No, just no.

Factoid:

You have to eat to live. When Christ fed the 4000 he didn't say "You're all full now, yum" he actually made some food.

Did monks and stuff fast for 40 days during lent in olden days ?

Yeah, they did - but they cheated and it still caused them issues in their lower digestive tracts.

They drank. (Not food so - so still fasting - technically anyway)

Triple bock and Assyrian ale is basically liquid bread BUT It also keeps you half in the bag all the time and completely goofs up your large intestine and stomach. You need to eat to keep thing healthy in there. And then there's the whole vitamin thing

Can you pull this off for 40 days ? Ok,

120 days? maybe but scurvy and rickets are going to become an issue. (Not to mentions the effects of long term alcohol abuse)

Years and years - no. You wouldn't have any connective tissue left and internal organs would be mush.

Jesus should of stayed dead after 3 days too. You are not obligated to believe anything.

You know guys... I post this stuff for learning and edification. It is one thing to say that you are unsure or have questions but it is not nice to drag everything I post through the mud and call it fake. So please refrain from doing that in the future.

She also was very ill and could not eat. There are many Saints that did the inexplicable and miraculous. Jesus did as well. God can work outside the laws of nature. All Christians know that. But it is not cool to come in and say it is fake and a lie without proof. Jesus was dead for 3 days and He rose again. Is that fake and a lie too? She has been declared venerable by Pope Francis. This stuff is to read and learn from. I don't post it in a Catholic forum to be derided. It is one thing to discuss but another just to be rude.

I'll ask @Davidnic to come in and weigh in. Many saints had the stigmata as well. I post this stuff to promote interest in the Saints and those on their way to sainthood.

Someone living off a wafer and sip of wine for over 50 years. That was easy.

There have been cases where doctors have signed off on it happening. At least one then I can think of off the top of my head. Blessed de costa I think. Not that you necessarily need a Doctor to follow Miracle start to finish. But sometimes they do like Lourdes.
