Just to be clear your referring to a literal light shining right?
I don't know how we'll look exactly. I just know from scripture the righteous will be able to shine as bright as the sun someday.
We could of looked like the picture below.
Or like those in the video below of those being rapture.
Or in the photo in the link below. Nevertheless, there are overwhelming evidence of God being covered in light, Jesus covered in light and man will once again be covered in light after the millennium. And no evidence an animal was killed in the garden, just a theory.

Skins of Light
There are traditions from both Jewish and Christian sources that say that before the fall, the skin of Adam and Chavah was luminous. In other words, they were “covered” by divine light and would “glow”, so to speak. I hope this triggers your mind to make some connections to Moses’ face and Messiah, but we will get there soon enough in this series.
This idea or tradition isn’t random. The Hebrew language is VERY idiomatic, metaphoric, and figurative. Contranyms, homonyms (sound alike words), parables, and many other literary devices are used heavily to help us to understand spiritual concepts through the experience of natural things.[4] Hebrew speaks to us through our senses and imagination. It draws simple “pictures” that even a child can understand. As the old adage goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. In our case, it is neither coincidence nor chance that the Hebrew word for light and for skin sound exactly the same: ohr. Look carefully at the following:
אוֹר Light (aleph, vav, resh)
עוֹר Skin (ahyin, vav, resh)
The only difference is the first letter (read from right to left). Light begins with aleph, a letter heavily associated with God,[5] and skin begins with ahyin, the letter that also means eye. Both aleph and ahyin are silent letters. They have no sound aside from the vowel associated with them. In our words above, the vowel is shown by the letter vav with the dot on top, called a cholem vav. The last letter is a resh, an “r” sound that pictographically means “a man’s head”.
I realize that if you are new to Hebrew, what I’ve written above might be a little confusing, but I urge you to bear with me. This gets really interesting from here on out. If I simply look at the pictographic meaning of these words, both have a heart that connects. Vav means to link, connect, or hook together. It is also the number 6, the creation day for both beast and man. In our passage in Genesis, we are dealing with a beast (snake) that speaks like a man.
If we look at the other Hebrew letters for each word, we can learn what light and skin connects or links one with. In the case of light, my head (resh) is connected to God (aleph), my Father. But in the case of skin, my head (resh) is connected to only what my eyes (ahyin) can see (flesh).
What kind of skin?
We typically assume that God slaughtered an animal and made coverings of fur for the first couple. But the text doesn’t say that this is what God did. There is no mention of Him slaughtering an animal. Our old assumption isn’t necessarily wrong, but the skin (ohr) that God made could have been (mortal) human skin. The verse says that God made (asah) ohr (skin) and clothed Adam and Chavah with it. Perhaps, after losing their garments of Light, God made them garments of (mortal human) skin. This is a viable possibility in the Hebrew and one to consider.
Light can be referred as truth and holiness ... but light is also just light... god is both truth and light .. that he shines like the sunlight .. the shekinah glory right?
It's both. The light that covers us is a reflection of our righteousness. How bright you'll shine someday will reflect your righteous acts. Some will shine like the sky, others will shine as bright as stars but Jesus who's the most righteous shines up to 7 times brighter than the sun.
Daniel 12:3
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Matthew 13:43
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Acts 26:12-14 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, 13 at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
still not sure if that's correct... that the earth was in the spiritual realm ...
Well if the earth at the time of the garden of eden was in the natural realm and not the spiritual realm, than you shouldn't have any problems finding the garden of eden.
Why don't you post an actual photo of garden of eden from the internet.
I can tell you for a fact, no one has ever found the garden of eden simply because you can't see it. It's in the spiritual realm.
But go ahead and post a photo if you disagree.
Sorry if you think this is annoying ... as I said before... I don't believe as you do that the earth was in the spiritual realm ...so death is a possibility in the natural world which I believe Adam and Eve were created in ..which is not annoying but a fact
Well if the earth was in the natural realm at that time, than how come Adan and Eve didn't die a physical death after their sin?
Again immortality only existed as long as they ate of the fruit of the tree of life and drank from the living waters available to them only in the garden of eden that was in the natural world
The fruit from the tree of life was not eaten for immortality. They lived in the spiritual realm where immortality already existed. You just assume that like most people because the word "life" is used in it. But that's not what the tree of life was for.
Look at the tree of life mentioned in Revelation 22:2.
Revelation 22:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
dfw69,
Since the tree of life only bares 12 fruit each month and if the tree of life was for immortality, that would mean every year only 144 people (12 x 12 = 144) would be alive and everyone else would die.
There's 7 billion people alive today. How will all these people stay alive forever when the New Jerusalem descend upon the earth after the millennium?
And in the natural world death was possible if they sinned by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and in doing so the tree of life and fountains of living waters was taken from them ... causing death to the mortals
Than why didn't they immediately die a physical death after their sin?
God said they would surely die if they ate from the wrong tree. God did not say an animal would die if they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
So why didn't they immediately die.......physically?
Even in the future man is gonna try and hide from god in the dens and caves and say to the rocks fall on us and hide us from the wrath of him that sits on the throne and from the lamb for the great day of his wrath has come and who shall be able to stand
Revelation 6:15-16 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
dfw69,
And how many people do you know literally talks to mountains and rocks?
And it's just a few cornballs talking to rocks and mountains, it said all the kings, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man. This is pretty much everyone.
You think the whole world will literally be talking to rocks and mountains in the near future?
You can't figure out this is figuratively a metaphor?
It went hand in hand ... nude and shame of sin and fear of punishment...animal skin solved all their problems.. ok
Let's hope Jesus doesn't cover you in animal skin during the rapture. Everyone at the wedding wearing clean
bright white robes will look at you and strangely.
Revelation 19:7-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
I don't want to stand naked before God.. do you?... I prefer clothing ... I expect white robes
You won't be naked but you might get animal skin if you keep pushing for it.
No of course not but if man knows punishment is coming they may have no choice but to try revelation 6:16
You're gonna try talking to rocks and mountains?
What?.... are you saying just because I don't agree with you I will rise in shame and contempt? That this is a condition of salvation to accept what you believe is true?
This is not about salvation and has nothing to do with it. Not everyone in heaven will be in the same status. Some will shine like the heavens, some will shine like the stars and some will be covered in shame forever. All of them are saved. I'm not sure if being alive in shame forever is exactly paradise either, but God gives people what they want if they push for it hard enough. People prophecise their future daily and not realize it.
Read the book of Proverbs.
The idea I push is that I will receive a covering of glory from my messiah who fulfilled the law for me ... that he is my salvation... who cares if Adam had a covering of glory or not ... it's just a conversation not of importance
You have to be sanctified. His salvation is conditional, having to listen and follow Him.
god also has a literal voice and spoke to the prophets literally
You don't know for a fact that God spoke to prophets in an audible voice. I'm not saying He didn't or did but unless it's documented in the bible, you shouldn't be making claims not specifically stated in the bible.
The only ones we know who heard an audible voice were the disciples listening to Jesus during the Olivet Discourse.
God appeared to Abraham when he visit him and told Sarah she would have a son and that he was about to go visit sodom
Angels can manifest on earth
No He did not. The bible said Abraham saw 3 men. Read it everything carefully, the entire chapter of Genesis 18. They were 3 angels. "Angels can manifest on earth: Hebrews 13:2" Read the whole dialogue. It doesn't even sound like God speaking in the manner as He does revealed in other parts of the bible. God always speaks with authority, always appear (appear doesn't always mean visibly. It means to manifest, to reveal: John 14:21) individually and most often introduces Himself and as God. Not only that, Abraham was even gonna wash one of the men's feet. Abraham was gonna touch God! You don't touch God! Not even to wash His feet! And Sara was actually able to see God and spoke to Him?
Where does it say that God became flesh to come to earth other than as Jesus? Abraham was merely addressing them as lord.
God spoke to Abraham in other parts of the bible but that's not God in Genesis 18. They were His angels as messengers and Abraham was being hospitable. Hebrews 13:2
Hebrews 13:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
For some strange reason I can't copy and paste the page. It's a good site to save if you want to learn Jewish customs and how they interpret the bible.

The Oak of Mamre (also called the Oak of Sibta), at Hirbet es-Sibte, two kilometres (1.2 miles) southwest of Mamre near Hebron.[1] Also called The Oak of Abraham[2] is an ancient tree which, in tradition, is said to mark the place where Abraham entertained the three angels[3] or where Abraham pitched his tent.
