"More than four in 10 Americans continue to believe that God created humans in their present form 10,000 years ago, a view that has changed little over the past three decades. Half of Americans believe humans evolved, with the majority of these saying God guided the evolutionary process."
I might not be very bright but even I can work out that four in 10 Americans is less than half, if half of Americans believe humans evolved there are some Americans missing.
It matters little what Americans believe or don't believe because what really matters is what is true.
The truth is not a matter of opinion.

Sorry but no, the truth is indifferent to our existence.

You do realize that words have multiple meanings
and are used different ways in different contexts?
Once you accept that, it will suddenly become your new "Truth".

There is no such thing as "our or your" truth no matter how much you wish there was.

As the man Daniel Patrick Moynihan said:
“You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.”

Just because you think that is true, doesn't make it so.
Eventually you will realize that everyone believes they
are correct, and some will become correct because that
is what they believe. The impossible has been corrected
many, many times by those with a different view.

The difference is that science is supported by actual reality, not what some human claims is truth.

Just because you think that is true, doesn't make it so.

Then what does make something true?

Eventually you will realize that everyone believes they
are correct,

The difference is that some people can demonstrate they are correct by supporting their position with objective evidence. Creationists aren't in this group.

Please explain to me what 'belief' has to do with 'truth'? whether I believe something is true or not makes no difference to the truth of something, it's like rolling a dice and wishing for a six, the dice does not know you are making a wish just as the truth does not know what you believe.
If you think you can alter the truth just by thinking it's untrue or cause it to be true just by thinking it's true you have problems, big problems.

Education can only cure those who are willing to accept reality.
Education is the cure for those who are willing to accept your reality? You just gave me the definition for indoctrination. Creationists and Evolutionists can be just as committed to indoctrinating others into their belief. Science has their high priests just as much as religion does.

True.

But for some at least, exposure to well evidenced reality gets them to the point, where it becomes too painful to ignore the same and they either alter their faith beliefs and or let go of them altogether.

For those that experience more pain by needing to face reality and alter their faith belief, they just keep utilizing their defense mechanisms to protect their belief.

What else can they do? they have been given something so unbelievable to believe they are twisting themselves inside out trying to force it to make sense, it's only after they come to their senses do they realise just how ridiculous and unnecessary it all was.

I have never been a believer myself but I think I can imagine what it must be like to have the burden of religion lifted from ones shoulders, the relief must be terrific, a belief in nothing for absolutely no reason with nothing at the end, adults thinking like children who are told to wish for something and it will come true, if you didn't know it was happening you would never believe that it could happen.

So, you see,
satan, the devil, is gaining converts every day.
With lots of free help from so-called ..... well, let's just say lots of help from humans .

Evolution is and has been satan's ploy for a long time now.
It is popular with satan, and with his slaves.

It doesn't even belong in a believer's conversation. (it distracts entirely from the truth, and tempts even more humans to continue sinning and to even get worse)
(just 'discussing' it opens the door to more people falling away forever,
as satan well knows and delights in it, for he thus gains many more souls
lost forever from God the Creator and Jesus the Savior)
