Not a sin in my mind, either. You're using it for healing purposes, not to get high.
Lol is it a sin to get high ? Is it not a slight bonus within his pain to get a smiley face too :)

Well, I have to agree that it seems stupid for it to be illegal considering that tequila is legal. I'm not sure if getting high is a sin or not, although the Bible says to not be drunk with wine. It does seem more noble to use it for healing purposes rather than simply just to get high. I'm not sitting in judgment either way about it. :)

I'm swaying with weed as I have been lucky enough to have tried a little (before I repented!). It definatley used to help me with my aches and pains before Christ healed my body.
But I have heard that it can give young people mental health issues so that kind of sways me back again. Not sure I want my kids to be weed heads. :crosseo:

With your health concerns I think it would be wrong to deny you the benefits of a plant that has far less harmful effects than what they would prefer you use. Even less harmful than over the counter pain meds.
Pick up a bottle of Ibuprofen and read the dangers of a pain medication that a child can buy over the counter. Same thing with acetaminophen (Tylenol). Not all side effects for meloxicam may be reported. You should always consult a doctor or healthcare professional for medical advice. Side effects can be reported to the FDA here.
Your preaching to the converted buddy If you want to use it then use it, you won't get no judgement from me, if you think it's safe and keeps your pain away then go for it. Can't a man have a little relief now and then?

Most definitely not a sin when used as medicine except that it may be illegal in one's state and we are to follow the law of the land in which we live.

Recreationally, I don't see it as ant more harmful than tobacco and surely less harmful than alcohol. For those with mental illness such as depression it can be helpful except when one runs out of cannabis and none is available, depressive symptoms can be exacerbated thus giving one an up and down feeling rather than a more predictable feeling when you have ingested nothing or not run out.

I believe it has been proven that teenagers that smoke cannabis are more likely to develop depression. My personal opinion not being a scientist of course is that teenagers with depression are simply more attracted to it, thus the connection with teenage depression and cannabis ingesting.

My personal experience has been mostly positive with it having smoked it from the age of about 13 to around 35. It calmed my nerves and never made me feel like doing anything stupid (never made me feel like doing anything period but eat and sleep) I began to abstain from all mood altering chemicals. Never getting intoxicated, I wonder if cannabis is okay for someone like me. I believe it would help with my physical pain anxiety and depression however it remains illegal in my state and I feel I am too old to be spending time in the court system and jails or even prison as the only way to make it free is to sell it. Plus I am very serious about remaining alcohol and drug free. I would not wan it to lead to taking a drink or something worse. If I had a prescription for it,I would do it. My program says you can use drugs as prescribed by a doctor.

If you are responding to me I detect 2 separate opinions that have me wondering what your responce was intended to be. Could you help a guy out and reword your post?
