CAF does it again

I know I shouldn't even be posting there during Lent, let alone Holy Week, but I just thought it worthmentioning.
In a thread started by a Catholic on why he found fault with Orthodoxy and chose Catholicism as a result, a few of us pointed out that what he described as a problem in the Orthodox Church exists in spades in the Catholic Church.
In particular, I brought up the fact that the insistence by Bishop John Ireland that Eastern Catholics in North America must abide by Western Catholic rules, led to the mass exodus of at least 20,000 Eastern Catholics into the bosum of the Orthodox Church through St Alexis Toth.

That thread has now vanished!

I haven't been over there in about a week. Was it that really long thread in Non-Catholic religions titled something like, "Catholic or Orthodox? Or should I stay put?"

No, it was "Why the Orthodox appeal kept me Roman", also in Non-Catholic religions subforum.

I used to post there as well, but once I found Orthodoxy, there was really no need.

Why do you post there? I really have little interest anymore in what Romans think about Orthodoxy or how they want to justify their distinctive theology, ecclesiology and liturgies.

Basically to keep them honest. Several posters there are not shy in posting false information regarding Orthodoxy, so a few of us do our best to show their polemics for what they are, mostly for the benefit of the lurkers. It's not a task I personally am really qualified for, but I've been a member there for a while and feel I should at least try and do my bit.
