Help me to understand something. I thought that Jews who are "white" are really a mix of West Asian and Semitic, no? I get that the Hebrews were Middle Eastern Semites according to the Word of God.
My point is that the black Hebrews or black Jews were Sub Saharan African. I don't think that they passed through Africa, they were African. What is wrong with that? I also thought that the Jews who were white have some Mongoloid Central Asian in ancestry since they descended from the Khazars. Racially, there have got to be some reason why the Hebrews have dark skin. They are a Hamito-Semitic people meaning that the Egyptians and the Jews and those of Cush were "closer" to blacks genetically than white people.
The black Hebrews have a point though I cannot say that I agree with some of their theology. One has to understand that though they are Hamito-Semitic, the Jews have a mixed heritage and like the ancient Egyptians have been whitewashed in the media and in the history books. I hope that my point is not so confusing. One thing is for sure, the ancient Egyptians were an East African or rather Hamitic people, meaning that they certainly not "white", but racially they are "black", not as in black American, but closer to Somalis and Ethiopians, who probably would consider themselves racially "black".
Many Westerners tend to forget that those of the Middle East, and even of North Africa are not racially "white". They may be so-called "Caucasian". Some of them do have reddish and blonde hair, but people of all races have straight, wooly, or wavy hair. Race isn't about skin color, it is often a social construct at least in America. It is about genetics for the most part. One other thing is for sure, while the Hebrews could very well be black genetically through Moses and his wife Zipphora, the Jews except for the Yiddish speakers and the Khazars have Japhetic and Middle Eastern features. I admit that what I am saying is that confusing and a mish mash, but I realize that I am also going by not just secular history, but by the Bible.
There are really three races, Japhetic, Shem, and Hamites. Now once that is out of the way, the real Jews are indeed are actually descended from Shem, who are Hebrews and the Arabs. My point is, the issue of "race" and culture are very complex, yet when we identify ourselves, we have identified ourselves by the European, racist, three or four centuries old model. They, even the Jews of old, did not identify themselves necessarily as "black" or "white", but as Arabs, Ethiopians, or Greeks, or whatever nationality or tribe they come from or identify as. Forgive me for being so confusing, but I realize that I have to put it out there. Also, forgive me that is quite long.
