Yeah, the old timers in TAW know what it means! ^_^

Short version is that in 2007 the website here went through some outright heretical changes that caused the active membership to drop by more than half. The ensuing administrative chaos caused the remaining membership to drop even more. As a joke, mainly in reference to Old Calendarist organizations, I had a poll in TAW on a name for the Eastern Orthodox posters who decided to remain posting here. It evolved. Two or three days of hilarious gut-splitting conversation later, that name was born.
I wonder if the change to the new server software will also produce some exiles ... probably not but who can say?

Hardly☺

The changes in 2007 were administrative not technical but caused chaos. The original site owner sold the place and left. He learned that direct democracy does not work in the Internet when it comes to rule making and moderator appointing.

Church of Christ until age 18, at which time I emancipated myself.

Southern Baptist for seven years.

ACNA for one year.

Roman Catholic now with a fair number of traditionalist sympathies.

Restless ELCA (but nowhere else to go as I'm too anti-liberal and anti-conservative) Lutheran since 2004, left RC for Episcopalian 1992-2004, still retain Baptism in the Spirit from 1977, Roman Catholic 1969-92, variously Methodist and Seeker before that. Dale Adams

Post here and your faith tradition so we can get a sense of who's who.
thecolorsblend, Catholic, Roman Rite. Still possessed of a strong affection for the Anglican liturgy... but not strong enough to actually be Anglican.

Have you thought of attending an Anglican Mass in the Catholic church?

The only Anglican Use parish in town that I know about is pretty far away from here and tucked away in the rich part of town. I attended Mass there once when I was in RCIA and loved it but it's just not practical.

After reading this entire awesome thread, I decided to expand my comments. I am a Catholic with Eastern Orthodox leanings.

SOME HISTORY
I am a Jew.
I studied some world and medieval philosophy at Berkeley.
I became a Southern Baptist about 30 years ago, after much seeking and study with a Zoroastrian buddy.
I taught in the Baptist church and in a non-denominational pentecostal church.
I complete my faith by being confirmed in the RCC 30 years ago (Jews don't convert into the RCC).
I taught in the RCC and was on the pastoral team in a Catholic Charismatic (and ecumenical) prayer group.
Upon retirement, I attended the RCC less often, and my family is also a member of the Anglican church, where I have taught.
I expect to become active again in a local Catholic Charismatic prayer group.

Shalom Mark. You are a really interesting fellow! I am also a Jew and a Catholic. Do you still keep any Jewish traditions?

Confessional Lutheran worshiping in an LCMS church that is not always quite catholic enough for my tastes. Raised Baptist, moved to non-denominational Evangelicalism, now Lutheran.

I just discovered this forum btw. I had previously thought it did not include Lutherans.

Traditional theology always did; remember the Round Table? This is what it has become. More recently, because of the nature of TT we approached those who posted in the Apostolic Churches form to see if they would be interested in moving in with TT; and it was unanomous, they did.

So, here we are!

We knew that you would eventually join us!
