I'm curious: is your poll asking "Do you think a Christian can vote for Mr. Trump?" or is it "Are you, as a Christian, going to vote for Mr Trump?" because I believe Christians can vote for Mr. Trump and still be Christians. I wouldn't agree with it but I don't think our salvation is wrapped up in who we vote for.

Can you still call yourself a Christian and vote for Trump? I suppose I'm asking what kind of a Christian would vote for Trump?

There are two highly immoral choices, one of which will become the next president. I think most voters will be voting as much against one candidate as they are voting for the other.
Sometimes I see a certain kind of person and self righteously think to myself, "that's probably a Trump supporter" but then I remember what has been done to Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon by the good, safe, non vulgar, non racist, non sexist, religiously tolerant establishment, and have to wonder if these much reviled Trump supporters might not end up saving a few million lives should their immoral choice for president win.

I believe you touched on something pivotal there, my brother.

How can you say that? would Christians be happy voting for someone who has no morals?
Was Trump right when he said he could shoot someone and his followers would still vote for him?

That was all done in the best interests of the US and not in the best interests of those countries.
If Trump was to become president the US troubles would only just be starting, thankfully it will never happen because the sane Americans outnumber the other kinds of Americans.

Most Americans have been trained from birth to only see what they want to see, anything bad said about the US is dismissed out of hand, how many Americans still think that the US is the best country in the world?
The US put more people in prison than any other country in the world and that's the only thing they are good at, in every other department they are way down the list, next to bottom in some, Oh and they have the biggest military in the world by far because they seem to be afraid of everyone.

And who might these SANE Americans be voting for?

How can you say that?
several decades of being a Christian living in Chicago? :)

would Christians be happy voting for someone who has no morals?
uhmmm...your poll didn't mention being happy, it asked can someone be a Christian and vote for Mr. Trump. the answer to that is yes. If our goal was to be happy I suspect that would be a different thread.

Was Trump right when he said he could shoot someone and his followers would still vote for him?
I like to think that was hyperbole, but again who we vote for has nothing to do with determining if we're Christians or not.
tulc(having a great cup of coffee right now) ;)

Neither Clinton nor Trump are remotely Godly candidates.

A Christian should not vote for either of them.

Soooooo...a "Christian" doesn't vote?

Just wondering.....

What is a "Godly" candidate?
