If you enter a cesspool, it is a terrible place to be. If you stay long enough, it becomes a Hot Tub! Watch the video here!

Thomas Jefferson stated, as he left public life, that he left with his hands as clean, and as empty, as they were when he entered it.

This video is not new, but this interview with the author is fascinating, and infuriating at the same time!

What is fascinating is that despite the obviousness of insider trading being something propagated by Congressmen (and other politicians) of all political affiliations, his analysis focuses solely on Democrats, and his conclusion is that it's the DNC that is the most corrupt organization.

It takes a non-partisan issue (corruption within Congress) and yields a blatantly partisan conclusion (DNC is corrupt).

It kinda destroys the liberal narrative about Republican corruption, huh?

What on earth are you talking about?

Beck's whole deal is a "conservative" narrative about Democrat corruption.

Who's putting forth this "liberal narrative" that only Republicans are corrupt?

They're all corrupt! Think about it!
They're the law makers! They decide how this country runs by law. There are lobbyists who come to them and make proposals concerning the law and on behalf of billionaire special interests that will benefit from the laws passed.

And they're above the laws they make. And they'll sit for life as long as voters are lazy enough to choose the same name they see on the ballot every single election.
And the SCOTUS is corrupt too! They interpret the laws. Hell, they even create new laws illegally. Because who's going to stop them? CONGRESS! NOT!
And SCOTUS tells the President what he can and cannot do when it comes down to it.

It's a three headed hydra of evil. And we're surprised there's insider trading from all sides? If all the evil that every member of the Senate and Congress were guilty of while in that office attached to them as little readable banners sticking out of them in public, we'd be able to read their wrong doing when we watched C-SPAN. Then we'd know what they were.

But you know what's really disconcerting about that impossible scenario?
Even if that happened there are loyalists on both sides of the aisle that would still vote for the banner ridden corrupt evils come election time!

We're where we're at as a nation because as a people we're too darn lazy and apathetic to sacrifice a thing to change it.

And as far as sacrifices go, whining is cheaper! So we whine until the day we die. And the evils grow richer because when we die there will always be more apathetics to take our place and vote them back in.

Some people don't want real freedom because they're scared of what it means to be free. So they'll chafe under their shackles and ignore the rub and happily grow to think that the length of chain that allows them just so much room to move is freedom. Because they know that yard, they know that length of chain and the space in which they're permitted to roam and it feels familiar and safe and good and that's what makes the shackle limit OK.

Meanwhile the masters that created the chains grow fat for the labor that is knocked out at the end of those tethers. Because what is made at the end is handed back in large proportion to what is given to the laborer at the other end.

American's are stupid! Just as Trump observed. We pay income tax!
Think about that. We're deluded thinking we live in a free country. Meanwhile, we pay the government for our right to earn a living and survive here by their laws.

Corruption in Congress. Con-gress.

It's a given.

Come on, Whatbogsends.

Nearly every day someone posts here about Republicans being the rich, greedy insiders who are robbing the little people ... therefore vote Democrat.

Of course! The entire website is one giant tea party. An investment website which tells the reader to not invest based on anything on the website. Sad, but amusing....

The Republicans more outwardly promote policies which benefit the wealthy. That isn't corruption, it's a flawed ideology.

There is widespread corruption within both the Republican and Democratic party. Somehow, Beck spends 99% of his time focusing on corruption done by Democrats, with the occasional passing reference to bi-partisan corruption.

You remind me of Beck in that way.

No, he doesn't ... perhaps you haven't been paying attention. He slaps down individual Republicans routinely. He's been especially harsh to a number of the Republican candidates ... none more so than Donald Trump.
You remind me of Beck in that way.
LOL, I doubt that Glenn Beck would appreciate that association.

Not True. First guilty party noted was a GOP guy!!! A GOP guy was first mentioned on the Land Deals corruption!!! George Soros is not even American, but who are his cohorts here??? Who are his enablers, and his beneficiaries? It is shown by GB to be a problem on both sides of the aisle. How many do you know of that shun this "get rich on the backs of taxpayers" scheme??? I'd be glad to know of any Repub or Dem legislators.
They're all corrupt...
THANKS!!! This is right on target. What few are not involved would stand out like Frank SERPICO stood out in a NYC Police Station!!!

The book is titled, "THROW THEM ALL OUT" by Peter Schweizer. He named a couple or three people in Congress that do not trade stocks while in office (as of 2011) and Michelle Bachmann was one.
