I agree that life is like a game of chess. However, we are not the ones playing. We are the pawns. God is the One playing, and He knows that He will win. When He wins, He will gather up all His chess pieces back to Himself. And God does not lose His chess pieces.
A pawn can become a queen. As we read about with Queen Esther.

Ha! But even the queen is subject to the king. And it is the King of kings that controls both of their every move.
The queen has the most power. The King like the Pawns can only move one space at a time.

A doctor is a man. When we put our hope in man, they can surely fail us. When we put our hope in God, it is impossible for Him to fail us, because it is impossible for Him to fail.
This is a paradox. We are told nothing is impossible for God. Yet it is impossible for Him to lie. You say it is impossible for Him to fail. (We can fail but He can never fail.) It is impossible for Him to do anything contrary to His nature. He is a God of absolute justice. That is why either man had to die for his sin or God had to die. So Jesus took our place at carvery. Yet people want to claim there is no justice with God. They claim a just God would not send people to hell for their sin. Yet there is Justice in everything that God does. Even though "we have pass form death to life" still people die.

That is the whole point. Either man has to die or God has to die. So Jesus died for us. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

I remember when I was in Hong Kong and I had to decide if I was going to get married or not. I wanted God to decide for me. I wanted Him to make the decision. He left it up to me, I had to decide for myself. It was my decision, not His.

How is it that Luke took the time to get to know Mary and tells us a lot about her and the early stores she would tell about Jesus. Like the time when He was 12 and he stayed behind at the temple. You would think that because Jesus asked John to take care of Mary that he would get to know her and tell us more, but he does not tell us as much as Luke does.

Hi,

Actually, the point is do we have Free Will or not.

Your point to me was, God can choose not to know something, and the answer to that for me is yes, as I have encountered that.

Faustina, experienced that with Jesus. She had a free will, and Jesus asked her in writing to give it up, to God, and she complied.

Someone here, has s wife with dreams that always comes true.

Her dreams are brighter than normal. It is those White Dreams that are brighter than normal that come true.

Other dreams of hers do not come true, as they are normal dreams.

He has not told me this, but it is so.

In my mothers case, all her white dreams came true in three days and there was nothing she could do to stop the events from happening.

My daughter gets them. A nurse in the Los Angeles area gets them. For her it is three days also.

Dreams are mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles, by Peter, when The Holy Spirit Descended Upon all of them.

LOVE,

This is a paradox. We are told nothing is impossible for God. Yet it is impossible for Him to lie. You say it is impossible for Him to fail. (We can fail but He can never fail.) It is impossible for Him to do anything contrary to His nature. He is a God of absolute justice. That is why either man had to die for his sin or God had to die. So Jesus took our place at carvery. Yet people want to claim there is no justice with God. They claim a just God would not send people to hell for their sin. Yet there is Justice in everything that God does. Even though "we have pass form death to life" still people die.

Yes, it is a paradox, just like freewill. So as you said, God cannot do that which is outside of His nature. He is a God of justice. Merriam dictionary says justice is:

"the process or result of using laws to fairly judge and punish crimes and criminals"

The full definition says:

"the maintenance or administration of what is just especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments"

What is justice my friend? If I give my child everything and provide for all their needs, and they grow up to be 13 or 18 or whatever this "age of accountability" is, then would it be just for me to tie them up and torture them with fire. And, when they are on the verge of dying, I revive them and continue burning them forever and ever. Is this justice?

Have you ever heard of Andrea Yates? This lady drowned her five children in a bathtub because she did not want them to go to hell. She knew that "many are called, but few are chosen", and that statistically speaking, there was a greater chance that at least one of her children would burn in hell "forever". Forever is A LOT longer than the petty 70 or 80 years were alloted, so she drowned them before their "age of accountability". She committed a major sin, that would send herself to hell, in order to save her children. Was Andrea Yates wrong? Is this justice?

God cannot do that which is outside of His nature. God is Love. God forgives. God saves. God gets everything He wants. God is infinitely greater than us. If you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father give gifts to those that ask Him?

This is what Yeshua says:

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:43

Yeshua says:

"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses." Matthew 18:21

And this is what God says:

"I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear." Isaiah 45:23

What is justice? It is righteous judgement. Isaiah tells us:

"With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness." Isaiah 26:9

That is justice! Praise God my friend, for He has sent His son Yeshua, the Savior of the world.

"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of: italics added by translator] the whole world." 1 John 2:2

God is willing, He is able, and He swore on Himself that He would do it.

Aionios is the adjective form of aion. Aion means "age", so if there is even a 0.000...1% chance that Aionios means "concerning the age/ages", then it does. You have this now my friend. God has already saved you. I know He saved me, because I was a wicked man. I didn't deserve it, I didn't ask for it, there was just nothing else I could have done. Now I get to know the only true God, YHVH our Father, and His son Yeshua the Messiah, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." John 17:3

God bless you my good friend.

I have had dreams about the future that did not take place for almost 20 years.

Hi,

First, that is pleasing for me to hear that you are one of the people mentioned in Acts of The Apostles, in the area of dreams.

Secondly, we apparently have free will, and it is in giving up that free will in some form or another to God, that Pleases Him, it, seems.

It seems to be that Love, as God defines love, is actually doing the will of the one you love.

A woman's whole existence with a man is doing that. You men may not see that, but it is so. The part, I think that confuses males, is we are also female. It also confuses me from time to time, but we do love our own individual guys, and it is actually, doing the will of our guys, is what we do. And, I suppose that just like, others we may actually confuse our wants with your needs, but I am uncertain of that, just like I am uncertain of most things apart from God.

Peter, did not do the Will of God once. He was called Satan at that point by Jesus. If taken literally, then Satan entered Peter, just by Peter working contrary to the Will of God.

Jesus, in all but one issue, did The Will of His Father in Heaven. Even Jesus, subjugated His own Free Will on earth, to His Father in Heaven, despite the fact, that both of Them Are God, and As Such, to us humans, that should make little sense.

If as it seems, God gives humans what they need of Him as a group, then I will say this in support of the existence of Free Will.

Faustina, a recognized reality in the World of God, was asked in a two step process by Jesus Christ to give up her free will to God.

Another person that I know fairly well, gave up her Free Will to God, but expected really nothing from that act, as she knew that she can ask God, but there is never any expectation that God will grant every request to Him from us, or her.

God, though did show her, that He accepted her request, one day, but much later in her life she says. It was about 15 years after, she made that request to God. She, is not very good at giving time references, so it could have easily been more or less years than she says now.

Interestingly enough, is how similar that is to what The Hi-Jacked religion called Islam says. The Hi-Jacked version says you must submit to God.

Similarly Christianity, according to Jesus, was actively being Hi-Jacked by mean people, when He was alive, as those, those are His Actual Words, with the parable of Matthew 7:15-16, explained.

And off topic, Deuteronomy 18:20-22, sets the standard for prophets, if one wants to test prophets. They can be wrong in neither content, nor timing. This is also, the requirement for dreams from God, and any answers from God from a test set up and answered by God, which He will only do, in extreme circumstances, when there is genuine confusion, and a need to know. Still then, He does not have to answer. If, if He does, the answer has to stand the test of Deuterinomy 18:20-22, otherwise, the answer was only thought to have come from God, but did not. It was imagined or someone lied.

We have free will. It is our free will, what to do with that free will. We get to decide, what to do with that free will. Faustina made a choice. Jesus made a choice. Our thoughts, biblically are said to be bad from waking up in the morning, till our going to sleep at night.

If. If I do my free will, and I act on one of those bad thoughts, then I will be doing something bad, in the Eyes Of God. I will most likely be doing bad in your eyes also. And, I will most likely be doing bad, in my own eyes also.

Since, all those things are there and true, it seems to me that my only hope for a better life, is to give that which can be bad in me, to God in offering that up to Him, to see if He will accept that or not. If He does, then maybe I will be less, less guilty than I would normally be.

Jesus, had that done by Faustina. It is on pages 168 and 169 of her diary, for reference.

It seems as though, we do have a free will, and can do with our free will, whatever we want to.

LOVE,

I am the boss of my house, whatever my wife says to do we do.

Hi,

That is also humor. Right?????

One of my favorite days, in my married life, was when it was proved to me, "And the two become one flesh"

I had seen all the signs for seven years, after we were married. I said nothing. I just did, and was.

Then one day someone asked me, in a very challenging way, in a very important meeting, if I had indeed become more like my Spouse.

My response was long. I had to tell her that her answer was in my response, so she would hear all of it. And, it was inescapable to me then, I had become like my husband in all ways that are emotional. I loved who He loved. I also loved The Way He loved another person. That was a nice day.

My listener not only accepted that, she looked at my actions then in a way that I will not look at them yet, or ever maybe.

She said to me, then what you want is what He wants. I could not deny that. I refuse to affirm that. It may not be true.

If it is true though, then maybe the female with all males is also doing her husbands secret will, which she knows.

God, did your secret will, by sending His very Own Son. Can anyone here deny that accurately????

Is it not possible, if you both are not just joking, that your wife although as fallible as I am with my husband, is merely doing your secret will to the best of her abilities?

As Eve was fooled, and Adam was not fooled, my husband can countermand anything I have decided to do, when I tell Him, or He finds out about something I am doing, that I did not clear with Him, and made an error, and I like it that way, as I am wrong, some of the time.

I do not like being wrong, I just like it when my husband protects me from my errors, by saying No. Even errors in doing His Will.

I imagine, this issue of love being, 'doing the will of the one you love', is always in a marriage dual, in that each of you is doing the known and secret wills of each other. The only change in a marriage is, since using your FREE WILL, to choose to marry, and therefore the two become one, then pleasing her or him, is also pleasing you, so it is now easier to do, if not somewhat confusing then.

LOVE,

I prefer to think my choices are deterministic, because:

We want our actions to be influenced, but that doesn't mean we want them to be determined. The quote really only makes sense if you understand determined in the sense of "influenced."

...if my choices were not determined by these things, they wouldn't be my choices.

If your choices were determined by these things, then they wouldn't be your choices at all. The things that determined your actions during your life would themselves be determined by events preceding your birth, and your "choices" would have been a foregone conclusion even before your conception.

Hi,

And you do that. You are technically loving what she loves. You are doing her will.

She does your will also.

Both of you by your individual Free Wills did this: You chose(used your free will) to love (Do the will of) God (It is not good for the man to be alone), in accepting His choice for each if you in a mate: "And the two became one", and each does the will (loves) each other as God tells us we are to love(do the will of) each other, which always involves God, as He is the one we are to love(Do The Will Of) the most and always. Then our neighbor as our own selves, and then others as Jesus has loved us, with the stipulation, that God never ever intended for divorce (ending) of that love(doing the will of), with each other, but for it to be forever, just like God's love for us is forever.

Even though, God allows divorce still under certain circumstances, He does not change in never intending that, as He has said to Israel and ai think Judah. I have divorced you, but I will take you back.

God, can take anyone back in a divorce, unlike humans in the Old Testament. God, can do that, because there are no other Gid's to adulterated with to go to, to be changed by, to turn into, to become one with, as there are no other God's that exist, but The God, so divorce is merely separation. But, possibly eternally so, and as such, possibly unbearable, to the point of being destroyed both body and soul.

Hello friend and thank you for the reply. That is correct, everything was determined before we were born. However, no two men have ever made the exact same choices. No two men have lived the exact same lives with the exact same experiences.

Imagine two brothers that are identical twins. We'll call them Bob and Ted. Both were born at the same time, with the same pre-conception nourishment and care, and even the same DNA. However, several years after they are born, Bob decides to stay at a friends house on a Saturday night. Bob's friend introduces Bob to heroin (not his will), and Bob (being an immature child unable to fully make a rational decision), after much resistance, is peer-pressured into using the heroin. Bob loves it, and his life is forever changed.

Ted stayed home that night. He wasn't feeling well because he had the flu (not his will). While laid up in his bed with nothing to do but watch tv, he has a very boring night. There is nothing on tv, so Ted finally settles on an episode of "Cops". The police are busting a heroin addict, and Ted sees the addict's children, which look very pitiful because their heroin addict father did not take care of them. Ted is disgusted, and decides that he wants to become a police because he wants to help children such as this.

In one night, two identical twins are set on two very opposite paths. So it is with all of us. All is determined, but it is the things that have been determined that make us individually unique. God has done this, because He doesn't want a bunch of children that think, act, and do the exact same things. He wants many children, each with their own individuality, but all of one mind- to love one another.

I hope that makes sense to you. God bless you friend.

LOVE,
God is married to Isreal just as we are the Bride of Christ. According to Physics a marriage has to take place between the negative and the positive elements in the Atom in order to create the elements and molecules for life. Then there is a marriage between Creator and Creation. As you say there is only one God. Many people have many wifes in the Bible. But not once is there a women with more then one husband that is approved by God.

As you say we are here to learn how to do the will of God. As Jesus says: Thy will be done, Thy Kingdom come. Where the wolf will dwell with the Lamb. There there will be no harm in all the Kingdom.

Identical twins are almost identical but there are a lot of differences. They start off with identical DNA but there are differences as they develop. Because of copy number variants, one is NOT the clone of the other. There can be differences in their DNA. Also you have the "good twin, bad twin" syndrome. Often one gets more nourishment then the other. A lot can be learned from the study of twins.
