I agree, dysert! Many Bible teachers show that the reference in Genesis 6:1-2 speaks of the godly line of the children of Seth who were mingling with the worldly sons of Cain. The ref. in Jude 6 does not relate to this, but speaks only of the Angels who were enticed by Lucifer in Heaven to follow him, and have been condemned to be his (Satan) angels --or evil spirits. Scrambling the Word of God will always lead a reader astray.

I don't. The reason being that Mark 12:25 tells us that angels don't marry.

That might be because they always appear as men.

Also, angels are spirit beings who just take on physical form when needed. A spirit doesn't have the parts necessary for having sex.

And yet God and two of his angels sat down to eat and drink with Abraham , which leaves me to wonder whether or not they may have gone to the bathroom as well. Which would mean that they do have the parts necessary for sex.

You make a very good point Brian. The Word of God is clear in the distinction it makes between the sons of God and human women and I know that it means that there were fallen angels mating with human women. The fact is, these angels were fallen which means that they left their heavenly estate to transgress their orders and commit this pure evil act. Demons are the spirits left over from the children of these unholy unions between human women and fallen angels as demons are evil spirit beings that are able to go from one human host to another. Jesus cast out plenty of demons when He walked the earth and when one understands their origins its easier to understand what Jesus was doing. The demons trembled when in His presence because they were scared that He was there to send them to everlasting hell fire and they were like "It's not our time yet!" But they know that that is what is reserved for them as they are pure evil and seek only, like Satan himself, to kill steal and destroy. Also in Genesis, we see where God talks about enmity between the different seeds Genesis 3:15 "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” This is significant and if we miss this in reading the Word of God we miss the fact that Satan has seed and has his own evil bloodline set out to destroy humanity. This is why there was the flood of Noah (one reason at least) which was that the human bloodlines were severely corrupt. Noah was chosen because his bloodline was pure and he was upright in his generations and we must keep this in mind. This meant that not only was he obedient to God but also that he was purely human unlike the many hybrid beings of his day -- giants or nephilim walked the earth in those days. Google them, Giants of Arizona, giant skeletons found -- their skeletons are found all over. This is biblical knowledge and we cannot be in the dark about this. The Word of God clearly states that as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man which means that once more we will see non-human hybrid beings walking this earth once more.

Ever see Shaq O'Neil next to Ben Stein? Giant is a relative term. That angels IN HEAVEN do not marry, says absolutely NOTHING about whether or not when they are in human form they CAN or CANNOT have sex. If their form is human they have all the equipment.

Secondly in Genesis it says daughters of Adam (look at the Hebrew) not daughters of Cain (the daughters of Adam include both lines) and NOWHERE in the Bible are the sons of Seth called the sons of God...faithful Israel as a whole is called His son and Jesus is called His Son....sons of God is only used for angels and those of us born from above (who are new creatures in Christ no longer after the order of Adam)

Read Numbers 13 for more information on the race of giants spoken of in the Bible. The last verse: 33And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.”

Nephilim are 100% biblical and we must not turn a blind eye to the biblical and historical truth of their existence.

Does anybody believe that the giants aka nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6:1-8 were the hybrid offspring of fallen angels and human women? Why or why not?
Nice question, but the answer is there in the book of Gen. (Genesis 4:26)
So the bloodline of Seth were called sons of God and the bloodline of Cain sons of men.
In the OT the Son of God is only one, no one else, and in the new testament the sons of God through Jesus Christ are the believers.
In no place in the Bible the angels or other creatures are called sons by God.
Only men are made at image of God.

Nice.... also it is clear that like begets like. Angels don't beget men, and men don't beget spirit babies.

Just an observation... Nephilim comes from the root meaning to fall or fail. It might be suggestive that those who were giants, or notorious for their failure were still alive. It might be a title like the Chicago 7 saying that Adam, Eve and possibly Cain were still alive. They were certainly notorious among all men for their failure and fall. But people prefer the comic book version of angels having sex.

I don't see how that scripture calls them "Sons of God". It just simply says that Enosh began to have children and they called on God. When it comes to Genesis 6:1-4, it's very obvious that the Nephilim were the Fallen Angels and/or descendants of them and that they mated with human women. Why else would the bible mention them and make connection to them to the men of renown. IMO, the "men of renown" were the Greek and other nation's legends.

The Book of Enoch is very good and describing everything that went on in the spiritual realm and the things that went on. It is also my opinion, that the Book of Enoch is also the true Word of God, but it can be a whole new level of "odd and weird" for those who are freaked out easily. We must also remember that the Book of Enoch used to be canon and part of the bible. So all until it was removed, it was once considered the Word of God. I haven't gotten around to studying into that yet, but I urge you to.

The Lord puts meaning to every single jot and tittle in the bible. There isn't one mark in the bible that doesn't have a meaning or meanings. I'm honestly beginning to believe that everything that we experience and see in this world is all connected, it's just determining how everything is connected.

The book of Enoch has been and is still canon in one of the branches of the Orthodox Church, it was always part of their Bible and always held in high esteem. Just leads one to wonder why the rest of the branches of the church do not have it in their Bibles. But it is so essential for our times and highly worth the read. I read it several months ago and I could clearly see that it was Biblical.

In determining how everything is connected, pray on that for wisdom from the Holy Spirit and your Heavenly Father will help you understand this more :)

"Like begets like" is a principle of sympathetic magic (not found in the Bible), where did YOU get the notion? Human bodies are capable of producing offspring...angels when manifest in human form they have human bodies...there is absolutely nothing in scripture that says they are not complete with all the necessary equipment. If their forms are not fully human it would mean the form (body) was not "human" (because there are no halves).

Enoch book is apocryphal, it is not doctrinal.
The whole Bible talks about the Son or sons of God and angels are never called sons in the Bible.

ps. and then angels have not genitals, they cannot have sex nor make children, and even if they had, if you have bestial sex you will have a child looking like a dog if your theory would be right, but it is not.

Yesssss....and I wasn't aware that it is still canon in the Orthodox church. It was removed from canon around 500ad by the RCC. That should tell you enough right there.

Revelation is apocryphal, meaning it's apocalyptic, but it's still doctrinal.

How then do you explain the mentions of giants and obvious Nephilim (and/or their descendants) throughout the Old Testament? Also, in Enoch is explains that The Watchers took on human form when they came down and mated with human females. So regardless of if angels didn't have genitals or not in their angelic form, they were attracted to human females, came down, took human form, and mated.

A saying I like is that "scripture interprets scripture." The word of God is truth and we find corroboration for the Word of God within the word of God. There are scripture references to nephilim and we have to understand what the word of God is talking about. Regardless of whether we believe they were the children of FALLEN angels (purely evil beings who went against God and do whatever they wish) the point is, they were a race of giants. That is fact, as scripture tells us they were the great men of renown - see Genesis 6. Thus we have answered the question WHO were they? Next we must answer the question WHAT were they? See Genesis 6:4, multiple translations here: http://biblehub.com/genesis/6-4.htm
The word of God states that they were the children of the Sons of God and human women. --- These are two distinctions - we have human women (1) and Sons of God (2) - Now we must ask WHO were the Sons of God? If the Sons of God were human, we would see that the text would reference men and women - but it clearly makes a distinction between Sons of God and human women. Thus, we are left with the question, who were the Sons of God?

Not to mention scripture in Psalm 82 is clearly talking to the Fallen or Nephilim.

82:6 “You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High. 7 “Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes.” 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.

No one can say that God has ever called us "gods" because we are not. So the only logical response is that God is talking to the Fallen/Nephilim because to an ancient culture, those beings would be considered gods.

Where did you get that? I know....you were taught it by a human with a particular theology...the Bible nowhere says any such thing. surely in heaven where they have no biological body this would be true but when they assume a HUMAN form that's another matter. HUMAN forms have genitals.

The sons of Seth theory only makes sense if the daughters were the daughters of Cain but they were not,,,in the Hebrew it clearly says they were the daughters of Adam (which included both genealogies)...nowhere are the sons of Seth called the sons of God....the imaginations of all their hearts were only evil continually (including the line of Seth with the exception of a scant few)
