No i'm not. The soul cannot die.

Of course it can.

Eze_18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

They are alive while they receive punishment and torment. This is not unscriptural.

That they remain alive eternally is unscriptural. It is based on a VERY OLD misunderstanding that the unsaved are tortured by a supposed "loving God" forever.

No, it simply is only 3.5 years now. It isn't "cancelled" mid way. Revelation makes that perfectly clear. The beast only has 42 months to reign. It's not that it has 84 months then something interrupts that half way through.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

I suggest you reread the chapter with the 2 witnesses. At the beginning it says how the nations are allowed to walk the temple for 42 months (3 1/2 years) and then the 2 witnesses show up who preach the Word of God for 1,260 days (3 1/2 years). So yes, the 7 years is still in Revelation.

Which contradicts the promise of the "second death." You are talking about a "second life".

Have yall ever heard of the concept that the separation from God is death? Hence eternal death due to separation from God.

Yes you are talking about the flesh.

No, the soul here is the inner soul. The wages of sin results in the lake of fire, the second death where the soul dies along with body. Those that have eternal life have the body, soul and spirit preserved meaning all three aspects of them remain alive.

Being separated from God can only possibly be a symbolic death but the second death is a literal death of body soul and spirit. No life remains at all.

No, you have that incorrect.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

They tread the city for 42 months not the temple.

and then the 2 witnesses show up who preach the Word of God for 1,260 days (3 1/2 years). So yes, the 7 years is still in Revelation.

The 42 months occurs at almost the exact time as the 3.5 years. One does not start and end before the other started.

Death with no chance of resurrection back to life.
The second death is separation from God.
Rev 20:13-14 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Satan and the demon wil also be cast into hel and this is called the second death. It is symbolic my friend.

No, the second death is being dead in every possible sense. It is not symbolic.

Symbolic is literal! We must have a heavenly mindset. We see everything in heaven as symbolic, because we are earthly minded, but once we shift over focus to heaven, everything in Heaven becomes literal. Everything God created on earth is symbolic of the Father's nature. You calling separation from God a symbolic death is like saying Adam and Eve's spiritual death when they ate the fruit didn't count because it was "symbolic". To God, that was literal because they became separated from Him when they ate the fruit and they no longer had reflected His image and nature. So the second death of eternal separation from God is literal eternal death. That is why life on earth is the world's only chance of salvation, because once their time on earth passes and they choose to be separated from God and deny Him, they are dead to Him spiritually (symbolic to the world, literal to God).

They were dead but not physically dead. The second death is physical and literal death of the body, soul and spirit.

To say the unsaved live forever is to go against scripture which is clear the unsaved receive the opposite of life.

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

You teach all find eternal life. Some have a good life, some have a very bad life but that isn't what scripture teaches.
The serpent said they wouldn't die and now you are saying the same thing about the unsaved.

They were dead but not physically dead. The second death is physical and literal death of the body, soul and spirit.

Actually, the first death is physical and second death is of the spirit. The first death is either when they die on earth or when they die before the thousand years. The second death is when everyone is raised from death for the White Throne Judgment and is then sentenced to eternal life with Christ or eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire. Eternal damnation is eternal separation from God, which to God is death.

Remember what I said earlier, separation from God is death. That is clearly in the bible. So no, I don't teach all find eternal life and I'm not saying the same for the unsaved. Go read in Revelation again, eternal separation from God is death.

We are turning this thread from a post trib to a hell debate. Need to move the hell debate to another thread.

I was raised in the pre-trib doctrine. However after deeper study I have come to the post-trib side. There is just too much in scripture that describes the fact, that the saints will know the anti-christ. And we all know he is a huge part of the tribulation period. I do believe that he and the false prophet are two distinct individuals.

I am not a strict post trib in the sense that the catching up or "rapture" of the believers takes place after the tribulation. But it takes place sometime during or maybe towards the end of the tribulation. No man knows the hour right?

10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11“And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Thank you! I have no clue how we got into the hell debate. I personally strongly believe that the "rapture" will occur at the very end or just after it ends. We don't know the hour, but Christ did give us the time of which it will occur.

Actually, the first death is physical and second death is of the spirit.

No, the second death also involves the resurrected body.

Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

The first death is either when they die on earth or when they die before the thousand years.

No. The first death has nothing to do with when or where. The first death is when the mortal human body dies.

The second death is when everyone is raised from death for the White Throne Judgment and is then sentenced to eternal life with Christ or eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire. Eternal damnation is eternal separation from God, which to God is death.

Separation is not what the second death is. It is literally the second time the body dies but it includes the soul dying which means no part of that person is alive.

Remember what I said earlier, separation from God is death. That is clearly in the bible. So no, I don't teach all find eternal life and I'm not saying the same for the unsaved. Go read in Revelation again, eternal separation from God is death.

If you believe those in the lake of fire live in torment and pain forever then you are teaching that everyone has eternal life.
