The Republican candidate is a crass man devoid of manners.
"For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people." (2 Timothy 3:2-5)
If you think Trump (and the modern Republican party which cheers him on) even remotely fits Biblical principles I suggest you read your Bible again...
In Trumps defense, I will say "locker room" talk about women in our culture here in America is pretty common place. I heard one ABC commentator say he never heard any talk like that in any locker room he had ever been in. I'm not sure what planet he lives on.
I was a fire captain for eight years... the stuff I heard would burn your ears and disgust just about any decent person. I remember one incident in particular, when all the firemen at station four were watching a daytime soap opera in which a gal was thrown onto a bed and being forcibly sexually assaulted. All the firemen were jumping up and down laughing and cheering and making lewd remarks. This was one week after my wife had been brutally beaten and raped while closing a fast food restaurant by herself at night.
When I stepped out my office and looked at them they all froze and hanged their heads in shame. I had to remind myself I had seen every one of these guys rush into a burning house to save someone. I told them, I don't hold anything against any of you, you're just being a bunch of naughty boys.
As part of my belief as a Christian, I forgive those who trespass against me. I believe this is required of all Christians. So although I don't condone The Donald's lewd behavior... I can certainly forgive him for it.
