You're definitely right that people have been ringing alarm bells for a very long time about what is going on and what will happen soon. But the reason why I say that these things are so imminent is because of what is happening as laws are passed that are cracking down on Christianity, especially in the USA. We still have freedoms now, but we must not take that for granted. I would definitely be willing to talk with you provided nothing happens. I don't want anything to happen at all, besides for more people to repent & come to know the Lord Jesus that their lives too might be changed. I am thankful that there are so many Christians the world over and that more people come to know Jesus daily. However, earth is fast turning into hell. Consider our dear brothers & sisters in countries where they are daily living in fear of ISIS or the government coming after them to throw them into jail. Take a look at what is happening in the USA with Christian speech being labeled as hate speech and it's being called hate to say that God does not approve of homosexuality. People are being thrown into jail in this country as well, and these things are being stepped up. These are not things that should be taken lightly, these are things we must heed, and that is why I say to pay attention. When these things can be tolerated a little bit in one place, they will be tolerated a little more in another place, and a little more in another, until before we know it Christians in this country are being severely persecuted as well. When I say wake up, I mean we need to spend dedicated, focused time in prayer & the word of God daily, seeking the face of the Lord, because that is the only way we will understand what is about to happen. People who serve the Lord have been feeling a sense of urgency in their spirit for a long time. This is because God continuously warns about what will happen before it happens because He is merciful & wants us to be prepared. More than that, He would rather withhold the judgment. However, because we love evil things (killing our babies instead of helping soon to be mothers by offering financial help and all types of support; changing the definition of marriage, an institute clearly made by God between man & woman so that they could populate the earth) rather than God, because we choose to justify the evil things we do rather than turn from our sins and repent, these judgements do happen. This is not what God wants. When you read in the Old Testament, you will see that before God brings judgment, He will warn & ask continuously for His way to be done. Like with Moses & Pharaoh. Did God want to punish the Egyptians that way and cause such sorrow when they all lost their firstborn children? No. Did Pharaoh force God's hand by not heeding Moses' pleas? Yes. You may say that God hardened Pharaoh's heart, but look further, in the first chapters of Exodus, you will see how the pharaohs were killing the children of the Hebrews. Was that right, was that good, was that just? Absolutely not. Thus, the Egyptians called down judgment upon themselves by continuing to uphold an evil lifestyle. We must not put God in a box and say that an event will happen at one point or another. No one knows the day or the hour and God is merciful. He will continue to withhold judgment when He sees hearts change and when we pursue Him, our Maker, our Father. However, when we continue to turn from Him & do evil towards each other, when we continue to spit in His face and harm the innocent and say that we can change His ways, that is when we must fear, because that is when it is inevitable that the judgment hand of God will come down. My friend, when I say wake up, I mean we must pray and seek first the kingdom of God. God always wants us to draw near to Him, in both good times and bad, and when we draw near to Him, when we uphold in prayer our persecuted brothers & sisters, when we ask for God's will to be done upon the earth, when we see things the way God sees them and the iniquities being worked upon the earth begin to hurt our hearts the way they hurt the heart of God, then we are on the right page.
