my sister has been, saw the pyramids and went on a felucca down the nile, she bought me back this heiroglyph thing that supposedly had my name on it but I thought it was bad luck so chucked it away. She said it was good luck but I don't want anything egyptian in my house. No offense to the egyptians but well, they weren't very good to the Hebrews.

I have heard that the sand there is some of the best sand in the world.

I myself would not want to see Egypt as there are so many more interesting places but it is kind of interesting that it was the first civilized country on this planet that we know about.

Its been awhile since I read the story but I am thinking until he was 2 or 3. Not so long as to where he would be called an Egyptian instead of a Nazarene.

I need to watch 'the Prince of Egypt' disney movie as a boy in my class said it was based on the story of Exodus, but I couldn't find it in the shops or video store. I don't know if it stuck to the Bible closely though or embellished it.

One of my sisters friends was teaching English in Egypt, but I don't know if I fancy doing that. Well, I've never felt the need to learn Egyptian.

Although I have heard the Mormons claim their new, improved bible was translated from 'reformed egyptian'.

Why were people allowed to dig up their old kings? I know that if somebody tried to dig up George Washington and show his body around the world I would be rather mad about it.

Also I have watched Cleopatra and Caesar and Cleopatra. Both movies.
But not seen an actual egyptian movie.
Not really sure what the big deal was over Cleopatra, only that she killed herself with a snake bite. Or something.
