

Not a bad plan but what if your mouth was the vehicle God wanted to bring his mercy through?
Otherwise why does anyone evangelize? Can't we all just trust God's mercy and be silent so we don't "offend" anyone?
Yep. We can indeed all trust God and keep quiet.
Frankly in 90% of attempted evangelism it would be an improvement.
But I said nothing about offending anyone; I spoke of caring for the dying person appropriately. As will be clear from my posts, I am not at all averse to offending sanctimonious people.
I certainly agree that a good amount of modern evangelism needs improvement. But I totally disagree that we should just be silent. Jesus never once told us to be quiet about our faith but to proclaim it from the rooftops.

An argument from silence? Not gonna fly.He is not an example of NT salvation (Hebrews 9:16-7) as has been dmostrated on this forum numerous times.
Furthermore can you prove the thief was not of those baptized in Mark 1:5, was a disciple of Christ, later falls into a life of crime and repents of that sin?
