2. He says he wanted to be famous, no pastor should have this character trait.

This is very strange. From what I can tell from the image, it seems to be a public post and therefore accessible to anyone, yet Googling it brings up nothing.
Also, the author is Mike Elliott, whereas the movie was about the life of a Michael Glatze. However, I did find a Facebook profile for a Michael Glatze-Elliott, though that seems to be in some kind of transition, judging from the comments under the first post.
Whoever he is, I wish him all the best, however it plays out.
As for the (far more easily read) thread title, I can definitely sympathize. I used to be a pre-trib in my beliefs. Nowadays I'm more just a wait-and-see kinda gal.

Hello Emmanuel, and welcome to CF! I pray that you are blessed by being here.
I'm interested to be a "fly on the wall" in this discussion, for a bit. In fact, I'd be interested to chat with the poster, if he were someone I knew.
I can relate to a lot of what he said - after decades of loving Christ, and being non-denominational at the end, I became frustrated with certain aspects (though I won't say the rapture idea bothered me that much, although I stopped agreeing with it some years ago - my only concern is that some folks held onto the Rapture as their hope, and if they turn out to be wrong, I figured they would be totally unprepared for what would come).
I've done a lot of study, prayed a lot, sought God, and found much peace, finally. I'm not Catholic, either, and have disagreements with them as well, but understanding something of how theology has changed since the time of the Apostles, things been added, things been rejected, rightly and wrongly, all while most folks are really doing the best they can to seek God, has helped me a great deal.
I'm not sure where your discussion will go, but the premise of it is an interesting thought.

Michael Glatze has gone from Mormonism to Catholicism to implied Buddhism and now the inevitable appeasement and apology tourism that is the infamous trademark of the professional ex-gay movement. The professional ex-gay movement is so utterly superificial in its relationship with Christ and it is their rejection of Christ’s mandate for all Christ-followers to willingly suffer and embrace sacrificial self-denial that defines the never ending hypocrisy of the likes of Alan Chambers, Randy Thomas, John Paulk and now Michael Glatze. They all have one thing in common: the refusal to pick up one’s cross to follow Christ. The narcissism and the sinful, selfish desire to serve and worship self which is at the core of homosexuality and the gay political movement is simply tranferred into the professional ex-gay movement leaders’ lives and therein lies their complete failure to change the culture and to win converts out of homosexuality to follow Christ.
I attempted to warn Michael Glatze that he was making seriously flawed theological decisions and his beliefs were not sound Biblical ones. He wouldn’t listen. All he wanted to do was “school me” on Christianity and preach at me. I have been following the Lord for decades. My testimony as an ex-homosexual for 20 years who is battling a very famous scientific case of AIDS all the while living – not in some “safe” insulated little conservative town in Wyoming – but inside of the 4th largest gay community in America, has been broadcast all over the world and shared on many TV and news programs including the 700 Club, newspapers, radio show and magazines. I have written hundreds of articles and produced over 60,000 photographs and 400 videos of my life as a born again Christian ex-homosexual living inside of the gay community.
