Intrusive thoughts are just, well, intrusive, they don't mean you sold your soul to the devil. You can only do that consciously and willingly. Vivid thoughts are things that can happen to anyone, intrusive or not.

Sounds like a spiritual attack. Intrusive thoughts can be and perhaps often are Satanic. If the enemy can't get us to sin outwardly, he'll often try to disturb our peace by internal attacks. Or frighten us into believing we're in serious spiritual peril through the thoughts he introduces.

Pray about this. Earnestly. Christ knows that you would never actually voluntarily do a thing like that.

Your mind works like a computer in some ways -- GIGO... garbage-in, garbage-out. What do you allow your mind to feed on? Is it the devils marketing materials? Look at your music, videos, games, books, movies, your friends, your conversation -- are they just the thing that Satan would be pedaling or is it right out of the Bible?

The battle between Christ and Satan - is a battle for the mind.

You have free will - every day you can choose the food that you will feed your mind. Then watch it grow and mature on that food - becoming molded to what it beholds and meditates upon.

God offers to free you from all of your bad choices in the past - but his way is not the way of the world -- you cannot have both.

It saddens me when people ask questions like this when the answer is readily available in the Scriptures should they pick them up and read them .

it is Written - we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ .

There is your answer . when intrusive thoughts and imaginations,that do not agree and are not obedient to the lord Jesus come into your head .you are to simply reject the and pull them down .He has given us the authority to do this .
we are not to entertain them and build on them . its as simple as that .
thoughts don't always come by our own will . But whether we hold onto them and pursue them .is FULLY our own choice .

The Devil OWNS NOTHING, not even his own soul. So do NOT even think he is in a position to buy anything. First off don't buy that nonsense line the world sells people to think their soul is even their's to sell. It is NOT.

Jesus Christ has bought all life of Earth from God including the human beings. What people can GIVE to Satan is their salvation by pursuing massively sinful lives which can only result in destruction or even eternal destruction if Satan can get them to sin against the spirit, which is very difficult to do.

In ignorance a person, even a Devil worshiper, cannot sin against the spirit they do not understand. Most of them are wannabees and that is who Satan is out looking for, empty people to fill with his lies of grandeur.

So take the OPPORTUNITY to battle intrusive thoughts with the powerful thoughts of the sword of God and smack the Devil in the face with the truth Jesus Christ is coming to abyss him, then later obliterate him from existence to a point of non-existence as if he never ever existed as all, a retroactive violent abortion of the Devil's lame fetus.

He is weak, envious, the first sinner addicted to all the forms of even human sin and on his way down. Give him no credit, he ain't got a dime, all he has is PHYSICAL junk, stuff that ends up falling apart in time, to try to tempt empty people with no hope. SO fill yourself with the PROMISES of God through Jesus Christ and look forward to those things because they are who own everything, and all they "bought" from YOU and ME and EVERYONE was our DEAD ADAM being, purchased with the goal of EVERLASTING life because if Christ "Last Adam" expended as much energy as he did to make the purchase, you can BET YOUR LIFE he WILL be picking up what he has purchased. (Revelation 14:6-8)

And if you STICK TO HIM, he will pick you up for the goal of more life and the final transformation. Those who reject him lose their salvation, true, but in the resurrection of the unrighteous they are given better circumstances to rethink their decisions, because Christ did not die to lose a thing, but to offer the full opportunity to anyone not incorrigibly wicked in purpose.

But much of this wickedness is cultivated by a sinful world which is also passing away for a new planetary life system (Matthew 19:28) optimized for righteousness by removal of misery (Revelation 21:3-4) and the power of the "iron rod" to ensure criminal activity is dealt with immediately and directly in destruction by one powerful King and his Kingdom forces who have even more powerful desire to recover this planet than any Adamic human that has ever lived.

They are older if angelic and helped bring all this into being, and for those coming into the Christ form, enough will have been enough and they will exterminate demons by immortal power in Christ and God, and that is who will be "the cops" in this next world and NO ONE will cause anyone any more pain and misery as a constant in life maturing to more evils as it does in this world today, which just breeds more wickedness as media glorifies evil in very insidious ways.

Do NOT get fooled by this world, when it is time ALL of this garbage it is selling is to be deposed and pass way. Structure your life around this REALITY, because we are entering the final cycle and you will know when it is at the true end.

How will you KNOW that? Very simple, any world war resolves in time, it is NOT "doomsday".

World government complete, functional (Daniel 11:45, Revelation 17:8-18) and "world peace" stated (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3; Daniel 12:11), triggers Christ's arrival, not before, but AFTER it completes. That takes several more years.

The Kingdom of Christ is NOT a "UN affiliate" of the so called "new world order".

First off, Christ is installing a "New Universal Order", he removes Satan and his lame world government too. (Revelation 19:19-21, Revelation 20:1-3) All Satan is doing next is consolidating more power for him as "world government" and he will sell it by post world war (Revelation 13:3) "world peace" claims as per 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3.

Get a life. Really, get yourself a new life.

Stay away from YouTube a little bit. Stay away from the material goods they own. You don't really know what their life is from up close.

What if you take it from another perspective and look at it from this angle: the Bible is sometimes violent, because you can't fight evil without being used to violence.

How can be possible one to be a race driver if he never drove fast?
And how can be possible one to be a MMA fighter if he never hit someone hard?

Do not worry your God is mighty. There is nothing anyone can ever do to change the relationship between you and God. God tells us that there is NO ONE more powerful than Him.

I like what the other poster said, try to memorize this verse and have it always in your mind with you.

John 10:28-30
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

You are very safe with God.

Do you pray to God much? Prayer and reading the Bible strengthen our faith. Try to do these each day, if only for 5 minutes each. That would only be 10 minutes; 5 minutes of prayer and 5 minutes of Bible reading.

Spend 10 minutes each morning with God as soon as you wake up. Before you do anything else.

Later add more time, like 10 minutes in prayer and 10 minutes reading the Bible.

Start small but keep going.

One thing I like to do to force my mind onto God is play my favorite worship music, or put the New Testament DVD on, especially Matthew-Acts.

Matthew-Acts contain the stories of all the wonderful miracles Jesus performed via God's power.
