I haven't actually watched much of the Peter Capaldi episodes. I've lost track of when the show is on and haven't cared enough to track it down. lol He's ok, I guess.

I'm not sure if I like him or the new (old) guy better yet. I've recorded the last series with the new guy but only watched 2 of them so far I think there is 10 or 12 episodes not sure as they played through them twice and I recorded the series till they stopped airing it and as I watch one I delete the duplicate episode too.

Oh ok...well, moving on from that to Pokemon Go! haha I guess you've heard about it? Here in NZ, heaps of cities organised events last Saturday where players gathered centrally and divided into teams and set off to catch Pokemon. Two of my children took part as they loved Pokemon when growing up and have dvds of the Pokemon series, soft toys and other memorabilia which they have collected over time and now they're right into this game.

Two of my children took part as they loved Pokemon when growing up and have dvds of the Pokemon series, soft toys and other memorabilia which they have collected over time and now they're right into this game.

yeah the game is all the rage now I've heard with people even asking it to be ported to the PC I think it is only on game machines and phones? I like pokemon even though it promotes evolution and some religious ideology it doesn't focus directly on those things. I've seen they have reprinted some pokemon seasons that were out of print now that I don't have but the cost is a bit too much for me at the time to add it to my collection. I have the first 12 movies and the 16th pokemon movie and the first 2 seasons and some of a few other seasons.

I think you play Pokemon Go on phones, from what the kids said. They're really enjoying the hunt when they have some leisure time. I hadn't heard about the reprints, so I'll tell my son as he may be interested.

they are only region 1 (north American) reprints I'm hoping they make box sets of all the later series that you have to buy 8-10 or so single dvds to get the whole season which at times gets way too expensive. I have one season that is only missing one dvd that goes for $50-$200 online now and the next season I need most of it and gave up trying on ebay at a minimum of $25 each that is $200+ just not worth it to me I have other things I could use that sort of money for.

Yes, very expensive to collect some sets out there. I thought the price I paid for the Dr Who box sets was fair, but with other dvds I've collected, I have bought the single seasons with no frills separately, when they end up at rock bottom price in the stores. Dvds like the Downton Abbey series, for example...

We have some ice cream in our freezer that has been there for ages too. But then it's winter here right now, so not really feeling like ice cream at the moment. What's your favourite flavour? I think vanilla is mine...

ice cream can go bad if not eaten for long in the freezer being thawed and refrozen hundreds of times. My favorite flavor.... I don't have one but I like banana split and a lot of other flavors I like this chocolate revel it has vanilla and other stuff in it.

Yes, I did notice as the series went on, that the price did not drop as much as for the first couple of seasons. I have all the seasons now, and all but one of the Christmas specials - oh, and the finale. I saw them on tv, though.
