How typical of the absurd circus this election has become. I'm no Trump fan to say the least, but are you kidding me? Watch the video. This guy barely touches her. If that's not thrown out of court, our courts are an even bigger joke than I thought, and wow that's saying something. If anything, she should be brought up on charges of false accusation. The media repulses me beyond words.

This event was incredibly fishy from the very start.

At the beginning they didn't offer any proof beyond statements from the reporters. Then they offered a transcript of an audio file, despite the fact that it would be less effort to post the audio file itself. Eventually the audio file was posted, but they claimed that there was no visual record of the event, despite having a photographer in that immediate area at that time. Initially the photographer claimed to not even have attended the event, despite being credited for photos of the event, but eventually admitted to being there and then changed his claim to having no photos of the incident.

Only after all that nonsense do we finally see a video of what happened.

The charge itself has become less and less extreme over time as well. Initially it had been claimed that she was "yanked tightly by the arm so that she almost fell to the ground," but all the videos have shown far less. Yet the supporters of Fields seem to think that if there was any physical contact between the two whatsoever then all of Fields' claims are vindicated, and her supporters are vindicated for believing her even when there was no evidence beyond her word.

And somehow this is supposed to be evidence of how violent the culture Trump is supporting is causing. His events have been shut down by violent and unruly protestors, but hey, they didn't touch a reporter's arm!

I know how you feel. Every time I begin to think better of Cruz or Kasich, like Rubio before, they jump right on the Democrats' bandwagon by trying out a smear against Trump when it's not called for. There are so many things that could be said by both of them against Trump that to stoop to the name-calling and exaggerations we've heard from them only makes me feel that we have to support Trump, simply as a matter of fairness. Kasich, for example, thought it either cute or profitable to use the term "bully" in this case when nothing of the sort like that is verified by the film.

She was separated from her job because of wanting her employer to back up her claims but they weren't considered to have merit.

All the non-Trump Republican candidates lost any possibility of my vote when every single one of them responded to the news of Trump having an event shut down by protestors by blaming Trump in some way (by saying that he created "the culture of violence" or that "regardless of what happens, responsibility for events goes to the candidate," etc.)

The story has changed since the beginning. Watching talking heads argue this looks absolutely ridiculous. Another thing, reporters have boundaries at these events and even the news anchor on CNN said if you cross them that you must be prepared to face the consequences. It certainly did not look like he was trying to throw her to the ground.

It's almost impossible to tell anything from the grainy security photo so take this with a grain of salt, but...

It was just pointed out to me by an associate that the security camera picture seems to show Lewandowski grabbing Fields above the elbow.

However, the bruises that Fields has a picture of are midway between her elbow and her wrist.

Now it could be that the angle of the security camera is misleading because the moment of contact only appears for one frame (which incidentally shows the briefness of the contact) and it occurs on the far side of Fields from the camera. It is also possible that perhaps Lewandowski grabbed her with his other hand at the same moment. But given Fields past history of allegations and the way that the incident was grossly exaggerated before footage was released, it does make one wonder.

She is 28. I doubt she is on blood thinners. Never know, but I doubt it. Piers Morgan ever ready with an opinion said on his Twitter feed that if she were a male reporter she would be rightly ridiculed. He then told Michelle Fields to toughen up.
