In fact i suggest you review Jesus rebuke to James and John when they wanted to rain fire down from heaven those who opposed Jesus and the Gospel message

But, you're also not showing forgiveness by wanting to battle these people for spreading the word of God. So, you're doing wrong as well.

Why do you perceive it as battling? Given that situation, with that many ears around... would it be wrong to actually assure that random nonbelievers are not having this impression that this is Christianity? How is it a sign of unforgiveness to scripturally correct their actions of condemning and shoving Jesus up peoples faces? You have any idea that they will continue to do this and detract more people from Christ in the future?

To preface, I have not read all the posts in this thread and probably won't respond to any replies I get.

I don't understand the situation, because I simply was not there, didn't hear anything about this or what was said, but in answer to whether or not we are supposed to go around yelling for people to repent (specifically): Yes. You are allowed to do that. What do you think John the Baptist was doing? What do you think Jonah did at Nineveh? What do you think the apostles did when Jesus sent them out to the different towns? Whatever you are thinking could be drastically different from what the Bible literally says.

Read your Bible. You will find examples of people calling out for repentance and telling people they are sinners. Y'all ain't gonna help anybody get saved if you keep telling people their sin is the 'ok' and the 'right thing to do'. On that note:

1 Corinthians says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to nor perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God."

Acts 2:38 (after people asked what they should do in response to the gospel), "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Let's not be ok with sin. Let us spread the gospel and call sinners to repentance. Let us also not be the authors of tumults and strivings, but harbingers of Jesus Christ.

The clue sir is what happened in the hearts of the people not AFTER but before
Your inclusion of peters first preaching of the gospel began with you quoting acts 2:38 which begins with the word "after".
You have to step back and include the full of what led the people to ask Peter what they should do and the truth that the Gospel was received inwardly upon the heart.

The asian woman who said something that angered the black people with in that crowd is in the video (they didn't show what she said about black people though). Not everything is shown here but you can kind of hear it. There was allot more going on than what this facebook shows (again, i was actually there for over 3 hours watching the whole thing). There is no video of the signs that contained Homosexuals, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Feministics, etc are going to hell, or the other guy that told someone in the crowd that the Bible is telling feministic men to "grow a pair".


The Pastor, David Jonathan Lynn was a very smart man. I'm in the video where he is talking to the 2 muslims, and i have to admit i admired and agreed with how he answered questions however this method is something I can not view as accurate to what Jesus taught. I shared my views with him, especially how i thought that this Church was more dishonoring towards God than supporting him but he claimed not to be part of it.. now i'm finding out they are one church.

From further research, it appears the denomination is Apostolic.

Maybe it is on their website, but it is public so for those who have FB they can watch it. If someone can tell me how i can link videos from FB here so it can be shown directly, i will do it so you can watch.

You can hear at the later parts of the video on how they are blaming Muslims and Catholics around for the killings and other things (around 27 min of the video, i'm just scrolling on this video right now), and you can hear some people from the crowd calling them satan.

One of you guys suggested referencing verses of Christ saying "Love one another"... you can see that being asked by an african american woman (28:00) who says she is the daughter of a pastor, and then she was answered back (sadly. the video ends before she was answered back so you don't get to hear his rebuttal). Again, they didn't show the other signs but you can her it referenced when she says at 29:10 "that sign is not of Jesus". Edit: They actually do at the very end, with the man who told the other guy "to grow a pair".

They didn't show the other signs that were exclusive towards Muslims, Catholics, and Homosexuals.

Watch the whole video and see how they are trying to be rebuked.

I can preach Christ but the reason we were told to shake the dust off our feet was because that alone is a testimony against them

Not to mention that while it is still the year of His Favor one does not know that what might be deemed a rare today with a bit of tilling the soil of the heart might very well be a wheat tomorrow

From what is on the video, beginning, middle and end, the gospel is being proclaimed,
and
as Jesus said , the sons of disobedience in the crowd,
the pagans / the ones who need to repent are in the crowd blaspheming and arguing and shouting much worse than those
bringing the Gospel..... the sister jenny? who is the one mostly in the youtube is very gentle and uncompromising
in presenting what Jesus says , the purpose being that sinners repent to be saved,

and like on this forum, just from the one video so far,
NEITHER SIDE is going to change their minds -
the evil will continue to be evil,
and the righteous will continue to be righteous,

exactly as Jesus said would happen.

Perhaps some have repented, but that's not shown in the video.

But, did they actually say that these people would go to hell? If they did than yeah, that would be condemning others and both Jesus and Paul spoke against that. As the only person who can send people to hell and make that choice, is the Lord himself. It's not our place or our power.

Jesus' Choice?
What doe His Word say ? --> Who does Jesus say is condemned ?
If Jesus says someone is condemned, unless they repent(remember the tower of siloam),
and
you tell them go ahead and keep sinning, you'll be okay,
is that obedience? Is that what Jesus says ? Is that what Jesus says to say ?

She preached the GOSPEL...
She preached the TRUTH...

She clearly said what CHRIST said to two sets of people:
to HIS DISCIPLES that they could not follow HIM NOW but would later
And tho those who did not believe: (John 13)
You can not follow ME where I am going, and if you DO NOT BELIEVE I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS. (John 8)

I am sorry.
But to the one who started this post, by your posting the video, you have shown that it isn't we who do not understand the TRUTH, it is you...and by thinking that we are supposed to preach love and unity...when there is only ONE BODY...and if one is found outside THE DOOR (Who is CHRIST) they will be found outside THE DOOR...that ISN'T love...that is taking the TRUTH of the MESSAGE and hiding it from the world...
It is true we don't know who will hear the TRUTH and believe, but HE does.
And HE calls us into HIS WORK...showing that HE loves mankind and wants all men to be reconciled to HIS SON...

And that young lady was preaching the TRUTH although no one even, from the very beginning, was willing to hear the message...and it was obvious that they were not willing to hear the message.

We are to preach the TRUTH of THE GOSPEL...renewed life (the slate of our soul washed clean) forgiveness of sins and the reconciling back to GOD through THE SON what had been separated from GOD and scattered by GOD until the ONE who is THE ONE AND ONLY SHEPHERD would come to gather back and up and in HIS BODY, what belongs to THE FATHER...

I am really sorry!
I assumed by the words of the OP that this was another false representation of the GOSPEL...I thought, because I heard the mentioning of the Westboro Church, that this Church was also following the same spirit.
